Oh, I'll admit I hate change. I guess I feel that it is too big and expansive and is visually confusing at quick glance. I do like more info, but I would have liked to see it the way it was, but when you hover over the link for a small window show the first part of the post. I've seen it like that on other forums and have always liked it. Couldn't tell you what style/company providing the forum though. I understand as you say this was a change from vbulletin. not sure if it will grow on me rather I will grow accustomed to it.

None the less, still a top notch site.

sorry,explanation,before when i answered an email that was sent to me,i did not have to enter login info, for example user name and password,just to reply to prior email.
 
I still dont' understand what you're talking about email....what email and what login? If you mean login to the site make sure you have clicked the "Save" option and you have cookies enabled in your browser.
 
when u send me a message is this not an email or a reply.what i was saying is usually when i try to reply back to a forum message,i have to enter login to np site and password before reply.i'm sorry if i was not clear,cause i am a big fan of np.normally when i try to reply to a message like the one u just sent me it won't let me reply directly,it requires me to login to np site.thanks for your help,it was like a question not a complaint anyway ,just curious.
 
We are not np....

As i said before, if you click the "save" option when you login then you wont have to again unless you clear your cookies or logout.

if you click quick links then "todays post" it will give you the old format. Still working out the navbar bugs though...

Hi all i want to say about this forum this forum is much better for me and another one.My suggestion is that give us more thread option in this forum.

You can just make yourself a bookmark of Invalid Link Removed . I can't seem to find it either, but with the bookmark in my favorites bar its not particularly any rougher than clicking settings used to be.

I already have a bookmark, that is what I have been using. I figured admin would still want to have this option to click available.

well, there still is the subscribed threads under the Quick Links section, but yeah, its not quite the same as the control panel page.

I don't have it either. The whole user name thing was up this morning but still offered no user cp and subscribed threads options. Plus when I clicked on the home button, I was no longer able to bring up the list by clicking on my username because the ads blocked all the options. Now, not even that isn't available. I'm sorry but these new updates are horrible and will drive me away.

Then go away...we are fixing bugs as they come up. If you want a perfect site, go find one....

AHAHAHAHA! Wow, that was so unprofessional! I'm glad I don't treat my customers like you. I've been on this site for four years next month. Don't worry though, forums are at no shortage!

One, you're aren't a customer of mine as I don't sell a damn thing..you are a guest here on my site. If you don't like, hit the road....people bust their ass to try and make it better, as we have over the years...if you want to bitch about you missing a link or you can't get to your threads the way you used to, then go bitch someplace else..I have more important things to do then worry about what you feel YOU need on my site.

I'll tell Steve his rep isn't happy with the site setup....then I will laugh.

Nice work, no doubt you guys put some time into the updates, but if you want any constructive feedback to make the site more attractive to its guests just ask.

People hated the app when it came out. We have 150k downloads and almost 5 star reviews. People hated the notifications when we first installed it..now we take it away people freak. People always hate change and complain about it as if we are trying to make it worse and not working our asses off to make it better.

Its mazing how many people that are guests here want consideration while offering NONE in return. Courtesy goes a LONG way....telling me everything sucks, there are plenty of forums out there and you're driving me away won't work..it will help me help you get out of here....fine..go to those other forums..have fun...I will continue to build this one and having it grow more every year its up.

This same quote has been said by countless people after each major update we do. Then, oddly enough, the same people who were complaining about something were the ones who couldn't live WITHOUT it after it had been here for a while.

Constructive feedback is always accepted and appreciated. We can't guarantee we can accommodate EVERYONE's feedback, but we'll try.

I can certainly tell you though that comments like "this is horrible and will drive me away" is not constructive criticism.
 
Understandable.
My message was not intended to sound as if I was threatening to leave.
I'm just stating my opinion. I'm sure once we get used to the updates we'll forget how it used to be ;)

Click the dropdown now..UserCP...I cann add any link....we just didn't get to it yet.


Also added Your Subscriptions in the dropdown...
