Q and A for Olympus labs EP1C

Nice. I'm a Crossfitter (oh no crossfit) but if i can increase endurance at higher lactic thresholds I'm sold.
especially trying to get 3 to 4 reps of an overhead squat at 100kg out after fatigued.

Only love for the crossfitters here just as long as you dont act like a vegan and push your beliefs and life style on everyone else lol

How are your gains with EP1C?

Noticeable strength especially in the big lifts (I can't deadlift due to injury but all presses and squats and rows are up) decent changes in body comp (lean muscle) I was on a maintenance lifting plan 3x a week. Next week I am starting back into a hypertrophy program 5 days a week.

Left capsule is my first bottle. Right is my second bottle.... Why two different sizes? Anyone seen this? Reps?

Open them and dump the contents on a scale. Should be the same give or take 10% or so. They may have just had bigger capsules at first and decided it wasn't necessary.

Anyone on their third consecutive bottle of Ep1c here? Curious to see how long some of you are running this.

I'm on my 2nd bottle. And my caps are also smaller than my 1st bottle

Good to know in not the only one

I'm a week into my second and definitely feeling some odd joint aches and pains. I'm adding x gels on Monday so I will have to monitor this closely.

I've been dosin mine 30 minutes prior to meals since the start of the second bottle

The first bottle I did one cap with two meals a day

I haven't tried a pre workout dose.. Is this supposed to be the optimal dosing?

Its strange that some people are experiencing joint aches and pains. I can't say Ive noticed any difference, but then again my knees always click and crack. I do remember reading somewhere in the forums that blocking myostatin can be bad for the joints. I suppose we don't know if -epi actually reduces or blocks myostatin as its MOA in the first place.

There's a slight possibility that all the joint ache and pain issues are directly correlated with the posting of a study showing myo inhibition and joint issues. And that it actually has zero to do with any epi products aside from possibly the increased workload that people are experiencing.

Ive been on two pwo and one non workout for 3.5 bottles. I might have to take a break after this one and let my joints heal up. God I miss that osta now! All my joints aching and im tweaking my ankles and ish lol. Even the cissus cant save me. I dunno if it's just the workload. Something else is definitely going on as Ive never had popping elbows before, buy maybe Im just dryer.

Sounds like AI side effects....

I hear exactly what you're saying in regards to jount issues. This has been extremely noticeable the past few days. This isn't in my head either. Usually my knees will click and crack but now my neck and elbows are doing it. Its not really a physical pain but it's not a comforting sound. I can't conclude its the -epi doing it. Maybe its due to the fact that I've been cranking out more reps (and even sets) than usual.

I would attribute it to the increased workload vs the epi itself

I did 3 months now Im taking a break, the increased workload is starting to hurt a bit. I had an awesome run will prob take a month off and do it again.

Does anyone else find it strange that a high percentage of people get joint/tendon pain from epi?

There are people getting previous injury flare ups (or even injuries like myself for example) and major joint pain without changing their lifts or loading.

Obviously something in it that causes inflammation

How many people buy an -(epi) product and after reading the increase in endurance say, "**** it, im gonna add 5 sets to my workout and get big"! There might be part of your answer!

I was running epic and ostra at 5mg for about a week. Seemed like a good combination but I saved the ostra for something else I'm planning. Strength was great and endurance was off the charts. I haven't had any joint pain while running ep1c solo yet. I would also say joint pain is from over training due to thinking you have another set left.

does it do anything - studies?
Its just dark chocolate right?

Not quite : )

(-)epi is found in dark chocholate, but you would never be able to eat enough to get the amount needed for athletic performance purposes (though it is generally healthy to eat "some" dark chocholate).

Proven Benefits of (-)epi:

1. Increased plasma antioxidant activity (decreased oxidative stress)
2. Brachial artery dilation
3. Fat oxidation
4. Reduction in LDL & Increase in HDL
5. Reduced blood pressure
6. Improved endothelial function
7. Myostatin inhibitor via increase in follistatin
8. Fatigue resisstance and enhanced oxidative capacity
9. Increased strength

While bio-availablity of (-)epi isn't horrible, it can be much improved upon. Ep1c Unleashed uses our PhytoFUSE tecnology, enhancing bio-availabilty by up to 200-600% vs other "standard" epi products.

This is a great source of info!

Hey what's this closeout sale about?? Olympus labs closing down..?

It does say "SARMs closeout sale" at Nutri-verse when you click on the link in the email.

Yeah I know. I wonder if all companies are having to discontinue sarms?

I don't know why BamBam0319 posted this in the Q & A for EP1C thread though....

It was a mistake. When I first read the thread title I thought it said "Olympus Labs Q & A" not specific to Ep1c. My bad.

I assume they are discontinuing it for US website and keeping it for the UK website, maybe they are bailing out before **** hits the fan.
