****Purus Labs Protein Give Away****

It smells like heaven, I calculate it'll save me about 100 calories for my morning oats and protein combo! (No need for natty peanut butter and it's leaner than my current protein)
 
Got home this afternoon after speeding home to outrun a pretty nasty storm cell. Pulled right into the garage but saw a box in my porch -- I wasn't expecting anything, so figured it was the wife's. Ran out real quick before the rain came down too hard and saw it said Purus!

Thought it was an odd choice (large) for samples, but thought maybe they tossed in a shaker. Got inside and popped it open --

Full tub!

Held my breath and slowly rotated the tub to reveal the label -- *please be PB2, please be PB2...*

VANILLA PB2!

Had fasted all day and just drank Humapro, so I cracked it open immediately (smelled delicious) and poured 7 oz. of vanilla CarbMaster milk into my ProMixx shaker, started it up, and dumped my scoop in.

Those who said Butterfinger were right. It's pretty darn close.

It's the best protein I've had in quite some time that I can recall. I'm super excited to add it to some my oatmeal mixes and make some ice cream, too.

So good.

I planned on grabbing one from Lockout soon and I was going to let the samples dictate which flavor. Now I feel like I should try another, but this one is SO good that I'm afraid to,get anything else lol (great dilemma, btw).

If I wouldn't have just grabbed a choc pb Trutein a couple weeks ago it would be no question (hadn't had it in years and remembered liking it). So we'll see.

But regardless, I'll be grabbing another tub of one flavor :)

Stocked up over the weekend on some sales and have some different PB Leans on the way that I may toy with for baking and this.

Got mine today. Will be having it as my shake before bed, and or in the morning. Im really happy about the macros. Very very clean. 115cals, low carb low fat. And a very unique set of flavors! Lets go!

Ill have to send you some structural firefighting gloves. I have a spare set in the bed of my truck. I have them a bit over sized, theyre thick enough that if they do bite down on you, it only pinches, and loose enough you can get your hand out.

This is great news. I totally neglected to check how clean it was when I ordered it, you don't necessarily expect a protein powder to have unnecessary cals. Since I'm cutting right now, this makes me even more excited for the stuff I ordered to be delivered. Maple Pancake FTW!

Chocolate –
If I had to describe this flavor it would be similar to a peanut butter snickers without the nuts. The blend of chocolate and peanut butter go hand in hand with a slight favor in terms of chocolate. The PB2 is shadowed to a slight degree behind the milk chocolate flavoring. The milk chocolate Purus Labs uses is very pure and rich in flavor. This helps make the PB2 element shine when combined in this flavor. With the PB2 coming in as a strong aftertaste it gives you that candy element which is delicious. While this is not a true peanut butter cup as you would expect from a Chocolate based protein with PB2 added, it has a similar vibe to it. None the less easily one of the best Chocolate & PB options on the market.

Mixability

Purus Labs PB2 Protein is a blend composed of WPI/WPC/Casein. Similar to other blends on the market be prepared for this to mix thicker than a normal whey. Myofeed has a nice thickness to a protein shake, and helps make a thicker protein pudding. Personally when mixing with a protein shake, in a protein pudding, or baking I have had no problems with this protein. It is safe to say it mixes fairly easy.

The protein blend is made up of WPI, WPC, and Casein. I have had myofeed in the past and it does mix up thick, but settles easy. The added PB2 blend is PB2 added to help give the peanut butter flavoring. There is also Xanthan gum added for thickness and vitafiber. A very straight forward formula that is a very overlooked protein brand.

Cost

Most places retail a 2lb tub around 27-28$. Which on the protein market now and days is pretty typical. You get what you pay for. Purus Labs is known for their “Truth” to their supplements. You are getting what you pay for when it comes to a quality protein powder that will be meeting label claims. Keep your eyes peeled for promotions or sales which could see this dip to the 20$ range for 2lbs which would be a great pickup.

Yummy protein oats to start the day, the use of the PB2 protein was great!!! Like I said, rather than using 2 scoops of my other PB-chocolate protein AND adding a scoop of natty jif (395 calories) I just used 2 scoops of my Myofeed (220 cals) and it tasted amazing!!!

1/4 cup scoop of oats, 2 scoops myofusion, 1/4 cup scoop to top it off. Dash of milk if wanted, mix in hot water to desired consistency and yum! :D

Thats pretty cool that you guys are thourough. Ive never really gave myofeed a try but its got a great profile... Making a shake with my maple pancake for breakfast today after i finish this torture cardio session.... Ugh

That has been my breakfast almost every morning for the last 30 years!!
 
Just wanted to say, I am standing at my door with a .40, and if the delivery dude doesnt drop off my Myofeed, I am taking a random box from his truck, every single day until it shows!

I think I will be making some PB2 pancakes this week end !!
 
Its going to be a few days before I make my Pancakes, but I am loving my Vanilla PB2! Crazy good. The smell was incredible when I popped it open, and the first shake I had was incredible! Yesterday and today I had it for breakfast, mixing 1-1/2 scoops with 8oz of vanilla unsweetened almond milk, and 1 cup of instant oatmeal. Wow, impressive. Mixes well, I even tried the stirring with a spoon method, just to see, and it did well. Definitely has a great PB taste, and leaves no jacked up aftertaste when done. Will definitely be in my top 2 for taste.(one company has pumpkin pie!) an outstanding job by Purus, and I cant wait to make my pancakes with it, and maybe some chocolate PB protein brownies!!
 
Just got back from a trip to see this at my front door, I'm surprised it was still there to be honest, must have been there for a few days. Review will be going up later today! Thanks again to everyone over at Purus for hooking me up with this tub!

Just had two scoops of maple buttermilk pancake myofeed for my first meal. This stuff is great. Love the texture and the taste.
