Loving this so far, brother.

I'm running the Spartan Lean and I've been on for about 1.5 weeks now and I can say that the pumps are incredible, strength is increasing - I just broke my own PR on lat pull downs, and I'm shredding body fat like a mother******.

All around, I feel more active, stronger, leaner, vascular, and I have the most surreal pumps.

How high a dose do you run a day

I run 2 caps a day, just as the recommended dosage. I'll continue personally 2x caps a day for the remainder of my 4 weeks.

Would it be okay to combine this one with Iron Legion 11-kt ? just found a bottle in my stash :D

One thing that helps me with my hamstrings is that I will shorten them with things like body extended leg curl and then later lengthen them with stiff legged deads. I'm usually ok. I am doing a lot of lunges now also and I know that really helps also.

Nothing like lunges to really work the extremities. Really helps with your depth in squats. When the lower range feels really strong because you have been doing your homework with the lunges, it adds so much confidence to your other lifts.

Day 6-

yesterday was supposed to be shoulders with bi's but because a few people were doing supersets with drop sets, that made it impossible. So no biggie, just hit the shoulders harder.
instead of the smith, I used the regular shoulder sitting press. Not sure if you guys have seen this (I will take a pic tomorrow) but the arms have a lever on them that allow the 2 upright holding bars to move forward. It will move from directly over your head to about 5 inches forward. Allows for a good pick up. As you pick the bar up, you have to lift and push back a little so the arms reset behind you. If you don't, completing a full rep is impossible. The main issue with this midevil device, once your done, you have to replace the bar back behind you; putting your shoulders at a HUGE disadvantage. Would have asked someone to reset the arms but when you have a few hundred pounds over your head, trust is an issue.

went to side db raises, seated strict form with a pause at the top and slow on the neg and superset with db shrugs. Titled the back part of the db inwards towards my hamstrings. Shrug (not lift) up with a pause

behind the back barbell shrugs superset with db front raises superset and isolation plate lift-

3 x 10 45- just using the 45 plate, slightly bent over, shrug up and back and hold

Shoulders were on fire and felt incredible. Im starting to notice more that my upper body is looking fuller, strength is on par, didn't feel that anything was to light.

No lethargy during the day, great night sleep again (thank you!) hunger staved off a little. Wasn't starving as much, although I am consuming more protein.
No headaches, no stomachs, no muscle issues at all.

Nice shoulder blast. our gym sucks in terms of not enough of the popular equipment. That being the most used cable machines. We keep asking for 2 more lol. What get's me are the ones that sit on their phone while not actually using the equipment.
 
Day 7-

sh1t a whole week already- wow! Just posted the shoulders above and today was going to be the chest and bi since I was thrown off yesterday. Today I wanted to focus on hitting the short and long head of the bicep. So today, I used a wide grip on the ez bar making sure elbows were in as much as possible then wait 30 seconds then a close grip. To help increase the peak of both arms, during lift up and during every ecise, I made sure my hands/wrist were bent forward 1/2 way up to the peak contraction (like your holding a plate in your hand) and squeezed at the top. if you knuckles are facing the ceiling, its wrong. They need to be facing away, so your finger nails are facing the ceiling. What a burn and incredible pump today.

a set of wide grip wait 30 seconds then a set of close grip- 1 min to 1 min 10 seconds rest

70x 10 and 10
2 sets of 80 10 each wide and close

decline db curls- with the same method for the hands and rest. set wait 30 and go
4 sets 10 reps - 25lb elbows straight back so arms come up by my side
4 sets 10 reps - 25 lb elbows in at an angle as well as arms

3 sets of hammer curls- straight up, with elbows starting point little behind my back
10 x 40


I finished up with low cable pulls single arm-
wrist in the same position.
4 sets 10 40lbs

best pump I have had in a long time and felt both heads of the bicep. really great workout today. Wgts didn't feel that heavy, but after the low cable pulls I was done.

wgt still holding at 202- aggression was holding steady- lol- but a good aggression.
no headaches, stomach issues or muscle pains. Hunger didn't really hit until I left the gym. just got done eating the second piece of chicken and some yolkless egg noodles.

Muscles feel full, strength is up- Spartan Mass is working- Seizing my sh1t !

Thursday 3/10/16-

Good morning everyone,

A few weeks ago, Sparta Nutrition offered several opportunities for members to log 4 new products; a brand new company with an awesome product line that is represented by highly respected members on this forum. The choice was obvious for me when came time to put my application in for this log. My goal, is to reach 210-215 then cut back, reducing my body fat to the low teens while maintaining a weight as close to 210 as possible.

We the consumers would seem to have a big advantage in the supplement industry when it comes to choices. However having the advantage can sometime be extremely overwhelming. 100's of companies selling the same exact compound makes us ask, “who has the best product?” We have all been a victim or know someone who has bought a “bunk” product. There is nothing worse than spending any amount of money on a product that doesn’t work or didn’t do what it was supposed to.

So in today’s supplement game, how in the hell do we start to weed out the competition ? Three of the most important factors to consider are certification of the product, the facility were the product is manufactured and the delivery system. When the company provides the certificate of the product without you having to ask for it that is a pretty good sign you are receiving the purist product without the fillers.

When your supplement is produced in a Good Manufacturing Practice GMP (prevent instances of contamination, mix-ups, deviations, failures, and errors) This assures that the products meets their quality standards and ensures your product stays safe.

The delivery system of the supplement is just as crucial as the supplement itself. What good is a product if it will not be absorbed or digested properly? Spartan products use 6,7,-dihydroxybergamottin (DHB), an organic chemical compound found in grapefruit juice. The basic belief behind DHB is that it alters the metabolism, as DHB blocks the enzyme CYP3A4 – most commonly found within the liver and intestines to heighten the concentration of medication within the blood.

I believe I have made my point pretty clear as to how important this criteria is to me and it should be to you. Certificate of the product, GMP standards and a delivery system to help you reach your goals. Lethargy may be something that you have to keep and eye on but most don't get a lot of it on 1-dhea. I get a bit but the 19-dhea may help here. It's one of the issues we sometimes have in this market though. Nothing really strong for this besides test. Transdermal 4AD used to work really well but as an oral it would cause more sides as you had to dose it too high. Epi-andro may also help.
