Does anybody use a weightlifting app to help them train?
I have an old iPad, and I think it would be better than carying around a paper pad when I exercise, if I had the right software.
I am in the process of digging out my pre-pandemic workout to see where I stand.
I look at the equipment, and remember back from 10 years ago when I could max out many of the selectorized machines and I look what I'm doing now, and it's tough. Where I once was targeting a 300 pound bench press, I'm not targeting 150.

What's the name of the app? My iPad is showing several. Thanks.I use an app for 5/3/1 makes it much easier to keep track of progression
I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I know that pain well. Prayers to you and family and the lord sends you strength at this difficult time. You'll be back im sure.My mother just died. I had been her caregiver for the past three years. She had been in really bad shape for the past 6 months... blind, paraplegic, incontinent... Now that she's gone, I really need to get heart ablation surgery to try and fix my heart rhythm issues, which have been plaguing me for years.
When I was 30+ I would have agreed to this advice. But after 45 it is a lot harder than it seems regardless of what your brain tells you. Personally Im thinking that some may require a kick start to get back on the path and make the trials and tribulations so inconsequential pre 40's less daunting. getting old aint for pussies thats for sure. A little boost to get the ball rolling see some gains get back into t he swing of things may be worth whileI'd suggest hitting the weights and cardio a while before thinking about PH's or AAS. Save those for when you hit a plateau. If you just want some motivation, maybe try some energy drink or something OTC for some pep.
