Halford lives in Arizona and at the time of the album release we had some good times in the desert sun at the lakes and rivers and it always carried over to the evenings until...well the sun came up again :D

First show of the 2008 summer time - Iron Maiden!!!

I had the good fortune of having an old friend (Dante) from M&M call me last minute and offer for me to accompany him to the show with excellent seats and VIP access. I was surprised to receive the call. I had a very good time both watching the show and hanging out with Dante.

Here are some youtubes of the show that some guy posted. Not great quality at all. All the classics all night, non stop for a two hour show.

I have Y&T's greatest hits on disc. Hafta say Mean Streak is prolly their best rocker. One of my favorites to roll 'em down and crank it up in the summer is BTO's Takin' Care of Business. Mississippi Queen by Mountain is a great one too. Any old Scorpions will do just fine.

That guy used to be in a Philippine cover band called the zoo. This guy is unbelievable....they covered everything and he sounds almost perfect on a ton of songs....

Yeah. I saw it on Ellen a few minutes ago. He is in the studio with them recording their new album.

EDIT: Don't ask me why I was watching Ellen. If you have to ask you wouldn't understand ;)

Wait a minute. Golf? A reference to drinking tea? Christianity? Are we still talking about good ol' head-banging Iron Maiden here?

Yes, we still are. And yes, Nicko McBrain is a Christian.

His conversion is apparently a complicated issue, but one McBrain obviously loves to talk about. What follows is his response to a single question about his conversion, which he says happened in 1999.
