SHIFT PEScience

Thanks man. I have been thinking this...but with it recommending empty stomach I've been holding back....haha. Will see what she wants to do.

Empty stomach recommendation is for the synephrine to kick in to allow for decreased appetite (from Cooper)

Thanks KB. Maybe I will hold off until my Alphamine is done as I don't have a second tub of that. Although taking it once a day it will last two months. I will give TA2 once I am done.

Thanks for the links. Was looking through them and I am not sure if what I am currently taking will be too much and the timing based on my day in a life for working out.

Here is what I have and how I currently use it and how my day goes. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Wake up take Alphamine, Norco and Shift (soon to add Target A2) on empty stomach. Eat breakfast about 30-45 minutes later (select protein with creatine, amino iv, cacao, CLA, fish oil, Vemma (vitamin), left over raspberry ketones along with some coffee bean hydrocut (until I run out - should I get more?) and EP in 2 cups skim milk blended) then off to work.
Two hours later have some almonds for snack. Then lunch about two hours later (second batch of fish oil, CLA, Rasp KT, Coffee bean). 5-6 hours after breakfast have second does of Norco and Shift.
4:00 take my HV on my way to the gym. MTW work out days (MW - HIIT post training) Post work out have some amino iv and select protein with second does of EP.
Some sort of dinner and done for the day.

Sorry not written in the best format, but you can see my routine and how I have planned it out (right or wrong). It is just how I have been able to make into my daily life. Have a family I have to cook for and eat along with, so harder to stay as clean as I would like, but I certainly try my best without having my wife and/or kids asking daddy why don't you anything but chicken

Thoughts and comments welcome knowing there is no totally one best way and each person is different, but your opinions help. Thanks

If you're dosing Alphamine and Norcodrene together, I wouldn't add in Target-A2 with the combo.

If you wanted, you could either save the Target-A2 for another run, or throw in a cap with your second dose of Norcodrene and Shift.

That would work. Go with Alphamine for now and then Target-A2 the end of Alphamine.

Stubborn fat areas, such as the "love handles" and lower abdominals, have a high density of alpha-2-adrenergic receptors, which makes the breakdown of fat more difficult in those areas. Target-A2 can inhibit the action of the a2 receptor, helping free up fatty acids to be used as fuel. A good way to attack the love handles would be taking Target-A2 before fasted cardio.
Summarized perfectly.

I have been using PEScience Shift for almost 3 weeks; while I am not entirely certain, I believe shift is making feel lethargic/increasing my sleep duration. Is this possible?

It's most likely from cutting

As mentioned I believe it probably has more to do with the process of cutting in general. Especially if you have cut carbs significantly. I know often times the first week or two of my cuts I end up feeling pretty lethargic. After my body adjusts to the lowered caloric and carb intake I tend to start feeling a boost in energy rather than feeling like I'm dragging ass. Hopefully you will start to find your groove brother.

I mixed l-carnitine with shift , bad move won't do that again

I take it as a pre WO and sometime I train fasted after 1h I took shift and I never had any issue, what happened to you?

Try maybe taking it with some food? Dunno just guessing, initially when I first started taking forsk 95 it was messing me up then slowly trying with food and then slowly removing the food it worked, it worked for me dunno I'm just trying to help

I tried it for two weeks, one cap pre-workout on empty stomach...my stomach didn't adjust at all to the F-95.

I have stopped taking it...I now have 6 bottles of it and not sure what to do with them.

Did you try any times with food or at a later time in the day not completely fasted?

I haven't tried it with food seeing as I figured I should take it prior to workout which I do on empty stomach (BCAA with HBCD).

I have used ABE with food and no major issues after a week or so.

Ya ideally you would be able to take it how you've been trying to. I would suggest trying it at another time of day and seeing if it bothers you there. Then maybe trying it again in the pre-workout window. Again, sorry you are having some difficulty dosing it prior to workouts currently.

Damn i must be blessed. Ive taken shift on empty stomach with alphamine and 1-2 grams of alcar, then in the same day have also taken f95 with ergonine. No issues at all. I can only remeber one time f95 got me and it was when i took 75-100 at once preworkout on empty stomach.

Call me Deus, the god of butt thunder. Forskolin, (even Forslean) makes me **** liquid thunderbolts. At least I know Shift has the real deal, since I'm currently imbued with the aforementioned Godly powers. On a less disgusting note, I'm officially leaner than I've ever been, and I still have 1/4 of the bottle to go. Shift has been powerful enough to stave off the increased hunger from the PA I began recently. I will never cut again without it.

Great feedback brother. I got a good chuckle out of this as well haha!

I should be getting my shift soon !I'm going to stack it with alphamine. Can't wait to see how it goes!

That is a very popular stack bro. Would love to hear some feedback on how well it treats you.

Good to know you love the effects. :)

For what it's worth, the first time I ever used forskolin it really upset my stomach so I went back to one capsule for a few days before increasing the dose.

This minimised GI distress and I have IBD so my GI system is likely more sensitive than most lol.

That is one reason why I like to know how you react to the products. With your history of GI distress it gives us great feedback to help potential customers that may be afraid of issues of this sort.

Just curious benji have you used the new shift yet?

Not yet. It should be with me soon. :)

Been on shift for 2 days now. Controlling my appetite on my mega-dosed PA run is much easier right now.

its my 3rd week today, actually yesterday, and I feel good, I have notice that even on days where I had my cheat meal, no side effect then :) great stuff and also I look bigger than before! leaner and bigger especially on the arms, probably the rock solid effect is coming from the forskolin :)

I've heard the appetite stimulant of properties of PA can be potent for some. Glad Shift is mitigating that! Combining with any other products?

Right now, it's just:
SNS Caffeine
PES Shift
Fearn Soy Lechitin Granules (4tbsp)

Doing the 5/2 diet (which is basically a slow cut, I guess)

Gotcha. Yeah the shift + caffeine should aid with appetite. Or just shift alone. Never eat of the 5/2 diet. Basically 5 days in a deficit with 2 days in a surplus?

It's the opposite. 5 days maintenance, 2 days set at 800 calories.

F that lol

It's probably one of the best ways for me to cut. A constant deficit is so hard for me to maintain (admittedly, my discipline seems to suck because all of my friends are foodies and are always rubbing it in my face) so saving the "pain" for two days of the week really helps me out. But yeah, the two 800 calorie days are hell.

Fun note: I am actually doing my 800 calorie day right now, and Shift has seemed to really help me out mood-wise.

Glad to hear Shift is helping in some way then.

Do you go by a daily caloric intake and/or do you try to hit a weekly caloric intake?

Well my maintenance is 2800, and dropping it down to 800 gives me about a pound of loss per week. I do track daily macros, but it's been calculated long term for weight loss.

Your daily maintenance is 2800 so you are dropping to 800?

2000 calorie deficit per day?

No, as stated above, 2800 on 5 days, 800 on two days. It's just a manageable way for me to achieve a deficit without feeling crazy all the time (I'm always very hungry, and weak minded haha). It's covered on a t-nation article, but based off a diet that had studies behind it. It comes to around a 4000 deficit per week, which is 1 lb which is what most say is "safe".

Shift has been more effective for me than Alphamine. It could just be all the Forskolin (first time using Forskolin) in Shift + ABE, but whatever it is, I'm ahead of schedule for my summer cut and I'm sure it has been the Shift, bc I have changed nothing else in terms of training + diet.

Nice to hear that feedback. Let us know how it goes as you continue.

I replied on my phone and don't think I was on the last page of the thread because I missed those replies.

It makes sense now. For a moment I thought you were doing 800 calories per day consistently lol.

Awesome to hear. I hope the shredding continues. :)
