Putting RPG to the test

Shoulders and tris this morning gentlemen. Pretty good session even though I lacked time.

Z-press: love the hell out of this exercise. Takes all the cheating out of pressing.
135x8, 145x6, 155x4, 115x8 with 2 second pause at the bottom of each rep, 115x5 with a 4 second negative each rep.

Tri-set of bent over lateral raise, lateral raises and front raises. 3 sets. 25 pound dumbbells x 7 each movement, then 20 lb ones x 7, and 15 lbs x 8. About a minute rest betweeen each tri-set.

Seated one arm laterals: 2 sets 8 reps each arm with the 25s

Bench dips: haven't done these in a long, long time. Will be adding in again. BW x 15, +45 lb dumbbell x 15, with 45 lb dumbbell again x 14, but this last set was a 4 second negative every rep. Super pumped after these!

One arm overhead dumbbell extension: 25x8, 20x8, 15x10.

Straight bar pressdowns 100x10, 90x10, 80x10. 30 second rest between every set

Pretty good run again for about 45 minutes of work. Still no soreness and going strong!
 
It's a BCAA/EAA supplement. Very helpful, particularly if you train fasted or have a hard time meeting protein requirements.

Soooo...I am back to subscribing to my own thread to get updates....LOL been super busy at work. Worked from 8 in the morn to 10 at night yesterday. So I need to get caught up on everybody's stuff. Hope y'all are having a solid start to your weekends!

Sorry about the lack of update yesterday. It was a busy day at work and we celebrated my youngest son's b-day. He turned 7. Yesterday was legs. It will be a lazy update because I don't have the time to type out everything. It was almost the same except I upped my reps on the first run of leg extensions. I also got 195 for 6 on front squats. I am almost comfortable enough to struggle with good form on higher weights. Monday was a good day

Well, I go first thing in the morning regardless. So it was in as soon as I awoke....haha the only time I don't go first thing is if the wife steals my man essence in the morning. I am not doing shyt after that! LOL

A better update for this morning's training. I will note I am a dip s and forget my intra-w/o dose of RPG. I had it made the night before and forgot to bring it. I did notice a slight drop in endurance at the end of my training, but not substantial. STILL NO MUSCLE SORENESS! I am increasing the intensity each time in and still no doms. I get over 300 grams of protein a day, so I know it isn't fill a hole. Something about this product is doing wonders.

Incline barbell press: 180x7, 185x5+1+1, 145x5 2 second pause at bottom of each rep, 145x5 with 4 second negative each rep.

Reverse grip bench press/bench press superset, extended set, whatever you prefer to call it: 135x5/135x5, 155x5/155x5, 175x5/175x5. One more set of reverse grip with 115x8. It was different because I did them at a 4 sec neg, 2 sec pause at bottom, and 4 sec positive. Trying to throw in some sets with increased TUT beyond what I normally do.

4 sets of one arm machine press, going up in weight and keeping reps the same.

Solid session with slight strength gains. Hopefully throwing in some different stuff will kick start growth in my chest. Have a good evening everyone!
 
Something about this product is doing wonders.

Nice work, man! As for the product, could be MULTIPLE things in there working wonders. We really attack multiple angles for maximum recovery.

Oh, and happy birthday to your boy! 7 was a fun age. They turn into turds soon after! :)
 
Nice session brother. Now that you mention it, Coming off a 11 day decondtion I didn't get nearly as sore as I usually do. I'm loving the RPG.

Alright gentlemen. It was a weird day. I had today off from work. I made it in this morning. I somehow fcked up my shoulder on freaking shoulder playing Just Dance with my oldest son...(don't judge me...LOL). So, it still feels uncomfortable. Hoping tomorrow will be better for chest.

Today was legs.

Leg extensions: 150x12, 180x12, 195x12. 2 second peak contraction hold each rep.

Front squats: couldn't use my regular rack because some @sshole was busy doing rack pulls and taking 10 minutes rest between sets. I don't like this one because I have a long walk out and I don't keep hitting the barbell on the cross bar. 135x7, 155x7, 175x7, 195x4. I didn't want to get caught in a spot trying to walk with something that heavy by grinding more reps. 135x7 with a 2 second pause at the bottom of each rep. 135x6 with a 4 second negative each rep.

Single leg press: 2 ppsx12, +25 each side by 12, 3 ppsx12, 4 ppsx10, 2 ppsx20 with a 4 second negative each rep.

Single leg extensions: 75x12, 90x12, 60x12 with toes turned inward for this set. Each set had 2 second peak contraction hold each rep.

Finished with 5 sets of calf raises with 5 second negatives and ab work. Really good session even though my knee continues to feel like it may explode at any time.
 
Chest this morning. Shoulder is still wonkey, but oddly enough, didn't effect my day for the most part.

Now that you say that I just realized I'm not sore since using the RGP.

Back training today. Pull-up strength wasn't where I wanted it to be but overall a decent day.

Dumbbell rows: 90x8, 105x8, 115x5, 75x8 with a 2 second pause at the top of each rep, 75x7 with a 4 second negative each rep. Every set using a thumbless grip except the last where I used a hook grip.

Pull-ups: +25 lbs, 3+2, 3+2. BW 5+3 each rep with a 2 second pause at the top. One more set 4+3 the same way. Actually disappointed in my results here. Note: I stop my sets when I can't get my chin over the bar anymore.

Seated neutral, wide grip cable rows: 165x10, 180x8, 135x8 with a 2 second peak contraction hold each rep, 135x8 4 second negative each rep.

Straight arm pulldowns with rope: 3 sets of 10-12

Tri set of face pulls. One from shoulder level, one ar the top position, and one kneeling. 11 reps each part of set with no rest. 100 lbs used. 2 sets of this
