I think filming and critical analysis of your lifts is quite important, especially if you compete in various types of competition (olympic, pl, etc). I would add the caveat that you should be careful who you take advice from though. While most of the people whose logs I follow and who are in those logs give solid advice, there are plenty of internet form nazis that will tear down even the tiniest of faults. Or some just don't want to hurt others feelings and say you good to go all the time.
I always appreciate people's feedback when I post vids though, gotten lots of solid feedback from some people on AM before.![]()

I agree as well. The nice thing about the PL "group" here is I think we're all pretty honest. There isn't much sycophantic cawk stroking when things are posted; it's 99% good, honest feedback.

The way I see it, you're not at optimal powerlifting weight until your belly is way out past your pecs, your ass can hold a TV dinner, you have two chins while squatting, and you've gone up at least one shirt size and two pants sizes from where you started.
Uniform inspection complete. Can successfully flex out my shirt. Winning.

i worked arresting gear on a carrier, i've got flight deck pics from 1982 in a box upstairs that would curl your toes.

Since the messed up shoulder Tuesday, I've been doing an assload of band work (pullaparts, Y's, 3D's, over/backs) every night and then wrapping my shoulders in Joint Force soaked Saran Wrap.
Don't forget the face pulls Sean.

I did some pullaparts with the orange band randomly throughout the workout in place of the Facepulls. But yes! I took that advice when ya first gave it to me.
