just a reminder to all those who loved the first series the prequal begins tonight on Starz..i already got my DVR set on Starz HD..cant wait
 
Don't get Starz, so I can't watch. Will be getting it on Blu-Ray for sure though!!
 
I'll be watching it tomorrow for sure ;)

Hoping it's as good as the last season. Andy is a great actor and big shoes to fill for sure. I always loved watching an episode and then going to the gym after - great motivator.
 
Looking forward to this - the first season was fcuking awesome!
 
Wow! Totally creamed my jeans! Gannicus is the man! All he cares about is fighting, wine and women... and in no particular order. I like how Jango Fett is the Doctorae hahaha lol. Anyways, discuss amongs yourselfs!!!

You get used to it - the show is very raw and primal, and it only gets worse, LOL.
 
Just a heads up: Netflix will be streaming this season of Spartacus GOTA just like they did for Blood and Sand.
 
Well I liked the first episode - it's a bit different from the original season though.

At this point - the characters aren't that "deep" - but this was the first show so we'll see where it goes from here.

Personally I think that Lucy Lawless makes the series and the last scene of her last night in that semi-lezbo opium dream dance thing was just ... damn ... damn ...
 
That episode was everything the first season was: full of violence, sex and rage. Can't wait to see how they develop this storyline until Andy Whitfield is ready to act again.
 
I thought it was a great pilot; great development in small doses of characters that doesn't ruin anything for those just now starting, but still gives little inside "jokes" (even though they aren't jokes) to the followers from Blood & Sand. They didn't waste any time at all jumping into the semi-porn this season :lol:. I could be wrong, but I thought they eased into it a bit more last year.
 
Is this just the start of season 2? Or is this 3?

I saw a preview the other night and am downloading season 1 right now.....It looks friggin awesome!!

Especially since I just watched Gladiator for the 1,867th time this weekend :D

Gods of the Arena is season two, which is actually a prequel to season one.
 
Liked Spartacus, And liking Gods of the Arena. Looks like its going tobe a good prequel.
