If this is the resveratrol product, smart frickin' name.

One of the better names out there IMHO if this is what I think it is.

I am beginning to suspect Jacob of being the man behind such items as Nintendo Wii, PS3, and Tickle Me Elmo Extreme. All this suspense!

Next on USP's list of supplements to produce: Something to counteract the anxiety caused by waiting on product release.

Besides the myriad of Plus effects, Resveratrol acts as a SERM (in a more recent paper) so increased testosterone is one.

THe slogan is "Lift Longer Live Longer"

O, I do not play video games but will not buy a Zune because Microsoft copied Apple. I beginning to understand that a Successful business is a template for others.

how do you figure they COPIED them?

just because they created an MP3 player that has a video screen and is capable of video and pictures as well as radio and songs? There are many companies that make similar devices.

Saying microsoft copied apple is like saying USP copied anabolic xtreme just because we are in the same business and we both make supplements.

I'm not trying to argue, i jsut don't see the validity in a COPY! syntrax making hyper h is a copy of xfactor. but just because microsoft finally releases an mp3 player doesn't mean it is a copy.

Plus the fact that microsoft's produc tis not proprietary and will work with many different systems and interfaces unlike the iPOD which will only work with Apple's special software and iTunes.

I deal wiht Technology everyday of my life and i hate microsoft jsut as mucha s the next guy, but i refuse to say they copied apple!

please correct me if i am wrong!

and now that i have hijacked your thread, maybe a mod can move these last few posts to a different discussion. I am sorry, jacob!

I initially thought that was a typo or something, suspected a surplus of AP... but damn, another product!?!?!

Man... USPLabs is sick. I wish I could like, get sponsored by Jacob. Too bad I suck too much to compete... one day though LOL

Dumb of me to think that microsoft noticed the concept of the IPOD was taking over popular culture (Pictures, video, and MP3 which could be considered a blend in our industry).

This was an obvious Hack Job by Microsoft.

The new Microsoft Windows is apparently a big-time copy of Mac OS Tiger, or maybe it's the "in the works" OS Panther. One of the two, I hear they aren't doing a very good job of it either...*hugs Macbook*

Actually, many people feel that Gates pirated the idea for a graphics based operating system from Steve Jobs, who had contracted Gates to be a third-party software developer on the Mac 1.

In terms of Microsoft copying Apple in that department, Apple filed a provisional patent in 2001 for the iPOD, though it was one of several companies working on such projects. Microsoft did not file a full patent on such a product until mid-2002. The specific software interfaces that the iPOD uses however, were developed by Apple far, far, far before Microsoft.

So many great topics in just one thread!!!

Microsoft has tried to **** over Apple since the invention of windows :)

And I expect SirPlus is on its way to me as I type this :P

alright I cant resist the apple windows topic. Well windows sucks, that about sums it up. Yea and the knew windows OS coming out is definitely a huge copy. Funny thing is microsoft makes such a big deal out of many of their features, like instant searches and such when apple has had this in their OS for a long time now. I can't wait for microsoft to start really losing customers. The question is, once that does happen, will apple still be as innovating as it was when it was the small company and needed to be in able to survive, or will they become a company they doesnt bust their butt to get the OS out in time and copies other companies as well.

PS: Im interested in the new product as well.

Not to stir the pot.. but if thats the case... then IRiver should be considered the original. Not Apple. They were doing MP3 and Video long before either.

No doubt on the serm, however that wasn't my question. But as to the answer that said"we don't know yet" thank you that was all I asked.

In the History of supplementation, I probably could never replicate something as bueatiful as AP. AP is a new category. AP is one in a billion!

Cissus is very special and PowerFULL is good.

Resveratrol has a very special place in the USPlabs family with its sirPlus of POSITIVE side effects.

lol i get that part, but was lost on the "Resveratrol has a very special place in the USPlabs family with its sirPlus" So I'm guessing Resveratrol is indeed sirPlus?

With 2 other ingredients:}

Resveratrol is pretty much THE active in red wine that gives it (red wine) it's myriad of health benefits.
(There are a few other molecules from what I remember - but they aren't nearly as big - from what we know right now, that could change with more research though.)

Awesome idea USP! I've been looking for a res. product for a while now (I don't drink).

Guys, do a pubmed search on Sir2 or SIRT1 and/or resveratrol.

For the lazy:

Sir2 is a family of conserved enzymes, found in pretty much all organisms, including prokaryotes. Sirt1 is the mammalian analogue we are concerned with. Increased expression of the Sir2 family of enzymes is linked with longetivity found from calorie restriction diets.

Resveratrol is a small polyphenolic compound found in red wine that activates the Sir2 family of enzymes. Remember, more enzyme = longer lifespan.

Sir2 activation also decreases ppar-gamma expression (fat storage) and inflammation (decreases tumor necrosis factor alpha).

One study that I also found, which I dont like, is that Sir2 inhibition is linked with increased androgen receptor density; however, as I am not privey to the full study details, I dont know if they tested the inverse of their conclusion. What I mean is, they report that inhibiting Sir2 is linked with increased AR density, but they do not say that stimulating Sir2 is linked with a decrease in AR density; it may have no impact on AR density at all. They do mention that SIRT1 (the sirtuin we are interested in) deacetylates the AR, so it is possible that an increase in SIRT1 will reduce overall AR expression.

Invalid Link Removed is the study.

Hopefully med schools take me and I wont need an immediate job :)

And hell, I'll take some free product (even though it isnt necessary), cuz who doesnt want to live longer? I already have bought, and love, cAMP/Cissus, and yellow gold. Got 2 AP on the way to test...I'll be doing before/after blood glucose testing with AP as well, hopefully you'll be able to use some of the data for marketing.
