SilentBob's (no-drama) chatroom

I hate to change the topic from gluttony to training, but does anyone have any experience with this:

I need a new one and this sounds like a great addition to my PVC.

That does look nice. I ought to be smart and get one.

Just cause.

Thank goodness someone brought the eye bleach after that liqui-fail man.

A little Italian metal goddess to start out an otherwise bland Friday?

This one's a tad monotone and somewhat monotonous in the repitition, but I'd mosh to it! :head:

Since I'm stuck in Detroit over the weekend, I'm at least going to have a little fun. Got tickets for Dave Attell at a comedy club tonight, going to the Ford museum Sat or Sun.

NICE!! Have fun, man. Dave Attell = WIN!

HEY-OOOOOOOH!!!

What's up bishes!?

Just got home from work about an hour ago and had me some Fire Tuna w/ Blair's Sudden Death. I'm like Miami Vice up in this thread, the heat is on suckas!! :firedevil:

So what happened between yesterday and now? Anyone doing anything crazy for an hour longer than normal tonight? Crossing time zones for 2 hours of partying?

Blair's Sudden Death? Hell yeah! I fill a little container with that stuff and dip my chicken in it. Everyone thinks I'm crazy.

I already went out 4 nights this week. Think I'm staying in tonight.

That sounds awesome!

I always want to bring some with me but I always forget. I once saw this big lady that had a bottle of salad dressing in her purse...I just thought that was gross. It wasn't like the place didn't have ranch dressing, she just never left home without it.

nothing exciting last night. i'm debating having breakfast as my cheat meal, theres one of these

to freeze my testicles off walking around all day. Had thought about the museum instead, but the villiage sounds cool and I always liked historical reenactment villages

Well that's a no-brainer. All you can eat pancakes at IHOP. Can you top 19? Have fun at the reenactment village, I've never been to one. Are they fun? It's 42°F here in NC this morning. I can only imagine how cold it is in Detroit.

I went to my first ever horror/paranormal movie convention yesterday. Everybody spazzed out on me at the last second, so ended up going solo. It was a blast though, I highly recommend to anybody that likes action/scifi movies to check one of these things out. I got to meet George A Romero, Danny Trejo, Kane Hodder (Jason Vorhees bitches), and Danielle Harris (the chick from the Halloween movies, good god she is HOT). Well worth the $20 for entrance......

Well, when I'm traveling, I always try. to way places I can't eat at home, so The Original Pancake house it is.

Reenactment villages are interesting, gives you a real glimpse into what it was like to live in that time period. And its just about hitting 40 now, might make a little over 50 later.

Danielle Harris

I think taking 4 glycobol before this cheat breakfast may have been too much. Starting to feel hypoglycemic and the food hasn't made it to the table yet.

I was never a big fan of The Original Pancake House. Tried them when I was living in Cincinnati, I thought it similar to a Waffle House. Nothing wrong with Waffle House, just not impressed with the setting or the food.

4 glycobol!! Dammmmmn. It's all about timing with those things E (more so with 4). Tell them to bring you a orange juice.

Speaking of Danny Trejo he plays Raul the Ghoul in New Vegas. But I won't turn this into a game thread like that other one.

I'll have to keep an eye out for a convention like that coming to town. Sounds like something where I would have a lot of fun. Did you ask GA Romero why he made his Zombies run whereas before him zombies were slow as Sleestaks? I'm just curious as to why drove him in that direction...and I'm too lazy to Google before work.

In that case, that one on the homepage looked amazing. If it were me, I'd get that Apple Pancake on the mainpage and their Corned Beef Hash. F- man, I just ate but I really want to try that pancake...and the Dutch Baby (no relation to Dutch Oven, although bakked in oven,)

Nope, didn't get a chance to ask him that. Nor talk to him too much, he had the longest waiting line for anyone else there. He likes to symbolize contemporary culture with his flicks so I'm sure the zombie speed had to deal with some sort of sociological phenomenon that he wanted to express. The dude was super nice though, and sat in his damn chair from 9am to 8pm talking to fans.

Speaking of zombies, anyone waiting to watch the second episode of The Walking Dead tonight on AMC?

Heck yeah man! Last week's 90 minute premiere was amazing. It was enough time to really be able to connect with the character instead of rolling credits before you can really establish that connection. I was hoping it was going to be really good, and for once I was not disappointed. Tonight's episode is entitled 'Guts.'

Yep, I think this is going to be a good show. Frank Darabont really out done himself this time.

So did we ever hear back from Easy? Did he have a hypoglycemic event?

WHERE YOU AT EASY?! Are you okay? How was that pancake? How was the village? Did you go M. Night Shama-lama-ding-dong on em in a red hoodie? Inquiring minds must now!

The village was cool. When I get back to my room (about to stuff down a postworkout 20 oz tbone) i'll post a video of my favorite part :)

Easy Ghostridin' Ford's Model T? YEAH!!!! :You_Rock_Emoticon:

ok here it is, ignore my lame voice

this was on a lathe from 1917, driven by a pulley/belt system from a rod spinning up at the ceiling

Oh man, I love lathe...and lamp. Did he say how often they have to replace those dies they use? For instance, how many candleholders could they produce before replacing that die?

no, he didn't know, and he also didn't know how they manufactured the die either. pity. the whole machine shop is fully operational as it was in 1917 though, they use it to make parts for all the other machines on display in the whole viliage. Really well worth seeing if you are ever stuck in detroit over a weekend while on a 10 day business trip :D

You guys getting in the holiday spirit yet?

No, I'm boycotting Christmas. Not my favorite holiday. I'm a scrooge. :head:
