Quick Question Thread - Throw 'Em Up!!

What's the word on r-ala supplementation and AP? Not at the same time I assume, but r-ala some meals, ap some meals. Thoughts?

You could use them at the same time, in order to maximize Insulemic response, in-and-around a workout - that is, dose AP and R-ALA before a pre-workout meal, in order to maximize both Insulin Dependent and Insulin Reactive glucose metabolism pathways. In this respect, the risk for adipose glucose uptake is low, and even if it occurs, hypertrophy is not likely.

can this be done with ala as well or only with r-ala?

Any Insulin Mimetic; the data (though it is primarily NIDDM/IDDM patients, and in vivo rat data) reflects that Berberine and Lagestroemia are not inducing AGU (adipose glucose uptake). Insulin necessarily does not display the same tissue specificity for glucose disposal. However, as I said, directly before a workout, this is not necessarily a primary concern.

Thanks you kind sir. Just picked me up 3 bottles of ap, of which I have never tried. Can't wait to see how it stacks up to the hype. :)

I think you will be satisfied. Just remember: intuitive dosing is a paramount to achieving success with AP - that is, finding a dosing scheme and CHO intake which is highly personal to you. Begin with our instructions, but from there make experiment a necessity. Individual glucose and energy metabolism is so diverse, and the rate-limiting steps therein even more dependent on individual biochemistry, that unfortunately no dosing schemes fit all! However, taking the time to find the proper one for you is like striking gold!

Mullet, what are some examples of the experimental tweaks to the dosing you are referring to? Like adjusting time of day, CHO amount, or the time in between dose and CHO intake?

Hey mate - there is a new dosing protocol for PowerFull. Take 3 pre WO (30min) and 2 before bed. As Disciples said, make sure you take the 2 days off a week.

Good Luck!

this is the dosing i have been following 3 pre wo 2 pre bed with 2 consec days off and am enjoying it. one question mullet...is there still value/benefit to the morning dose of 2 caps, 1/2 hour before intake of food or 1 hour after food intake

Yes, all of the above. I've experimented with dosing Anabolic Pump (and so did Jacob) directly prior to a meal; in this respect, you are utilizing Insulin-Dependent cascades such as IR and IR subsets, Atk, as well as Insulin-Independent glucose regulative cascades such as the famed AMPk, p38-MAPK (they both respond to fluctuations in energy production and consumption, via AMP:ATP ratio), as well as the directly synergistic reaction with Insulin itself.

In my time using Anabolic Pump, I have found it is very similar to weight training: Avoiding adaptation is the key to success. I often change my dosing scheme once I realize I have become acclimated to any particular one. This way, you throw your biochemistry for a loop, so to speak.

Definitely; I prefer prior to food intake, w/ a dose of both Anabolic Pump + ReCreate to maximize morning lipid hydrolyzation, and then hitting fasted weights!

Powerfull/AP Q.

Pre-workout, i take 3 powerfull about an hour before working out. During the first half of my workout I consume about 30-50g of fast acting carbs with about 15-20g of bcaas/eaas. At the end of my workout I pop an AP to prep for my pwo concoction.

Am I:
1. messing up the gh release from powerfull because of the CHO intra workout?
2. not getting the most out of my AP dose due to the potential insuling spike from those same CHO?

(the CHO intraworkout is karbolyn Invalid Link Removed)

thanks

1) Yes, but there are other beneficial aspects of PowerFULL which are not negated by CHO intake.

2) No, you're fine there!

Mullet, in your esteemed opinion, do the benefits of the CHO/Amino blend intake outweigh what i am missing out form the powerfull?

Well, I don't know how esteemed my opinion is, but I will most definitely offer it.

Consider this: Insulin release is going to occur within the curve of the Mucuna-mediated baseline-GH increase - in respects to resistance training - anyway - that is, in the dosing period we are speaking about, the GH response will be blunted by Insulemic response no matter what. However, the Mucuna-mediated increase in Dopaminergic transmission will not be negated; and neither will the adaptagenic effects of Chlorophytum. Despite PowerFULL's main MOA being hypothalamic-pituitary GH release, it has a diverse range of physiological actions, none of which aside from the former being negated by CHO ingestion.

Ok, so I absolutely am loving dosing AP 15-30 minutes prior to beginning gym-time. Generally, I do weights for close to an hour, and then move on to cardio for another 30 minutes. You'd think that once I got to cardio I'd be dead, but na, I can go and go and go, and it feels great.

So, heading back to school soon, going to be poor :(... would taking Na-R-ALA work similarly to AP pre-workout?

Haha, what do you think?

:p

I think that if I'm lucky, then maybe..

but am I lucky? Mr. Trout tells me I'm probably not.. :trout:

No, it most likely won't. The endurance raising capacity of AP stems not from glucose disposal, but the lipogenic modulating effects I have discussed previously; that superhuman stamina arises from vastly increased b-oxidation of FAs, and inhibited redepositing of TGs and FAs - essentially providing your body with a greatly expanded energy supply for acute training sessions. ALA will not complete the same action.

Well, sadly that makes perfect sense. Ok Mullet, I'm stuck on AP forever I guess.. Happy now!!?!

Addiction is fun!

In all honesty, I am not trying to sell you on anything perse, but relating what I see as accurate physiology.
I know man. I trust you guys at USPLabs... Plus, you back your stuff with science, so it's hard to argue that you're just BSing to sell a product.

is recreate safe for an 18 year old girl to take?

I read somewhere recommending that a girl should take 1 cap twice a day.
Is that about right?

Thanks

For your anecdotal pleasures, my girlfriend has been using ReCreate and Anabolic Pump (USPlabs Six-Pack Stack) for 6 weeks now. She has dropped to ~123lbs from 130lbs with increased tone and athletic performance (endurance, strength, etc.). This is with minimal change in training and simple diet changes needed to accomplish the carbohydrate load needed with Anabolic Pump.

ReCreate does contain caffeine however, in a low dose (75mg per pill) mainly for synergistic effects (increased metabolic rate/ fat oxidation,etc.). Users claim that the stimulant effect of ReCreate will not effect sleep patterns or any other undesirable side effects related to high caffeine doses.

Female users will also notice increase libido, mood and mental clarity.

Best of luck achieving your goals!

so this is the end of the first week that ive been using the ap/recreate stack.

ive been lifting 4days a week but doing SOMETHING everyday. on days i dont lift, i do jiujitsu, or ride my bike. the cardio during the rides or sparring is at a moderate pace.

anyway, over the first 4 days i lost about 5 lbs. sounds like a lot i know. but i didnt feel overly drained or...like anything was wrong. the last 2 days, ive been at the same weight. so....i was wondering if i should change my diet up or the timing...or is this a "normal" response. i plan on going with this through mid october then take a month or so off...and do it again another 8 weeks.

heres the diet so far: im 5'10ish now 200lbs...but 175-180 is my natural weight. from previous bloodwork, ive been told that i respond well to carbs. so ive been going on the middle part of your pdf for AP.

1ap/2recreate about 15-30minutes before breakfast..depends on when i begin to feel lightheaded.

breakfast has been
1cup (est) oats
1 Table spoon peanut butter
2scoops protein w/milk

2-3 hours later i eat a granola bar/fruit and protein w/milk (fat free)

1ap prior to lunch 15-30min depending
lunch:2eggs, 4 whites, 2 whole wheat tortillas. 4-5oz/ chicken breast.

2 recreate 20minutes before workout
workout.

1 ap before dinner 15-30 minutes before depending
dinner: varies. usually chicken or beef 5-6 oz. veggies

protein before bed w/milk.

ive been using a tracker and ive been averaging 35, 40, 25. (carbs, protein, fat)

any advice?
thanks
rafael

Raf,

Total weight is a bit of an illusion; you may have shed 5lbs of adipose in the initial phase, but have now continued to shed adipose and gain LBM, thereby making your net gain 0 in this second phase. Pay attention the mirror, and not the scale and you will be fine!

will the inner circle sale have anything else "on sale" besides PRIME??
I want to get some AP and Recreate just wondering..

I know its not your product, but any thoughts on taking 3AD and Recreate together. Mainly looking for any possible negatives you might think of.
THanks

I know a lot of users that use ReCreate with hormonal products to reduce adipose gain in a bulk or for a cut/recomp with great results. One important note is that you will notice desirable anti-cortisol properties and its effects on blood pressure.

This may require a little more info from another rep that is a little better versed on 3AD.

Why is this?

Assuming I take the CLA with meals, does the normal dosing scheme I follow (AP 30 mins prior to meal) allow enough time between each?

Honestly, it would be no issue.

Dietary fat (including free-form fatty acids) will not inhibit any of Anabolic Pump's effects. I was simply stating, in congruence with your statement, that most positive effects of CLA are seen when dosed with meals (anecdotal and so forth) and Anabolic Pump's when dosed pre-carbohydrate containing meals.

Best of luck.

Any chance that Prime could cause someone to breakout? Have any of the testers noticed any increase in Acne? I think I'm one of the few people who breakout from using Cissus and it's damn annoying, so I'm just a little curious considering Prime is non-hormonal..

In Ayurveda, Terminalia Chebula is used for 'Srotoshodhana' or purifying the channels of body
I'm assuming no... If anything, this may help, considering I have a tendency to feel congested during the day (lungs)... Although, I think the basil extract along with epicor will help alleviate this problem.

Also, Prime's recommended dosage is 2 caps 3 times a day with meals... I'm assuming one should take it just prior to eating or does it matter? Pre, mid, post?

Edit: One last question... Since this hasn't been addressed in the write up, I'm again going to assume that none of the testers noticed an increase in body temperature? I ask, because I may have Psoriasis, so I'm in the process of trying to treat certain symptoms and I'm pretty sensitive to heat changes...

No testers reported acne to my knowledge!

Our initial testing phases focused on consuming PRIME with dietary fats, but that was due to the the lipolytic nature of Testosterone - and therein assuming PRIME was a test booster. As a result of it working through an apparently independent mechanism, dosing in and around meals as opposed to an empty stomach is personal preference.

No; no thermogenic effect!

Hey Mullet,

Hopefully you can help me out here. I came off of hdrol about 3 weeks ago and managed to keep on abo8ut 8-9 pounds of my gains. I still have about 12 days or so of my Stoked Test Booster to finish. I am close to 1 1/2 weeks into my Lean Xtreme.

Anyways,
I ordered a bottle of Prime that I am anxious to try. I was thinking of starting it next week while finishing Stoked and Lean Xtreme. Will that be ok?

Also, I have 2 months to shed some fat and just got my order of Xyience Xelerate, XFbam, and XNGF natty test. I am probably only going to take the Xelerate right now. Would there be any issue running that with prime as well?

Thanks a bunch.

Yes, you could run PRIME ASAP; and no, there is no issue (besides Xyience being horrible - I kid).

HAHA thanks man. Yeah, Xyience is not the best for sure. I got a bulk buy of crap. I do react though to the fat loss stuff, more than likely due to the caffeine increase.

what's up mullet...quick Prime question here...

I am on day two of the dosing schedule and I have noticed some gasto issues.....did any of the beta testers report this in the beginning as their bodies adjusted to it? It feels similar to products with forslean and the gastro issues in the beginning of starting it atleast to me it does...I am very in tune with my body so I am just wondering if these issues have anything to do with the ingredients in Prime....Today hasnt been as bad seems to have subsided a bit, which is a great sign....mabye is isnt prime and it was just an off day for my insides...none the less I am excited to see what Prime will do..

I have been dosing with food 2 caps three times per day spread evenly apart...

does dosing it close to AP cause any increased gastro issues?

I have been on AP for a while so that's why I have isolated the possible issue to the addition of Prime

thanks

I've not read this yet (it could be out there, but havent yet seen a thread), but with Prime, is the dosing for everyone (i.e. weight), @ 6 caps per day? Or is there an added benefit for those over 200lbs to take more caps per day, and what that may be if so.

Some people have done 9 caps per day and they notice that the effects are more obvious at a higher dosage. However, this is all personal choice.

I read that it doesnt matter if you take PRIME with food or not... is this true?
what is the absolute best way to take prime?

by the way.. I got my box last night when i got home and popped two pills b4 i went to sleep, woke up this morning with a slight pump. Impressed already!
