Thanks gents. Yeah, again I figure the nut butters are the least of my worries diet wise. But, I suppose I do eat PB daily, so it's worth a think.
I think your treats you made are probably a healthier alternatives to the artisanal cookies you like tbh. but I don't think either one in moderation is going to be the leading contributor to your untimely death. I don't think peanut butter is bad at all in moderation, but I tend to reach for avocados for my healthy fats because I find them more satiating. I just simply do not feel full easily and I could probably sit and eat a whole jar of peanut butter if I wanted to lol.

The avocado is going to probably have more fat in a whole 'cado vs a legit serving of PB, but like 5-6x more fiber which is probably why it works better for me. also, sticking to 1 serving of PB would be murderous for me, I'm better off not even smelling it lol

Arm veins made a showing today! Starting to get lean enough that certain body parts are showing it. Midsection still has a ways to go though.

dude IDC who you are, bodyweight stuff like dips and pull-ups are hard. lol
gotta love how the dips feel like the perfect finisher to a chest/tricep day though, they just get everything from the waist up imo.

I'm pretty light these days, so I guess that has some advantages, but volume is fairly high.

Push ups even more so, as they get into the high teens reps per set!

How do you like the RP APP?
Scrolled back and saw you are running the Black Adam template. I modified it a bit for what I have equipment wise and really liked it. That and SUPERMAN were good templates

PB (without meaningful added sugar) is not going to contribute to atherosclerosis. Not unless you overeat it to the extent you become diabetic anyway, which you could achieve with any calorie source. But that particular saturated fat is not an unhealthy source - your wife hasn’t been correctly educated on that matter (despite her very wise intent to mind what you consume).

For me, I always tare the jar and check grams removed when not trying to gain weight. I put the lid on & shelve it before I eat so I will not be tempted to take more. And it usually really scratches a sweet tooth & helps stick to my ribs when hungry. But my wife has had to be careful not to keep going back to the jar; one prep she nearly blew because as she got hungrier she just kept getting a serving - 4 servings of PB is about 800 calories! Can’t get lean overeating.

Same here…taring the scale for everything I eat basically now. Natty PB though just creates the “fiendish” feeling, so I don’t eat it at all anymore.

I'm the same way. Admittedly though I do get a pretty good satisfaction for that PB craving from the much lower fat PB powders mixed into something or even just made into a little lower fat dip for crackers or something like that.

Can’t even have PB in the house!!! Love PB!!! As a joke I got 6lbs for Xmas from a friend. It lasted 10 days. No bread, just a spoon. I was eating between 750 and 1000 cals at night from PB alone. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. 🤣🤙.

I was eating between 7 and 10 tblsp before bed for “cravings”. So good. Melted on a bagel or toast is nice. And if you mix it w Fluffernutter it’s BARELY street legal

OMG, PTSD right here. I remember being a kid around age 9-11 when my folks took us out to newport oregon for a family beach vacation. I had some sort of peanut butter jelly sandwich at a restaurant with generous servings of butter on the bread. Me being pre-teen and not knowing **** about nutrition realized this is the most delicious pb&j in the world and for a few years made sure to pre butter my bread before adding pb and J lol 😂 😂

Looking back I'm really lucky that I wrestled and raced BMX in my teen years because those two sports made me nutritionally aware and vain, otherwise I'd easily be 340lbs today lol

Yeah, I am enjoying it. Probably about my 3rd or 4th bottle at this point?

Only recently started adding ALCAR caps on top.

I may take a break soon though, as it does cause a body odor at higher doses (carnitine in general, not specific go XPG).
 
yikes I haven't noticed the odor yet lol. but I agree and love the product. I do feel like I have better results when I take it a little bit further from my session than immediately preWO but thats just me.
 
No workout Thursday as planned. Friday was supposed to WO in the AM, but daughter was up a lot in the night. Did end up doing 29 mins of cardio in the evening.

Picked up some supplements from iHerb. Was able to find the same formulas being recommended by Marek, but cheaper. Will likely still go with them for rx meds, but anyways I'll be starting up the micronized DHEA+pregnenolone & thyroid complex. Also, anyone use ReviveMD supps? Their fish oil looks good for EPA/DHA content, which is another area for my to improve still.

Going to have some loose skin / sub-Q fat issues still even when I hit my goal weight. But we're still consistently working! I almost look like I lift.

That Pregnenolone is probably going to fire up your workouts a little bit. Some guys use it before bed, but that would wire me.

Interesting - my plan is 2 caps, so 50mg pregnenolone/25mg DHEA pre-WO in the AM. Would be great if it did give me a boost! Will probably start up Tuesday.
 
Those compounds are probably the most potent components of the old Diesel Test Hardcore product. You will notice something, positive or otherwise, adding that in.
 
As mentioned in @GreenMachineX log, I feel like my body is having a harder time recovering lately. Combination of low calories while cutting, plus the high volume work prescribed in this meso template. The body comp is coming along fairly well, but will need to come up with some longer term solution for overall energy levels and muscle fatigue.

Finished up Day 1 of this week / Start of Day 2.

Well, to be fair it might just be that I'm still just carrying too much fat at this point. But when I pull in my waist it's still visible folds around my midsection. Hence no photos of that!

In total from my heaviest weight all time while bulking I was 186#, and am currently cutting down and at 157.4# so down almost -29# in total all time - still aiming to hit 150# with abs though - which matches my all time low since I began lifting / while here on AM. There's a photo in this log somewhere of me while participating in the Redcon1 trials where I was basically my leanest.

But if looking just across last year I peaked at 172#, so a difference of -14.6# in recent memory.
Those sessions always test fortitude!

Have to ask myself, how bad do I want this? Am I willing to do what others won't?

Cardio can be the key, I think you are similar to my work type in the winter I sit at this desk all day and don’t get **** for steps. So I have to keep up with it other wise I’m barely getting to 5k steps in a day.

last pic you posted shows vascularity and tightness in the arms, chest, delts, and traps. You don't have to be 2% stage ready to be above the 99% of society. and when you're 8% you'll likely still have dysmorphia and think you're fat. I had to get down probably below that level ( I never measured lower than 8.6% but continued to lean up) before I ever felt lean enough, and I'm talking like 168-172lbs, (bare in mind you and I have different heights/frames so 168 for me is another 24lbs lower than I am now) training 2hrs a day, eating clean 8 days a week before I ever thought I was "there". and maintaining it required crazy disicpline + 2hr training sessions 6 or more days a week....

long story short, I think you're doing fine. just lift hard, keep up the good work, and from time to time enjoy the progress you've built over a lifetime.

and now days when I look back on those pictures of how lean I was, my abs were dynamite but I'm like holyshit my face looks like a gaunt ass tweaker.

100% and in winter it's definitely harder since in the summer I'd go on a short walk in the neighborhood during lunch or something. But with the ice and cold weather I don't do that.

Yeah, I'm still not lean enough where I don't have midsection spill over. I probably similarly would need to get down around 12% at least. So still a ways to go. So there is similarly the fat like the picture above, but also that wrinkly appearance to my skin around my waist when I pull in my sides for a front lat spread as example. Hoping that'll go away if I can keep getting leaner!

While my goal is 150#, I probably would need to get down to 140 or so to look "competitive". But mentally I'm not sure I could ever let myself get that low on the scale, I feel super small right now at 156.6# (yesterday's weigh in)...

Still haven't decided what to do next to accelerate/optimize fat loss, but it might be EC stack. I have 25mg ephedrine tabs, plus 200 mg caffeine tabs that I could run for 24 days or even titrate up the first week and have it extend to a full month. Honestly the TDs are wearing on me, so I may pause the Napalm Xtreme soon. Probably have half to 1/3 of a bottle left.

12% seems like an optimal scenario. Renpho says I'm at 16% right now. which doesn't mean anythign cause we know they aren't accurate, but using those numbers I figured I'd have to get to 184.5 if I lost zero lean mass and only fat to hit about 12%. that's 7 more lbs and seems doable. I agree with you12% seems like a solid place to be. sure 10% is the holy grail for abs etc but for trained athletes honestly you see abs much sooner than 10%. they're more developed, stronger/bigger and push through the fat. whether I'm 14% or 18% I don't know but the further away the mirror is the better my abs look right now and I know i"m not anywhere near 10%.
