Duffalo bench:
55x10
145x11
235x10
285x5x2 sets

DB tricep rollbacks:
40’sX10x2 sets

Strict Incline DB flys:

First session since getting back from vaycay, wanted to slightly prime the chest for some upcoming heavy weights. It’s been a looking time since I’ve lifted in a hoody and sweatpants, but it will be the new norm. @BOSSMAN says space heaters are for puzzies and I’m on board with that

I don't mind the cold except for my hands ache from the cold bars and what not. Get that hard to bend aching in the knuckles until nice and warm. Sometimes I will just put on gloves.

Lol bro this house has a gas heater in the garage AND I’m lifting in sweats and a hoodie.

Not sure what kind of temps you guys are seeing where you both live, but here it’s about 10* warmer inside my poorly insulated garage than outside, and it’s getting down to freezing in the early mornings when I train.

I document garage temp at the end of each workout.

I'm sure there are some in the teens. East coast Maryland gets pretty frigid.

Boxers, shorts, sweat pants, ua shirt, long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt, stocking cap, some type of small gloves. Sauna suit when its real bad.

Still break a massive sweat

I’m gonna get a leather pair of work gloves (work, not workout lol) for grabbing sub zero bars because I’ve done that and it’s brutal.

I’m gonna get a thermometer after reading Boss’ post and hang in garage. Was around 35° in garage this morn

For all you northerners that laughed at us Texans during the freeze last year imagine living in your poorly insulated garage for a week and a half. That's what our poorly insulated homes felt like We actually have them set up to let heat escape, it is set up to actually draw the heat out of the house so storing heat was not even an option.

Now they are telling us we can expect another one this year... BOO!!!! Please send blankets. LMAO!!!!

I think that’s the important part: you need to be able to break and MAINTAIN a sweat for optimal safety during serious performance.

Yeah but I don’t envy your summers. That’s one of the things I look forward to least if we move to FL. But the rest of the year is worth it I suppose.
Summers are brutal unless you stay in the shade. Really though, 50° feels the same to me as 30° did when I lived in Tennessee. Your body adjusts to your environment

You could probably lay your kaddy over the top of your rack if it’s not too wide and do neutral grip/angled pull-ups as well if they were any easier for you to build up.

My rack has the option for both neutral/angled. I haven’t done straight bar since before the ladder tumble. I am humble.

Fire is lit, fahkaround time is over for this guy. Little bench check to see what’s good. Starting conjugate next week to have the fresh start of the week for logging purposes.
Historically, floor press has always been very indicative (within 10 lbs) of current bench max. BUT, I would use “cheater floor press” in the past, meaning, legs bent and feet flat on floor so a bit of leg drive could be utilized. Today was strict and proper with body completely flat and feet rendered useless. This method is indubitably more difficult.
We shall see in the coming weeks…..

Delaying conjugate until next week, forgot it was thanksgiving. Everybody is on vacay (except me) so I’m working doubles non stop and also going to the in laws for turkey day.

The trick is to have a personal stash big enough that you can’t possibly use it all at once. So when you think about doing it all, you’d say, “Nah, that will definitely f*cking kill me, for sure.”
Or just cruise for a year jk…. Or am I???

Who was cruising Trest? Besides Matthersby; I think he did a show and burned himself out with it all.
Ugh what was his name. It’ll come. Not too long ago. He partied pretty hard as well. Disappeared for a while, came back with crazy stories, disappeared again
