Snagency Primordially shifts to V2.0, 16-week bodybuilding prep with Andro Series

Yup, for sure.
(plus - I own stock in French's)

Can't wait for pic day tomorrow..ooooooooooo.
I thought we had finally hit metabolic saturation for what I am trying to accomplish right now, @4400cals yesterday.
And I feel as if I'm there, but I still awoke this morning at 189. (better get them scales checked, think they're stuck)
In any event, I've seen what I need to for now, and go forward yet more confidently again.

I love this stuff!

Yah had me doing it a couple years ago... but I refuse to put it on steak!!

Definite no-no on steak, bro. :nono:
That's almost like a cardinal sin to put anything on a steak..kills me when I see people pour A1 sauce over a nice cut, ugh.

Montreal Steak spice and mesquite (clubhouse) is the only stuff that touches my steak...

negged.

:p

Maybe it's just that my (soon-to-be) ex had a love affair with A1 too..put it over every meat in existence.
Yuck. Was a horrible sight to see.

Hmmm....nah, not going there. Lol

Tobasco, I put that $hit on EVERYTHING!!!

I resemble that remark!! Lmao

I love green tabasco on my scrambled eggs.

Good to see some things remain the same around here..
Inevitable, that a Snag thread would turn to discussion of foods, condiments..food porn, and (in some cases) just plain porn.
:D

Happy Weekend, all.

END WEEK #2
14 WEEKS OUT FROM SHOW

Two in the bag, and the second week was a "feeling out" process....

Weight: Just barely tipping the scales at 190lbs this morning. This is a total loss of ~1.5lbs for the week, so 7.5 total in the 2 weeks period. Last few days I have been feeling more comfortable with what I can do on AMv3, and I'm learning, but I still feel there is so much untapped potential there -- and I have a strong sense that steroids have definitively changed my carbohydrate metabolism, possibly my ability (or need) to utilize large quantities of fats as well..hit ~4400 cals at peak this week.

Strength: Not tough to gauge this one any longer. Extremely pleased with all aspects of strength this week, as I round further into form from rest and inactivity. Strength levels are really well beyond norm, for where I should be right now.

Stamina: Almost back up to full speed here..really haven't let it all loose yet, and of course not pushing myself all out on the tennis court during this time, but well pleased overall in this category.

Libido: To put it plainly - in overdrive. Not used to not having my 17yr partner around and getting it at will, so there has been a tad bit of frustration.. [insert sad smiley here]

Drive: Has been fantastic thruout. Every single session I am rocking it, and wanting to rock it every day..I have to stop myself from exceeding a certain point of overtraining that I am trying to attain..tricky.
(today, in fact, is only my 2nd total off-day since we started -- and, it may not be by the time it's said and done, as some tennis may be in store later).

Recovery: Still amazed at how I am recovering from my intense and frequent sessions..albeit, tbh, this is the one thing I expected from steroids. Have not been disappointed.

NEGATIVES:
Small minor things, that I intend to keep an eye on going forward.
Nusances are continued night sweats (last night was the worst yet - pillow was soaked!), and some blemishes on the skin. Again, nothing major here. What I may be concerned with if it gets worse, is slight (very slight) left nipple sensitivity, and my right nut feels a little odd at times (may just be from my exertion levels and the UnderArmor I'm wearing to train in tho). I have a sense my prostate may be slightly swolen, as there has been a time or two I cannot pee as freely as I usually do..again, will monitor going forward, and any feedback from you guys who have experience with these things is appreciated.
I have had absolutely no gut issues thruout this process - until this morning, when I awoke with a slight stomachache.
(I attribute that more to a new cut of sirloin I had for dinner last night, 12oz worth, from a store I do not usually shop at)

POSITIVES: Mood has been great. No over-aggression, no mood swings, and I am not overwhelmed at all at things going on in my life, despite the stress I am facing on multiple fronts..in fact, not to blow my own horn or anything, but I am pleased with myself at how I am handling all these issues, whereas in other times I may have blown a gasket or two along the way, LOL..
Simply, I will not have distractions right now, and I am focused and locked in.
If there is one way to desrcibe how I feel in the face of confrontation and adversity right now, it can be summed up as: in control. Calm, cool, and collected.

OVERALL RATING, WEEK 2: No letdown with this stuff yet! Very pleased.

My photographer won't be in till later, so a random pic to keep you guys at bay for now..

I had an all-carb meal last MON, replacing my normal last feeding of day (high P/F shake) with this:

3/4 cup uncooked (makes ~2 1/4 cups prepared) Mahatma brown rice, w/ 1 TBS butter
1 cup frozen blueberries over top
7oz sweet potato
couple handfuls broccoli

was in the 750cal range

I know - blueberries over rice seemed kinda odd (was not what I intended, but had no banana on hand and dint want to run to the store, so I hit the Walgreen's outside of my addition)..but it was relly pretty damn tasty. :D

Am thinking I may just do this same thing, 2x this week, just to see how it pans out.

Fug you can already see separation going down like you were 3, 4 weeks out... you can just cruise...

Yah I get the prostate thing as well, I just take some extra saw palmetto and I am golden ...:)

What fat you have is so evenly distributed you don't have to worry about anything than different levels of shredded ... lucky fugger... it's from genetics yah a lot of it but it's also years and years of good diet.

Thanks for that, Doug. (but I'm not near 3-4 weeks out shape yet, trust me)
My waist has thickened since my younger years, and I don't know if I can offset that for the "look" I am going for. We'll see.
Saw Palmetto eh? I'll grab some today. Have had no other issues since the isolated instances, but want to stay ultra-sensitive to any changes in my body.
You always like my genetics! :p And I have decent genetics, for sure, but I am not a freak as some are blessed to be. I work very hard, and control many parameters, to create "synergy" to foster my growth. I feel even someone with poor genetics, can overcome those limitations with the right approach in place..(yes, yrs of tightly controlling diet help as well, haha)

Quick update, of fair importance:
So I did end up getting some tennis in yesterday, @1.5hrs of more intensity/effort than I had planned (sh!t just got competitive out there on the courts and I had to step up my game a smidge)..
#1 - I forgot to bring my knee brace/wraps down, first time I played w/o them on since, 2010 I think?
#2 - Figured I'd be sore next day from the pounding of the hardcourt, as I always usually am.
#3 - Really let it loose on my serve, so was interested to see how L shoulder would feel.
And the result? My gawd, I feel fantastic this morning! Recovered insanely well (almost feel like I did nothing but a light practice session), shoulder is immaculate w/ no pain or twinges, back knees and legs are all good. Shoooot - I'm ready to play again!
(No can do, squats and lunges this day)

And - I seemed to have kicked into another level of leanness overnight. (tennis always does that to me)

Great sleep last night, night sweats receeded to point of almost not noticing anything this morning..
Gearing up for round #3 fellas!

I agree my genetics are qutie poor. I am big and soft but I do have some alright size and a couple body parts that grow essy.. The rest is that I work like a fuggin pig... I likes it though :) so it really doesn't feel like work .. more like play... I wish I could do more but I just woudn't recover... have to play it smart and sometimes that kind of sucks...

Working within our own understanding of our bodies - that's what it's all about, brother.
I have watched you grow that knowledge of yourself, in the time I have known you. It is very cool to see.

Thanks, I had to come to grips with the realization that my joints wouuld not support the type of lifting that I used to do and that was a new thing for me so I had to adjust, what came of that was that I could make progress using alternative methods to using heavier weight. I knew some stuff about using lighter weight but needed to broaden that aspect of what I do...now I will work may way up and take my shots here and there...

Aaaaaand some more random pics.
There will come a time when I won't have time to do this, so while I can I'll post 'em..besides - the grilled chicken breast was truly picturesque today, and perfectly made: juicy and tasty on the inside, grilled just right w/ a tad of olive oil & seasoning on the outside. Yum.

I've really become quite fond of this mid-day meal.

And to conclude my busy w/e of updates (have fun guys!)..
In addition to setting my dietary roadmap for the rest of the way, went shopping today for a few things and picked up some supps for down the road.
25lbs of 96% lean beef was purchased (good sale, $1.50 off per lb, wish I coulda bought more)
some mass amino tabs, which I'll use in hardening weeks w/ meals and thruout training
some BCAAs, which I'll use last 4 weeks
couple jugs protein powders
and, per Doug, some saw palmetto. :D

Keep in mind - current supp use is nill, aside from AMv3. (protein powders don't count, that's food)
Word has it that I have a cool surprise in store for me when I'll need a preworkout product, which I'm guessing will be come hardening phase, when cals are reduced and energy levels may reflect such reduction..

With that, we roll along.
*no more pics today, I promise. :)

My gawd, this log just made me hungry... Subbed and in for the ride as well as the food porn.

SO..............................
is it week #3 when you're really supposed to take off on this stuff?

;)
I anticipate big changes over this week and next..time to make my move.

I regularly train like an athlete nowadays (because I am cool like that and train in a strength and conditioning gym), so some extra sprints may be necessary for me regardless ;)

Having a real job nowadays tho many of my meals can be produced with quality food that may ***** yours one day! Or maybe not :(

@ Study - well..now I got 2 surprises. Will keep ya'll in suspense till the w/e. :smoker:

@ DkGreek - nope, not at all man. Just like with a quality fish oil tho, I never get burps that way. ;)

Small update: True day of rest this day (no tennis or weights), only 2nd now since prep started.
Time to recover a bit..do it all again tomorrow.

All caught back up looking great you really hold a lot of thickness for being 189-190. Very curious where you will be by the end of this regarding mass. As far as being ripped I just don't see any issue with that happening at all.

Your food porn almost made me have a foodgasm. I have to admit I am someone who loves A1, but I don't really put it on really good cuts of steak. About the best quality steak I will put it on is Sirloin, and that is only for a couple bites if cooked right. I love the steak but damn it I want to have my AI too. Now ground beef or turkey, chicken, cheaper leaner cuts of beef, or any time reheating sucks the moisture out of the meat I turn to A1. I like it on my frys when I have them, I like it on baked potatoes instead of butter. I have just always loved A1.

Now for mustard as you already know I love me some mustard too. I love to put hot sauce in it even more. Just not something with much vinegar it takes over the flavor too much.

@ Kleen - LOL, foodgasm.

And it's my turn - live update here:

I just consumed (if that's the word for it) a ~1500cal cheat meal. :yum:
Macros as near as I can guesstimate it are ~200c/60p/40f ... doesn't really matter.
I was ravenous, for some reason. Had to feed the machine.

Miss those food comas!! Lol

Being in CA, I'm not sure if I've had a truly good cut of steak. I hear people talking about grain fed cow all the time, but I don't think I've ever had it.

Are you, me?

I LOVE A1. But I refuse to put it on a good cut of steak. However, when it comes to cheaper cuts, ground beef, chicken, turkey, etc... LOAD IT UP.
