Not sure what's wrong this morning, but tried Incline Bench rest-pauses and had major issues. On second set, felt like my abs were over strained and had to stop at 7 reps. Added a belt. Went for third set and had a splitting headache at 5 reps. Had to stop again. Not muscular failure, but may have been BP issues. Took 0.5 scoop of Neurosurge (caffeine + nootropics) with 2 caps IGNIT3, so maybe that was it. Ugh.

We'll see how the rest goes, will have to take it lighter.

Dang man hope it passes. Do you monitor your BP?
Thanks fellas, issue stopped when I stopped working out... Fancy that. Anyways, I pushed through but went lighter on weights / intensity so as not to do any damage. I think it was just the combo.

I don't monitor my BP, but thinking maybe I should as I start to get older...

A wrist cuff monitor is a low cost handy investment.
This! BP spikes while lifting is normal but if you are having these issues, you need to check the BP.

Well, today all was back to normal. Finished up IGNIT3 yesterday. I think its just that alpha-y messes with me. Today went basic with supps: 2 scoops Conqu3r Unleashed pre, 2 scoops Endur3+ intra, 1 scoop Isomorph post.

Weight: 163#, down 2 lbs since last week. I think dropping cals lower and tracking is helping.

Started Clear Muscle today. Awesome looking liquicaps. I know it's pure marketing, but it sure is pretty. 2 caps pre, 2 mid morning, 2 evening.

Well, honestly I may have been expecting too much given some of the other reviews on here. Admittedly I did not eat as clean as I should've, and as mentioned, I spilled some so only got a 3 week run out of it. Weight stayed the same throughout though. Not sure on body comp.

Well, funny thing is earlier in the week I had a killer workout with it. Right now I'm switching between Mesomorph and DVST8 White Cut. So DMAA very DMHA. Right now DVST8 is winning out.

Been experiencing a large crash in the late afternoon lately. Not surprising given the heavy amount of DMAA I'm taking in 4x a week. May need to wean myself down in a bit again. Probably going to go for another week or so then reassess my plans (workout, diet, supps) again.

Other thing I've noticed lately is too many stims makes me cranky. I'm a bit of a jerk and have less patience I think on my high stim days. Maybe I just think people should be quicker like me, haha.

Lol. I'm the same. Adding TRT in the mix gives me a bit of an alpha feeling- the result is very low tolerance for freakin stupidity! See what I mean! Lol

Switching up routine again. First off, Ive been bad lately with drinking too much beer. Not going to cut it out, but I need to do more moderation.

Second, back to a bodybuilding split. I'm going to work on progressive weights and adding some sets to failure. I know what to do, I just need to do it. No more excuses.

Goal is still to cut down and I have a few supps I'll start next week to assist, along with better diet tracking. Just because winter is coming doesn't mean it's time to balloon up.

I need to set some goals to work towards too. Not sure what yet. There's an obstacle course race in Oct I may target. Guess I need to ask myself, if not now, when?

Single arm BB row x45 x 10,10,6 per side - tried mixing up my grips, but couldn't get the right feel. Ended with a set of T bar Rows on the 45x20 just to get in an extra pump.

DB Pullovers x 20 x 10,10 threw in a set here trying to stretch my lats to help in that overhead Abs pose. Not exactly what I was looking for, but couldn't come up with a good overhead lat movement. So if anyone has one...

Squats, close stance +70x10,10,10- wanted to try a different stance to target quads today. Went light to get the movement down. My left hip flexor is very tight and was acting up today. Has been affecting running and squatting. Will need to stretch out good today.
Leg ext x 110#
Seated leg curls x 75# - went light on these today too, as hammies are a weak point. Sat back in the chair a bit more than normal, focusing on slow contractions for reps.
Leg press calves x 210#
Barbell Hip Thrusts - still not sure how I feel about this movement. Aside from looking ridiculous when doing it, I'm not sure I've bought in completely yet, but I'm going to keep working it into my routine for the time being.

If you strained it, I wouldn't stretch it too much. Ace wrap that bad boy lol. Hip Thrusts arent bad but I have the whole setup and getting comfortable with them to be extremely over the top in terms of just hanging from the Smith machine and bending up one leg and extending another and driving through with my glutes. I do them as an activation/ rehab movement and Ive really seen a good carryover to my lower body movements.

Nah, it just gets tight. I feel in general pending which part, I have slightly different sides which either the joint or muscle, maybe tendon, are tighter. So left hip flexor and left shoulder joint are tight.

Thinking about splitting my pre-workout dose in half on heavy Cardio days. I find I get through my weight workout halfway and then start to lose focus. 30+ mins Cardio first really uses up the gas in the tank...

Will be trying out Dexamine/Thyrotwin combo though next week, so we'll see how that works out for me.

Focusing on fat loss. Ended Clear Muscle today, starting a new stack:

1 cap Dexamine
1 cap Thyrotwin
1 scoop Conqu3r DGE Stim-free
2 scoops ENDUR3 + 1 scoop WMS intra

Thought dexamine was going to hit harder this morning, but it didn't. So now that I'm using this in place of a stimmed pre, I may bump to 2 caps. But I think I'll ride out this week at 1 cap and adjust from there.

Forgot how gritty DGE tastes. Lol. Flavoring has come a long way at OL.

Went for a run yesterday after seeing so many people I know participating in 5ks or half marathons. That plus the Olympia coverage has me motivated like crazy again.

After my first day on 1 cap of Dexamine in the morning, I moved up to 2 caps, split dosing between AM and PM. Today I popped 2 caps pre to test. Good alertness, but combined with Cardio had my heart rate up more than I would like. So will continue to stick to splitting up doses throughout the day.

Woke up at 162.5 (-0.5#) but struggled this week. Watching the pros is both extremely motivating and discouraging. Felt visually like my effort is not showing up. Caught between the desire to be larger (lats, forearms, delts) vs feeling soft and overweight around the midsection. But I guess I just have to tell myself consistency is the key.

Weight this morning down to 163#, so essentially no change over 1 month. Finally got my package from OL in, so will be adding in Forslean to the mix. Took 1 cap pre-WO with 1 cap Dexamine and Thyrotwin. Have about 1 week left of the Giant combo, although I have not been that impressed with it.

A lot of change going on. Will be starting a new position at my workplace among other things, so hoping this won't affect my workout schedule. I've realized I need to keep work-life balanced, so that is one of my goals as I take on more responsibility.

Close Grip Cable Rows x 150 x 10, 130 machine row x 10, cable row x 150 x 10 - someone jumped on the cable rows so I did my 2nd set on the machine row instead.

Ab machine crunches x 75 x 12,12,10

Couldn't wake up on Thurs, so ended up skipping the gym. Today's workout:

Cardio, treadmill
Leg press x 130x12, 230 x 10,10,10
Leg ext x 110 x 10,10,10
Leg curls x 100 x 10,10,7
Leg press calves x 210 x 12,10,10
Ab machine crunches x 62.5 x 16,12,12

Thinking about looking into TRX bands for home, anyone have opinions?
I have the Pro version and like them for no-gym hotel workouts. They really hit the support muscles much like a set of gymnastics rings will do.
