Running after leg day, sounds like a good idea to me! Wrong. My legs already felt like they were gonna fall off, I doubt they'll feel better tomorrow. Gonna end this log tomorrow on a chest day, very nice.

Narrative:
Had a pretty powerful chest day today. After my lift I went to do some cardio on the elliptical. After ONLY 2 minutes I had a knot so bad in my right thigh that I couldn't walk without limping and feeling a very sharp pain. Pissed off and not one to quit (when I can help it,) I grabbed a foam roller and spent a good 5 minutes rolling that little nasty out. Afterward, I got back on the elliptical and did another 10 minutes of cardio. That's how I roll!

Well 2 months of Cre-02 and Cordygen 5 have come to an end. I'll try to put up a detailed review tomorrow. I've got a bit of a BONUS ROUND coming up too. I had more than half a bottle of Cordygen 5 of my own prior to starting this log, so I'll finish up that bottle as a way to further gauge my endurance prospects. My new mini-goal is to get close to the coveted 6 minute mile. I know that with a more focused approach I can achieve this.

Diet:
Slipped a little today for the first time in a little while. Had a grilled sandwich on a white bun w/ fries. Other than that it was a lot of oatmeal, some whey, a ribeye, and a bar. Not too terrible.

Narrative:
Lat Destruction. I know I said I'd have a review up for Cre-02 and Cordygen5 and once I get a moment of peace to myself, I'll do that. I had a semi-day off today but I didn't have a minute to myself. Running errands and whatnot and 3 measly hours at work. And I'll go ahead and say that it was a bad 3 hours. Canes lost 4-1. I can't find my SAT score. Fantastic.

No ladies, no music. I need some sleep.

199g carbs (34g fiber, 20g sugar)
73g fat (25g poly, 12g mono, 14g sat)

Narrative:
Holy crap leg day! To give you an idea of how brutal it was, after a meeting this afternoon, I couldn't stand up straight. No, not my lower back. My quads starting to cramp up hardcore! I stretched after my workout so I thought all was well. I guess not. I had to waddle over to some massage balls that we have at work and spent about 5 minutes rubbing it out (insert joke here you damn sickos,) the cramp that is. I thought I ate more today, I ran it through my had a few times, and I keep coming up with the same amounts. Oh well, I'm trying to drop weight anyway. With the protein at ~200 I should at least retain the lean.

Final Review

I'd like to thank Chuck and Matt and the whole crew at MST for giving me the chance to try out their products. In two months time I've moved from a power lifing style and a bulking diet to more of a recomp workout with a caloric intake right around my maintenance level. I've dropped about 10 pounds since the beginning of this log. 204lb to 194lb. I would like to think that with a high protein diet (~200g/day,) and lifting every other day for about an hour, I've been able to retain most of my muscle mass. Now on to the finer points of this review:

Endurance is great on Cordygen5. I transitioned from Sheiko to a 4x5 to a 4x8 routine with ease. There were ups and downs in this log but all of the downs were due to my uncanny ability to find new ways to destroy my recovery. From my attempt at CopyCat's 100 pullups contest, a bad day with the wheel of death, and most recently high rep calf raises; anything that has affected my lifting was not due to a lack of gas in the tank, or endurance.

This is one of the greatest benefits of Cordygen5 and Cre-02. I never felt like I was out of breath. When running, I felt like I could go on forever, even after not running for 9 weeks. The only problem I had with running was lactic acid. Even with the Rhodiola in Cre-02, I think I would have benefited from more consistent BCAA and Beta-Alanine supplementation

A good way to measure strength is using a total body workout, like squats. My most recent squat outting was 225x4x8. I would say that being able to complete 4 sets of 8 full, clean reps at 225 says to me that my strength is still high. It's no doubt gone down a little due to the shift in lifting styles, but it's by no means a substantial drop. I'd like to think that Cre-02 has played a significant role in me maintaining my strength.

Summation of Cordygen5:

Bottom line, if you're looking to run further, decrease time between sets, and don't want to feel like you're gasping for air after a tough set, Cordygen5 is a good choice for you.

Summation of Cre-02:

With all the different types of creatine available, it's sometimes difficult to know which one is right for you. Cre-02 is not only a creatine supplement, it also contains cultured Cordyceps Sinensis Hybrid strain which "allows for rapid aerobic, anaerobic and ATP recovery." It also contains Rhodiola and other adaptogens for additional endurance support.

great review buddy...thank you so much for running a very solid log for us, and I hope you'll enjoy these products for a long time :)

way to rap it up man! Nice log!
