Awesome.
Even though I'm a die-hard metal-head, there's still some very non-metal music that I can enjoy.
All kidding and jesting aside, I really like this song:
And do you feel scared?
I do. But I won't stop and falter.
And if we throw it all away,
Things can only get better.
Have any of you read Faust?
I know it's a play, but so was Hamlet and I thought that story was great.
how about carlos casteneda? some strange shiit!!!:yup:
herman hesse too.
I've heard of Hesse, any of their works that stand out among the crowd?

About 2 years ago when I attempted to do that "cardio" thing, I'd take my LG Dare, plug in my earphones, and use it to watch some TV shows while on the treadmill. It definitely passed the time! Unfortunately, when I'd lay it on the 'mill itself, my phone would fry the dang machine. It'd freeze mid-stride and I'd almost trip! No clue what my Droid would do, but I'm assuming that it'd somehow turn the treadmill into a drooling monster that would eat children and drink antifreeze slushies. So, I just stopped doing cardio. Problem solved.Once my wife bought me the nook color, I got back into reading. its nice for doing cardio.
I don't always get media coverage, but when I do...I remember seeing that on CNN.
you drew a picture of Andre the giant eating one of them, but then he didn't like the taste of it so he ate one of his bro's, all on MS Paint?
It's Wednesday.
Picking up a bench w/ 300lb weight and bar tomorrow after work, best 150 I've spent.
I heard that Study is looking at apartments...maybe he'll share his adventure from today with us. :yup:

Welp, time to take care of the car this weekend. Inspection is due in May and it needs a few things. Boy how they add up, especially when you're on a budget and don't want to dump money into a car! 2 new tires - $300. Oy... I miss being able to buy a decent tire for like $75. Today, oil change. K&N filter ordered from Advanced. Got $20 off the price online using a code I saw on a Google Ad!! $20 off a $50 order - ES123. Nice...
Spreadin' the word, too... Don't buy Hankook Optimo tires. 60K tire and they went maybe 30K. One was so bad that the entire middle of it was COMPLETELY bald. (I slightly overinflate.) It had 2 rain rooves left, but everything else was slick. But, on the brighter side, I finally got rid of that annoying WOOO-WOOOO-WOOOO sound at different speeds!![]()
It actually says in manual to the car that if you are running a "load" - basically more than just the driver - then put more air in. Same thing with the rear tire on the bike, different loads different air pressure. With gas prices, who woudnt over inflate a bit?

All in all, I can't complain about the mileage in it. 2001 Saab and I'm getting about 35-37mpg highway. Engine is a 3.0L V6 (turbo), about 75K on it, and I thought it'd be a lot more thirsty than that, especially for a heavy car (5500lbs). If I run it harder, it goes into sporty mode and gets 27mpg highway, but in fuel economy mode, 37 is about it. Not bad at all!
Sadly, I'm noticing a drop in economy with the bike this year. I used to get consistent 37-40 out of it (1552cc) and am now getting 32-35. No difference in habits, just more ethanol in the fuel this year. Ugh...
Hola, Bob! It's been ages. Cool thread.
Gentlemen, I will be uploading pictures of the dungeon this evening. :firedevil:

Don't forget to decorate the dungeon with some swords on the wall and stuff like that.
Gotta set the mood......:firedevil:
I have swords, daggers and battle axes on the temple walls. Creates a nice battle atmosphere. :yup:
Or pics of old school Arnold surrounded by hot chicks, swords, etc..or pics of hot chicks

I respectfully disagree with the aforementioned themes.
I think a Harry Potter theme is where it's at. What better motivation to train for your next quidditch match than posters of Gryffindor's star player?
