Dog walk was shorter today simply cause I was exhausted and hit snooze
. Thursdays for the past decade+ have always seemed like the hardest day of the week, far harder for some reason than a Friday afternoon in the gym.
But I knew Lzzy would be out there waiting. Sure enough I open the slider to the back door to let her and Ax go outside at 4:45 this morning. He runs out to piss, she runs to the front door and sits hopefully that I'll take her for a walk. This is a great routine because now I feel obligated to give her that time. So it's win/win for us both.
Dog walk = 10 min / 1500 steps

Hang power cleans

5 x 135, 155

Hang powecleans

10 x 185 (beast mode engaged)

Notes
Idk if it's the cut, because it doesn't feel that extreme, but lately just been exhausted / burnout a bit. I think it's more a combo of work / life balance etc. I knew I'd go in today and get my session in but on my way I pounded my pump addict preWO and I had poured leftover pineapple juice in it from a can of pineapples I had earlier. Between Black Label coming on as I pulled into the gym and the sugar hitting I suddenly was ready to tear $hit up.
Maybe that's a sign that this sugar diet isn't maintaining levels well enough for me. Next week I'm thinking of switching up to a more balanced plan, going old school with my daily salad prep etc. I'm still leaning up but the wear and tear on my energy level and extreme famine by dinner time is not balanced enough.
