Review: AI Mint Chocolate Chip Protein

Well, I got some mint chocolate chip protein powder today from AI and I figured I would come here and lend you guys my thoughts about the product. I was a little hesitant as there wasn't much feedback out there about it and I was hoping not to hate 5 lbs of protein powder and forcing myself to use it. With that being said I must say this stuff ROCKS!! My girlfriend had just bought some mint chocolate chip ice cream and when i saw the protein I had to get it. I threw about 1.5 cups of milk in with a full scoop, mixed it and WOW, tasted very very very good. Just enough mint for it not to be overbearing and just sweet enough that it didn't gag me after my workout. Definitely a great flavor!

this is compared to Optimum Nutrition's
Taste: 7.5-8
Mixability: 8.5


Great job on that one CROWLER, you definitely exceeded my expectations on that flavor.

I'm not sure why, but I have found the colder my milk or water the better my AI Whey mixes. Sometimes I just toss in an icecube and stir right before dumping in the protein.

Haha yeah I know, I have used his protein ever since I was working for him a while back and love it. I could care less about mixability personally, unless it was just all out rediculously clumpy lol.

If I may suggest you try using a fork to mix, believe it or not it actually mixes quite a bit better.

I'll try that but trust me it mixes just fine ;). I believe ON's just mixes differently because they put something in there to make it do so, HOWEVER, their protein isn't pure, they have a lot of crap in there too.
 
MCC is a freakin' 10/10 for me. EXCELLENT in milk, and tastes wonderful with water and dex after the gym. So refreshing.
