Quick Question Thread - Throw 'Em Up!!

1. Is it necessary to run any type of thyroid pct type products (7-keto?) upon cessation of ReCreate?

2. Also, what is the recommend time of cessation before Re-ReCreating?

1) I would say no, especially if you have no genetic predisposition to adverse glandular activity.

2) I would say approximately 12 weeks; due to myriad factors.

two dosage questions for Super Cissus RX for myself and my dad.

1) My dad used to do a lot of heavy labouring and stuff since he was pretty young. Heaving coal around or mixing sugar (a lot harder then it sounds :P) since he was 15. Some injuries and other stuff give him pretty bad joints especially when the weather is cold or he has to lift stuff. He's 47 now, and has had chronic back, knee and finger problems for a long time.

What kind of dosage should he take of the SCRx?

2) I just sprained my ankle pretty hard, and it might possibly be a small fracture (dunno yet, need to get another xray). Should I bother with SCRx if i'm already using Glucosamine Sulfate & MSM?

Thanks :)

1) For chronic injuries, rest and a dosage of approximately 6 grams (or double the recommended dosage) should be used.

2) Well, in actuality, the vast majority of published datum on Cissus' reparative effect surround osteoblasts and osteoclasts - that is, mitigating the increased production of bone. If it is (unfortunately) a break, I would suggest taking a similar approach to your father, and doubling the amount for the immediate period, with a tapering off as your approach healing. Not only will Cissus' potent anabolic (in a strict tissue reparative sense) effect on bone directly assist you, but clinical data has also displayed a potent anti-gluccocorticoidal effect (thereby reducing inflammation, allowing the body to approach the impinged area), specifically lowering levels of a cytokine known as TNF-Alpha1, a very destructive body. Further, the deliverance of Beta Carotene and other trace minerals has been hypothesized as greatly contributing to Cissus' healing effect. I would definitely suggest it in your case!

Yeah see that's the problem. I'm not sure if my dad's type of pain is considered chronic. He doesn't get it every day nor does he lift weights. However sometimes he has to shift a load of boxes onto a pallet or something or it might be a chilly day. Usually it's fine for him.

thanks for the rest of the info :)

I would consider anything which occurs frequently or semi-frequently chronic; even if the condition is predominantly latent, reoccurring pain would most likely classify it as chronic. Your father's pain may simply need a catalyst in order to manifest itself, while the underlying physiological condition causing his pain remains constant.

You are good.

hey guys im back again. finally getting my ankle walkable but the bone always feel cold. My traditional chinese physio guy says its normal - but its fricken shite.

Anyhow another cissus question: When it talks about a pre existing medical condition how severe does it have to be? My dad's sometimes got high blood pressure issues but its only when hes stressed or had particularly rough nights of sleep in a row (sometimes joint related, sometimes not). He's had heart discomfort as well, but he isn't taking medication or anything like that.

Thanks again :)

Sorry, but I'm somewhat confused as to what you're asking. You want to know if Cissus poses a contraindication to high blood pressure and/or high blood pressure medicine? If so, then no (Dr.Seuss over here). No issues there.

Sorry about the confusion, what im trying to ask is how severe do any of those conditions have to be to warrant not using super cissus rx.

A lot of people have blood pressure issues or heart discomfort, but at what stage is it a "medical condition" and the supp shouldnt be used?

haha, by trying to make it more clear i think i mightve made it less clear :P

No, I gotcha. The answer above applies.

quick question..

Why is AP so bad A!? Seriously, I've been fluctuating between maintenance and a caloric deficit and I've added measurable mass to my arms, and I'm sure in other places. It's fantastic, and Recreate + AP really seems to be helping the leaning process!

It's because our BA extraction is industry standard for being a stone-cold mother****er.

My girlfriend (21 y/o, 115lbs) has been using ReCreate for 4 weeks. Her dosing has been 1 pill, 3 times per day. She has noticed adipose loss in her triceps, quadriceps/thighs, and stomach.

She has definitely cleaned her diet up quite a bit but there are still flaws.

As far as her dosing, as i said she is running 1x3. She had commented on the stimulant effect but it is not undesirable.

Just giving you a little info.

Let us know how she likes it.

thanks mullet and boro.. :D Mullet, you said 3 max.. is there any problem with 2-1? or she has to follows what boro said 1-1-1??

sorry if Im "too asking". I love usplabs, just want peoples who buy usplabs (from me) get the max benefit from that great supps.. :D

yeah, I could see that from my arrived order.. I've been ordering constantly since IC released.. :D thanks again, off now..

thanks boro.. theyre not really my 'clients', just helping them.. :D btw, very nice log (meal log) haha..

Will bulk 1-carboxy be returning to NP? :food:

Or, will bulk Pfull be made available?

Unlikely either powder will return to Nutraplanet. A few projects in respects to bulk powders were being ironed out, but recent developments such as corporate interest and the release of PRIME have caused us to forgo them for the time being.

Mullet,

My question is this: Why is it you dress up in a rainbow bright outfit on saturdays, and visit the petting zoo? Only to work up an appetite and bury your face deep into a Sheppard's pie, following up with a short trip to dairy queen to lick the toilet handles for dessert?

Riddle me that.

mullet: question on stacking AP and P-Slin...throughout the thread there has been mention of stacking the two and double dosing AP and also I recall you mentioned that you take about 6 or so of both AP and P-Slin each day...

1) I am curious about the benefits of double dosing AP, what are they and what type of carb consumption grams wise is required?
2)And also when you say stacking AP/P-Slin are you referring to for example dosing both together 15 min prior to Pre WO meal?
3) when you say you are taking 6 P-Slin a day when are you dosing? always with AP?

thanks

1) I am curious about the benefits of double dosing AP, what are they and what type of carb consumption grams wise is required?

Increased MGU (muscle glucose uptake), though this is rate-limited by the phosphorylation of glucose. I would say CHO consumption would increased by 30-40g CHO.

2)And also when you say stacking AP/P-Slin are you referring to for example dosing both together 15 min prior to Pre WO meal?

No, usually dosed on different meals. However, taking them before the same meal has been a successful approach!

3) when you say you are taking 6 P-Slin a day when are you dosing? always with AP?

I'm no longer utilizing P-Slin, but I would dose them somewhat staggered. I would double dose Pre-WO and breakfast with P-Slin, and then have two P-Slin and AP Meals.

thanks mullet and if one were to dose P-Slin together with AP prior to pre work out meal what would be an ideal CHO range be 80-120?

ye i noticed this also with the batch sold on sale - much less of the strong smell u usually get from AP...

any reason for this?

Not that I am aware of. Standardization of ingredients has not changed; we have switched manufacturing facilities, and that is a more likely cause.
