Just wondering if anyone has experienced GI side effects from Anabolic Effect?

Edit: After reading the responses here, it looks like I an in the extreme minority and 99% of people have no problem with AE.

Pretty standard. Alot of whole foods... meat, rice, veggies, fruit.

This is what I take. Only 7 grams of fiber.

Zero issues here with 6-10 caps a day. I also dose all mine empty stomach as well.

That being said I ALWAYS tell my customers when they ask: "Are there any side effects?" I ALWAYS state that there is a small chance one is allergic or intolerant of ANY natural herb/root/compound. Most people can eat peanuts or strawberries with no issue and then there are people who could die without medical attention if they did. What I am driving at is you COULD have a sensitivity to one of the compounds but your reaction is NOT typical of these ingredients.

I appreciate the response. I'm too afraid to try again now lol which is such a bummer because AE seems like such an incredible product.

I just realized you said AE and I was thinking AXT. I have taken up to 12 AE's a day and had zero issue. I bet you could trade it for something to someone if you still have the majority of it. Or give it to a buddy. DON"T TOSS IN THE BIN!

curious if you had a notable difference with the double dosing of AE?

There was an additional benefit BUT it was NOT twice as much as the regular dose(I didn't think it would be to be fair.) The product is very well dosed to begin with that I would 100% rather add anacylus or recomp20...........or both vs double dosing.

It is very possible, some people have reactions to certains supplements/mixes. Give it a few days to let it all clear out of the system, try again and if you get the symptoms again, dont use the supp haha

Yeah that’s what I thought. I’d rathe add something to hit a different angle before bumping up dose like that. Thanks for the input though! I’m running Anabolic Effect with Anabolic XT and I can’t even believe how well that stack works. It’s actually pretty weird.

appreciate the feedback. i ran AE once during its initial release but i don't believe i gave it a fair assessment due to my diet and training being crap. I wasn't very motivated then. I'm going to run it again in a few months.

Double dosing makes sense when dealing with an underdosed product but an otherwise solid formula. EX. The product has a great profile but due to cost they underdosed the expensive stuff, in a situation like this double dosing can be warranted. With the core brands we discuss around here, SNS/CEL being solidly in that category, you don't have to double dose as the products are correct to begin with.

Has anyone ever experienced diarrhea with Anabolic Effect?

This is my first time taking it...

I took my first dose Thursday night. Second dose Friday morning... and by mid-afternoon I wasn't feeling too well.

I take a fiber supplement so I usually have pretty solid stools.

But I was up all night Friday pooping my brains out.

I thought maybe I had a bug or something. Didnt take any supplements Saturday and felt ok.

Took 3 capsules of AE sunday morning and 3 more at night and NOTHING else...

Now, Monday morning I have Explosive Diarrhea again. This is insane.

What could be in AE that is causing this?!
My first thought in reading this thread title is that it really upset me and bothered me.

I have communicated with you in the past via pm and replied to an email from you yesterday about this exact subject and typed you out a very detailed answer and suggestions.

Your choice of a thread title leads people reading to think that this may be a common issue with the product and gives a negative perception towards the product and that isn't fair to any company, especially in the case of one where in my case I've always replied to all of your questions in threads, pm's, emails, etc.

We have never had a single report ever of Anabolic Effect causing diarrhea in anyone and I doubt that it the singular cause of it in your case either. IF it has anything to do with Anabolic Effect at all, I suspect it is a combination of you possibly taking it on an empty stomach, needing to space the dose out better, you taking it with something you're not thinking about like a drink with sugar alcohols in it (live sugar free vitamin water for example), getting in more fiber than you think, or your fiber supplement maybe priming your stomach for something to bother it.

I always do say that different things affect people differently so there is always the chance that it could affect you this way, but I doubt that its AE at all and if it is, I think that its highly likely that its a combination of factors bc there's literally never been a report of this with anyone else over multiple years and thousands of bottles of product sold.

To recap from the email I had replied to you, and I think that you will see that my reply matches the feedback from others in this thread:
  • I have never heard of it causing diarrhea and we have never had a single report of it.
  • I have only ever heard of it causing a bit of stomach discomfort a couple of times ever.
  • If memory serves me correctly, over years of selling it and thousands of bottles sold and used, I remember 3 times of people asking about it upsetting their stomach and in 2 cases they were taking it on and empty stomach and felt like it made them feel a little bloated and when they started taking it with food they had no more issues. And then for one person, rather than take 3 capsules twice per day, he started taking 2 capsules 3x per day and that resolved the issue for him and in his case, he went on to be a huge fan of it and wrote one of the most comprehensive and most read reviews on the product and has used it multiple times since.
My further thoughts and suggestions if you were try it again:
  • Take it with food.
  • If you were already taking it with food, then space the dosage out 2 caps 3x per day instead of twice per day.
  • Build up to that dose by starting off with one capsule and see if that bothers you and then up it to one capsule twice per day, then 2 caps morning/1 cap evening, and keep adding capsules until you reach the desired dose or if you do start to experience stomach discomfort, maintain the dose where you don't for awhile before trying to continue to taper up.
  • The fiber supplement that you are using would destroy my stomach - if I took that much guar gum I would feel like I swallowed a Volkswagen so I would also suggest maybe laying off that a couple days before/if you try Anabolic Effect again.
I hope the info helps. In the future, please have the respect and courtesy for all companies, and especially companies that have tried to help you to choose your thread titles more carefully and appropriately and not phrase them like there's something negative, wrong with, or common with their products when there is not.

That would be like me posting a thread saying '(Company Name) Multi-Vitamin Causes Severe Stomach Pains?' which is phrased like I'm making an accusation versus something more appropriate land less negative and degrading like "Does anyone else have to take _____ Multi-Vitamin with food?" or "Do multi-vitamins bother anyone else's stomachs?'

I hope that all of this makes sense. I don't mean any of this as negative towards you, I just hope that you can see my side of this and the way that it comes off and reflects negatively on the company and product.

(Ending point - I really appreciate everyone's kind words and feedback in the thread answering and assuring that they've never seen or experienced this type of issue).

Yeah, I have never heard of this with anyone at any dosage.

It's always possible that someone can be super sensitive to something, but my first thought is the same as yours in that something fiber related is priming for stomach issues and then maybe AE could be causing a little bit of an issue that becomes a big issue with the fiber on top of it. But I still think its likely coincidental and something else altogether.

That product would destroy my stomach. I could take it, but if I did, I couldn't eat a lot of foods or even eat a protein bar with fiber or sugar alcohols in it or even drink like a sugar free vitamin water or it would wreck my stomach.

It's not that its a bad product, but it's not just about the grams of fiber that you take in, its about the type of fiber and how individual types might affect ones stomach and that can vary from person to person.

I have a fairly sensitive stomach and I've dosed mine plenty of times on an empty stomach and never had any issues; and I can't even take a multi-vitamin, fish oil, or even regular vitamin c on an empty stomach.

And I always say basically the same thing - that different people respond to things differently and its always possible that it could be something like in this case, a product bothering someone's stomach that doesn't bother anyone else's.

But if that's the case, there's no use looking for the 'what ingredient' is doing it part bc if you're the only one that it does it to, you're not going to be able to figure it out that easily bc it doesn't do it to anyone else. He could likely easily rule out AstraGin, S7, PrimaVie, and ActiGin/Senactiv if he's used them in other products which would leave the main 3 herbals. But I think it IF it is AE doing it, its likely the concentration of high potency herbals total versus one single thing and his stomach being primed for sensitivity anyway from the fiber.

It is very possible, some people have reactions to certains supplements/mixes. Give it a few days to let it all clear out of the system, try again and if you get the symptoms again, dont use the supp haha
Good post - and if he does try it again, I would suggest doing what I had already emailed him to try which is making sure to take it with food and also maybe try doing 2 caps 3x per day instead of 3 caps 2x per day.

Yeah that’s what I thought. I’d rathe add something to hit a different angle before bumping up dose like that. Thanks for the input though! I’m running Anabolic Effect with Anabolic XT and I can’t even believe how well that stack works. It’s actually pretty weird.
That's great to hear. I'm looking so forward to being able to get back to training just to be able to run Anabolic Effect and Anabolic XT. Which is funny coming from me bc I'm someone that hates to train - I train for a purpose and results but I've never been one to look forward to working out, but I'm looking forward to being able to again just to be able to run the stack haha.

appreciate the feedback. i ran AE once during its initial release but i don't believe i gave it a fair assessment due to my diet and training being crap. I wasn't very motivated then. I'm going to run it again in a few months.
I'm glad to hear that you're going to give Anabolic Effect another run. It's a great product and there is a lot of great feedback on it. I think and hope that you'll enjoy it and look forward to hearing your results.

Good post and absolutely agreed. The Anabolic Effect intro thread is I think over 20 or maybe 30 pages and I've never seen or heard of this ever.

My opinions on the discussion about double dosing Anabolic Effect that is ongoing in the thread are:
  • Anabolic Effect is a great product with a ton of great feedback on it and is very solidly dosed.
  • I think that if one does want to go up to 9 to 12 capsules per day that they will likely love it and many will experience better results than at 6 capsules BUT it wouldn't be like 12 capsules would be double the results of 6 capsules.
  • I think that especially now that Anabolic XT and Cloma-Plex is out that it would make more sense for people to stack Anabolic Effect with Anabolic XT or Cloma-Plex than to double the dose of Anabolic Effect unless they are a hyper responder to Anabolic Effect like some people are.
  • We have had a lot of great feedback from people that have used 9 to 12 capsules per day (1.5x to double dosing) and have had great feedback on it and never, not once, zero times ever had any reports of stomach upset related to it.
  • If one were to experience stomach upset with Anabolic Effect or any other supplement, regardless of dose, my first suggestion to them would be to take the doses with food and also to try spacing the dosages out more - for example, instead of taking 3 caps twice to maybe try 2 caps three times per day with food.
Thank you again to everyone that has posted kind words and feedback in this thread.

I didn't have any stomach issue with AE.
For example, I take magnesium everyday, only once gave me stomach discomfort. The day after, 0 issues.

It could be something that you ate.

Sometimes coffee gives me diarrhea, sometimes not.

Even if you drink water from a bottle that you were drinking the day before, could gives you stomach discomfort.

Please delete this thread. Was just trying to ask an honest question after a severe reaction to a product, but really upset people.
The issue wasn't the question - I, and a lot of people answered the question part of it and many of us offered suggestions to try to help you.

The issue was that the thread title came off as very negative towards the product and in the post you asked a question but then went on to make statements that it was the product; and in replies, others explained it had never happened to them and that if that was what caused your issue, that it was definitely rare.

I don't have any issues with you asking honest questions - I had replied to your email asking the question and had also taken probably a good hour out of my night last night to answer questions and reply to things in the thread; and I made sure to explain why I thought the thread title was disparaging and should have been gone about differently and even said in my post - "I don't mean any of this as negative towards you, I just hope that you can see my side of this and the way that it comes off and reflects negatively on the company and product."

We live in an age where many people see a thread title and assume it to be fact and never read the threads or the ensuing discussions. If you'd wanted to change anything about the thread, simply changing the thread title to something like - Anabolic XT Question or something like that would have been fine by me.

My intention wasn't to make you feel bad about your post or make you feel like I or anyone else didn't want to answer your questions; it was just about pointing out that I wish it could have all been done in a way that fostered good conversation (which it has) but without giving the initial impression that there was something wrong with a product. I hope that makes sense.

I agree. A lot of times issues can be a combination of things. I'll use myself as an example - I can eat a protein bar with sugar alcohols in it or drink a sugar free vitamin water with them in it some days with no problems and other days it may bother me; but doing either one on a day with much fiber and my stomach is wrecked from it.

I'm the same way with coffee too - some days I can drink it all day and it doesn't phase my stomach and other days one cup may bother it.

I always try to be conscious that if I think a product/food/protein shake or anything else affects me a certain way that it may just be me, it may be a combination of things, or it may be coincidence; especially when it doesn't seem to affect anyone else the same way.

100% understand.

I just want to make it clear that it was not my intention at all. I though the ? at the end of title would show it was just question.

Should have phrased everything better overall if that wasn't clear. My apologies there.

I appreciate your thoughtful replies. You're the most engaged poster on this forum and I think everyone really appreciates it.

I'm sure AE is an amazing product that doesn't bother 99.99% of people!

Instead of 'please delete', how about maybe just changing the thread title to something like 'Anabolic Effect Question' or something like that; I think we have all had some good convo in here so it would be ashamed to see the thread get deleted.

The body reactions are so unpredictable.

Coffee is one of those things... I have PVB and the coffee triggers PVB, not always.
I had 3 coffees yesterday, 0 issues .
I had 1 coffee 4 days ago, I had PVB's for 1 hour.

Like migraines, why I'm having a migraine when I'm eating so healthy, with no stress etc?
And then another day I'm so stressed, I ate bad and I don't have any migraine?

Like Steve said, reactions are unpredictable.

Man, I can eat really well and I can have a diarrhea, it doesn't make any sense but it is what it is, even if you drink water from the bottle that you left in your night stand the day before and previously you used it ...

I'm not saying that the PO is not right, but my recommendation is take the supplement again and check what happen.

I've had that same thing happen with water I've left in a vehicle, just leaving one in the cup holder and finishing it a couple days later and wind up with stomach issues.

And I think sometimes my stomach is worse when I do eat right. Like this year, since the accident, I've been so bummed, I honestly haven't even tried to eat right until recently. I can eat pizza and candy and stomach is fine; then I clean it up or at least try to and stomach hurts or is upset a few days a week. Maybe my body is telling me something haha

For what it’s worth twinlab ripped fuel…used by tons and tons of people, literally put me in the hospital with severe dehydration and nonstop vomiting. Thought food poisoning so recovered. After 3 days, took pills again, almost had to go back for an IV. **** happens…lol

A lot of veggies are pretty hard for the stomach.
I can digest a pizza better than broccoli.

I only had a stomach issue with a supplement, No-xplode , 10 years ago, yes, it was an explosion.

That's pretty wild bc that was so basic and especially compared to some of the hardcore stuff that I've seen you say that you liked. But definitely goes to show that different things really can affect people differently. I remember back in the old days I used to pop Ripped Fuel like candy.
