SNAGged and TORN..No More! (The Saga Continues)

you got me considering a lil run myself in the very near future, when I start trying to cut. I'm picturing this scheme along w/ OEP+RC, oooooo.. :Thinkingof_:
 
Man i have been gone too long... and it was only a few days... LOL Good stuff in here as usual. Looking good, leaning up nicely. I am going to be doing something similiar to your goal now Snags. Had to ixnay the May contest, I have screwed my knee up a bit and it is going to require a good month of down time before I can safely push it again. Pushed my show back to July, and just when everything on my body was coming together. Oh well imagine how much better I will be in May with a few more months muscle as well as scuplting going on.

I have experienced some knee issues for the first time, I found that those DC quad stretches really help... don't know why...

guess I can come out and be public with the new addition now..dosing this twice daily, 3 caps each with breakfast and dinner. this is my first time doing TNA.
I am already feeling it kick in. :)

I started it FRI night, so actually my dose here this morning was the tenth @ 3caps per..still quick tho, agreed.
no aggression to speak of (other than my normally aggressive self), just a noticeable improvement in mood, lil libido kick (despite my still-wounded soldier :(), and an all-around improvement in fullness. that last one may just be the synergism with the A-Stack, but still.. :thumbsup:

felt like slinging some heavy iron around today instead of my hi-rep superset format (I'll do that from time to time), ran with some 3x5's, some different exercises (flat DB, incline BB, decline flyes for chest; then incline DB curls out to sides, standing BB curls, concentration curls), 90sec rests thruout..mannnn did I feel strong! :firedevil:
I'm hella pumped, oooo tempted to snap a pic but gonna lay off for now, lest I be accused of being vain again.. :biglaugh:
next round of pics are gonna be smoking is all I can say. :yup:
 
my mini-review of LG Sciences Lipotropic and BC+EAA:

in the past couple days I've phased out the Lipotropic, in fact now I'm consuming all real food at every meal for the time being..I had been having an issue with loose stool (and frequency of such as well), couldn't put my finger on it. all other protein powders I use, I have experience with and have never had any such issues.
anyway, since I have eliminated the gemma, my stools are back to where they usual are - solid, and 1x/day (shortly after I wake up - I'm pretty regular)..I can only conclude the Lipotropic to be the issue.
[note that I had a similar problem earlier in the yr when hi-dosing resveratrol, but that went away when I eliminated this from my line-up.]
as for the BC+EAA, I like this, def thumbs up. solid sourcing, great profile, mixability is perfect..my only negative is the container; the way it is shaped (tall & skinny), when you get below the half-way mark it becomes difficult to get your hand in there to scoop out the product, not a very user-friendly design.. :frustrate:
 
Lipotropic gave me serious sliders as well. Funny thing about the BCAA container too. I like the short fat containers!! Definitely a good quality supplement though.

Yes in a way. I am consuming at least 3 a day but not every meal. I am more just recomping right now and adding more cardio and less carbs. Carbs are still in the normal range on workout days but then drop to none except for grapefruit on non workout days. I am already noticing a loss in fat and it seems to make me alot drier too. :439:

I never really followed any logs (uh, no pun intended :o) on this product, didn't know too much about it, so I'd not heard if that was common.

flipping those macro intakes around like you're talking about.
I mean, when you stay in the hi-protein/fairly hi-fat/low-carb zone for awhile, I think you realize better benefits toward the end, and taking it 10 days is ridiculous..the longer the body stays in this continued intake (to a point, obviously) the more notable and potentially drastic changes can be made.
flipping back and forth from this to a higher carb on a frequent basis, I don't know if this would be as effective IMO.

but, like you said, it's working for you. I'm not trying to tell you to change! :)

yeah, cardio and off days as well, standard carbs on weight days. that was the issue that I had to wrap my head around, if combining w/ moderate to high carb intake on weight-training days.

I usually think outside the box like that, but I was more focused on the beef & grapefruit combo the way I run it - and that is only a short-term diet, not something you want to run extended time (2 weeks at the most, and I actually like 7-10 days duration).
the way H is utilizing it, his format could be a run pretty much indefinitely.

day off today, total rest.

have a couple demos coming up this w/e for USP, I'll be traveling to GNC's in Bloomington this SAT (from 2-6) and Terre Haute SUN (12-4), so I thought briefly I might get some cardio in this morning..
nahhh. :D
I'll still be able to workout SAT morning before I leave, and will only miss SUN, so 2 total rest days couple days apart is probably needed anyway.

before I left the house this morning, decided to pull the trigger on my version of this diet, starting today. made up my patties I'll need for the day and packed 'em in Tupperware, along with some grapefruit. this is a pretty easy way to pack meals for the w/e trip too, have all the beef made SAT morning before I leave, packaged away, and I have these containers too that hold 1/2 grapefruit (eat half, store the other half till next time I eat). sounds like a plan..just couldn't wait on running this, anxious to see the results w/ OEP/RC in the mix like I mentioned.

Seeing as you are already a picture whore(i kid i kid) You should do a little pre post picture setup for this grapefruit run and let us see what really is going down. Just a thought

yeah that would seem to be right up my alley..unfortunately, I don't have my camera today - daughter took it to school for a class project. she'll be back tonight with it, we'll see if I got time to get it done. I'll be busy getting last minute things done before I head out on my trip.
if I don't have time - maybe I'll embrace the concept of keeping you in suspense till the end.. :shhh:
 
killa leg day, strength was up and just really rocked the session..
still craving the heavy weights, worked in the 5-8rep range for 6 sets ATG BB squats (finished @ 305x5, no pain, very pleased :)), followed w/ leg extension/curl ss for 4 sets, then an isolated triple drop-set on the leg curls after that; finished with standing BB calf raises off plate and donkey raises w/ the wife and plate on the back. :D
feeling really good..definitely noting a difference in overall mood since the addition of TNA, and a definite increase in muscle hardness.

Yeah, I am saving the other bottles of TNA I have to run with the Asteroid Stack, I got such great results with Divanil with the Asteroid Stack. I know this will be way better.
 
scrapped the beef & grapefruit. :D
figured if I want to stay close to 200lbs, that won't help things.
I'm not ready for full-fledged cutting yet.

another day, another unreal training session..

blasted the shoulders and triceps today, unreal energy thruout, strength continues to flourish everywhere.

lil pic attached..weight at 196.0 even upon rising.
attended a pre-Super Bowl party last night (I do live in Indiana y'know :)) and ate some foods that aren't on my typical menu.. :rolleyes:
anyway, I'm not as tight as I should be (have been) due to this, but I'll tighten up again quickly.

I need to think about shaving again.. :p

2 cups broccoli veggie stir-fry, made in 1 TBS EVOO
5ox 96% lean ground beef on toasted Ezekiel
slice of 2% pepperjack cheese

I love this meal.

back day was just grooving this morning. :D

still rolling with my heavier weight/lower rep mode.
bent DB rows, bent BB rows reverse-grip, D-grip pulldowns to front, D-grip seated rows..3 sets each, 6-12 rep range.
hanging leg raises, decline sit-ups, and V-ups finished off the abs.

lil sneak peek pic of the front spread..have to maintain my reputation as a picture whore around heah.. :lol:
will seriously try to contain my pics from here on out, as I plan on ending this log at the end of the month.
plan on posting full-body shots at that point..let's see what I can get done by then. :)
