I got injured a while back (about three months ago I believe). I have been away from the gym/box since. I figured it was the best thing. I may or may not have been on to something. Either way, it was detrimental to my physique, overall.
I don't often speak of my supplementation outside of what I'd get in my rep packs. Contrary to that, I have a pretty solid knowledge base when it comes to orals (DS/PH). That being said, since I cannot really afford to go the GH route, I've decided to run epi at low dose for an extended duration. Why? Same reason as GH. I'm not under the impression that epi is going to act in the same manner as GH in the realm of ligament healing, but recovery on epi is pretty awesome from my experience. This is an experiment. You don't have to tell me that epi causes muscle tightness and may adversely affect the afflicted ligament. I know. I'm also going to be adding cissus when it comes in.
I was "on" when I got injured. I know the root cause. I'm not the statistic as far as crossfit goes. Crossfit didn't cause my injury. I feel better today than I did two months ago so I know things are headed in the right direction.
So, noodz will happen but they're low on the priority list.
I have about 2.5 years of training coming up. The first 9ish months are classroom. That should be sufficient time to heal if I can do this right.

So, I've been swimming. A lot. So you have an idea of what I'm going through, I wake up multiple times each night if I move the wrong way. Since I got injured I've woken up with tears in my eyes a couple of times from the pain of simply moving my leg to the wrong spot or from stretching in my sleep.
Anyway, the swimming seems to help. I bought some rad swimming gloves so I can minimize the use of my legs when they hurt. The right adductor hurts worst than the left, but the left is the one that is torn.
My lats and my traps are sore. I plan to try squatting tomorrow. Bodyweight makes for a little discomfort, we'll see what happens when I add a bar, or more. What's the worst that can happen, right?

This will be the bulk of my carbs for the day.

Swimming and an attempt at squatting today.

Squatted today, adjusted the stance to be quad dominant, very narrow and limited toe out angle. Wasn't too bad at 105lbs (I know, baby weight but it's a step forward).
Been researching ostarine. Seems like it may be what I was looking for. Gonna give it a run and see what happens.

Sorry for not keeping up y'all. Recently reported to my new place of business and I'm adjusting to my schedule. Here's breakfast this morning though.
30mg epi seems to be helping, I'm not waking throughout the night in pain, and I'm more mobile than I was. Lateral movement is still compromised though.
Bodyfat is dropping pretty quickly, but I've lost some size as well. Life.
Back to weights Monday on a consistent basis, as I feel like I'm ready to get back to lifting.

You know why? Because I can't not lift anymore. Because it's just a hurdle and I can overcome it. Because I don't need a fûcking left adductor anyway, I can be a quad dominant squatter by narrowing my stance and pointing my toes forward. Because I'll only live once, why waste away while I'm here, I'll save that for when I'm not. Ok, enough being emo.

Worked up to 185 on squats. I know, still baby weight but I'm figuring out what I can take and what will hurt me.
Used 65 for OH squats (RX weight was a proposed 115. I'm not ready for that yet, give me a minute).

Back in business. 1/2 scoop of STIMUL8 pre made everything alright. Got some shoulder mobility to work on. Weight kept drifting forward and making me come up on my toes during OH squats. Food porn incoming after I cook. <3.

Got through 15 rounds when my hand tore. Still had over 5 minutes left but I called it good enough for my second workout in a long time.
I didn't use to take STIMUL8 prior to WODs, mostly because I was worried my heart would blow up. I've been using a half scoop and it's perfect. My HR gets to training HR faster, but I haven't noticed anything beyond what seems normal for this type of conditioning.
My glutes are sore. Squatting after squatting and box jumps is a bìtch.

I'm a big fan of The Acacia Strain, but it's hard to make it through a whole album sometimes. If you want any band suggestions in that genre, let me know.

I have a funny relationship with mushrooms (the nutritional kind), actually with the other kind too, but I used to HATE/DESPISE mushrooms. Could not easy them, WOULD not eat them! Then, when I was managing a restaurant, I saw a hamburger with mushrooms, bacon, and cheese and for some reason thought it looked really good so I had one. And it was REALLY fûcking good! So yeah...now I eat mushrooms lol.

started off the evening playing ping pong in this dude's basement...after a lil while, dude threw out another ball on the table while the original one was still being knocked around....and the two balls then commenced to expode into a gazillion pong balls going all over the freaking place...when me & my buddy left that house, it took me 45min to drive out of this guys 500ft long circular driveway
and THAT was only the beginning of a wack and crazy night, lulzzzz (at one point I was looking at myself up on the ceiling of this other house we were partying at -- until I switched places with the ceiling me, and was looking down at myself laying on the couch from the ceiling) :blink:

Holy shît dude, that's a TRIP! I can't say I ever had anything crazy like that happen any time I tripped, just crazy visuals and a heightened sense of consciousness. We loved to hacky sack as the sun came up over lake Michigan. The zone you can get into I'd fûcking unreal! Those were the best times of my youth without a doubt.

Should specify that most of my tripping was done on acid. Done shrooms a few times and had a good time. :-)

Caught up in here too. Looks like the only person who needs to be working hard as me right now is u lol. At least ur injured and ur diets looks dead on. I don't have a good excuse. Time management blows in my life right now.
