Has anyone ever experienced diarrhea with Anabolic Effect?
This is my first time taking it...
I took my first dose Thursday night. Second dose Friday morning... and by mid-afternoon I wasn't feeling too well.
I take a fiber supplement so I usually have pretty solid stools.
But I was up all night Friday pooping my brains out.
I thought maybe I had a bug or something. Didnt take any supplements Saturday and felt ok.
Took 3 capsules of AE sunday morning and 3 more at night and NOTHING else...
Now, Monday morning I have Explosive Diarrhea again. This is insane.
What could be in AE that is causing this?!
My first thought in reading this thread title is that it really upset me and bothered me.
I have communicated with you in the past via pm and replied to an email from you yesterday about this exact subject and typed you out a very detailed answer and suggestions.
Your choice of a thread title leads people reading to think that this may be a common issue with the product and gives a negative perception towards the product and that isn't fair to any company, especially in the case of one where in my case I've always replied to all of your questions in threads, pm's, emails, etc.
We have never had a single report ever of Anabolic Effect causing diarrhea in anyone and I doubt that it the singular cause of it in your case either. IF it has anything to do with Anabolic Effect at all, I suspect it is a combination of you possibly taking it on an empty stomach, needing to space the dose out better, you taking it with something you're not thinking about like a drink with sugar alcohols in it (live sugar free vitamin water for example), getting in more fiber than you think, or your fiber supplement maybe priming your stomach for something to bother it.
I always do say that different things affect people differently so there is always the chance that it could affect you this way, but I doubt that its AE at all and if it is, I think that its highly likely that its a combination of factors bc there's literally never been a report of this with anyone else over multiple years and thousands of bottles of product sold.
To recap from the email I had replied to you, and I think that you will see that my reply matches the feedback from others in this thread:
- I have never heard of it causing diarrhea and we have never had a single report of it.
- I have only ever heard of it causing a bit of stomach discomfort a couple of times ever.
- If memory serves me correctly, over years of selling it and thousands of bottles sold and used, I remember 3 times of people asking about it upsetting their stomach and in 2 cases they were taking it on and empty stomach and felt like it made them feel a little bloated and when they started taking it with food they had no more issues. And then for one person, rather than take 3 capsules twice per day, he started taking 2 capsules 3x per day and that resolved the issue for him and in his case, he went on to be a huge fan of it and wrote one of the most comprehensive and most read reviews on the product and has used it multiple times since.
My further thoughts and suggestions if you were try it again:
- Take it with food.
- If you were already taking it with food, then space the dosage out 2 caps 3x per day instead of twice per day.
- Build up to that dose by starting off with one capsule and see if that bothers you and then up it to one capsule twice per day, then 2 caps morning/1 cap evening, and keep adding capsules until you reach the desired dose or if you do start to experience stomach discomfort, maintain the dose where you don't for awhile before trying to continue to taper up.
- The fiber supplement that you are using would destroy my stomach - if I took that much guar gum I would feel like I swallowed a Volkswagen so I would also suggest maybe laying off that a couple days before/if you try Anabolic Effect again.
I hope the info helps. In the future, please have the respect and courtesy for all companies, and especially companies that have tried to help you to choose your thread titles more carefully and appropriately and not phrase them like there's something negative, wrong with, or common with their products when there is not.
That would be like me posting a thread saying '(Company Name) Multi-Vitamin Causes Severe Stomach Pains?' which is phrased like I'm making an accusation versus something more appropriate land less negative and degrading like "Does anyone else have to take _____ Multi-Vitamin with food?" or "Do multi-vitamins bother anyone else's stomachs?'
I hope that all of this makes sense. I don't mean any of this as negative towards you, I just hope that you can see my side of this and the way that it comes off and reflects negatively on the company and product.
(Ending point - I really appreciate everyone's kind words and feedback in the thread answering and assuring that they've never seen or experienced this type of issue).
