Creatine is not what is making ya puffy. People do not realize Creatine is stored intra-cellular, not extra-cellular. The common myth of creatine causing so much water weight is false. Remember it draws water inside the cells, not on the outside. Creatine should be used year round regardless of your goal (dieting or gaining) there are too many positive benefits for endurnace, performance, and strength. not to mention it is one of the cheapest products a man can buy. There is a reason it is a staple

Thats like saying you eat a steak and look puffy because it has 2g of creatine in it.. Not gonna happen.
take 3-5g on workout days, no need to load/cycle, and your body will saturate just fine with the creatine dosage.
The need to load or cycle is not necessary one bit.

Total body creatine pool turnover is ~2 grams per day. So, if you've neared saturation from use of creatine over an extended period of time, then you are not going to retain more than ~2 grams no matter what. ~3 grams (+/- a little dpending upon LBM) is really all that's needed. As you can see from the Cr group below, most of the 10 grams of creatine taken at once goes down the toilet.
 
The Solution thanks for the information I did not know that. I always seem to smooth out a little when I start my creatine. I have always cycled it 12 week on 4 weeks off.
It is cheap and I think I will take it year round.

Most people do not know that.. Most people do not realize you can get 2g in fish or beef when you eat it.
So my question to you.. Do you cycle eating a steak? I sure as hope not.. or else you may be unamerican :)
 
5 week update:
Flexatril:
Been taking Flexatril for 39 days my left shoulder has note felt this good in a year. The All Day pain is gone! If I had to guess My bad left shoulder has improved 85% (Miracle) When I lift it feels so much better I have to watch it or I tweak it because my confidence on hitting it with some real weight is up. All my minor joint pain was gone in less than 2 weeks.
This stuff is for REAL! I’m 53 years old and have 35years of weight training and the joint issues that come with it!

Xtend Perform:
I have taken this for 19 workouts. (1 scoop with my pre and one scoop Intra). I have noticed my DOMs have been almost none existent since workout 3, and my endurance keeps going up. Really notice when the gym isn’t busy and I can cut my rest down to 30-45sec. between lifts. (Not working in with someone). I forgot to bring it one day and I noticed I was more worn out at the end. With the Xtend I’m always comfortably tired.
The Mango Flavor is great. Goes down smooth mixed with my pre workout chug and is very easy to sip on while I work out. Personally I get a little hint of that Fresh Peach aftertaste which I really like.
Needless to say this has Performed for me much better than I expected.

When I first started taking this I was huffing and puffing during my workout. By week 3 I noticed less of this and now it seems like I’m not putting in enough work. (If anything I’m pounding the weight even more)

Flexatril: 40 days. My left shoulder is still improving; I would say it is @ 85%. This has improved my shoulder from 50% to 85% in less than 45 days. If someone told me this I would say they are lying.

Gen Notes: The Xtend Perform kind of snuck up on me. I was thinking just another BCAA product, now that I have used it for 5 weeks my endurance is night and day during my workout and the wife was making a comment last night. (I will just say she made me stop)!:laugh:

Xtend Perform: All I can say is endurance is at an all-time high. I have a cold, sinus crap right now, move to my chest.
I powered thru my HST back to back Friday and Saturday.
I have to give the credit to the Xtend Perform that I got through both workouts back-to-back and it was the best I felt all day.
Note: Sunday I was at my daughter’s softball Tournament with a dam fever of 101. One of the moms had some Advil and that helped a little. Slept like crap last night, crud is moving to my chest now.

Flexatril: 44 days. My left shoulder is still improving; I would say it is @ 85%. I’m starting to beat this mule with the same information. This stuff has worked like a miracle for me!

Gen Notes: The Xtend Perform is way more than just another BCAA product, now that I have used it for 5 weeks my endurance has improved substantially.

My weight is starting to increase as my strength dose. I think the fat is still staying off. only thing to go by is the mirror.

The front of her hip / pelvis is bothering her. it was wet out and when she stole 2nd. she kind of went into the bag a little awkward and was telling me it kind of bothered her to run the rest of the day.

I would not advise it. I would suggest getting a medical opinion before having someone take a supplement because they feel pain. Doctor's orders are always going to be superior over taking some pills and hoping to cure some pain.

I do not suggest supplements for people under 18 years of age besides fishoil, multi's, whey, or creatine (for starting athletes).

Don't know how many partners I have been through that put on a little muscle and lost interest. (That's why I have been solo for 10 years) I get used to have a consistent partner then poof they are gone.

Almost all the time I have spent lifting has been by myself. I feel your pain! LOL
 
Sorry have a sinus infection and think I caught a Stomach virus. Pukked all night. really pops the abs though!
Hope to get to the gym tomorrow, if so I will have a 3 day in a row HST! assuming I can handle it. I will probably be a little worn out.

Working out will break down the immune system to a degree, so it could make you more prone to sickness and make things worse.
Get 100%. Don't go through the motions in the weightroom bearing a sickness.

Thanks for the advice. the whole office is sick. that is how I got it. there are only 4 out of 16 in admin at the office today! it spread like wildfire.

It hit my dad as well. He has had horrible headaches, horrible flu-like symptoms with bad hiccups, and a high fever. He has maybe ate 2 meals in 3 days. Just get rest, get well. Don't be stubborn and think you need to be in the gym. I rather see you get well, be 100%, and CRUSH a workout after getting the body some rest.
