See a lot of German cars went to force induction v6s. (Audi, BMW) & Ford now makes that EcoBoost in the SHO and Mustang.
Seems they make as much power as v8s but are more efficient. I think the Maxima or Altima need a performance model, Acura does too besides the NSX.
A lot of v8 people are talking of changing to these blown 6s.
At least Chevy, Ford, & Dodge are still using the 8s.

Sorry, I just saw this. Love the V8s, but the turbo 6 is starting to kill it!

Just ordered 2 tubs of Maple Pancake...so excited. I haven't used a protein supp in close to a year now, but the convenience factor they offer is necessary for my schedule right now. I've been following Purus since they introduced Condense. Have yet to try it, but haven't heard anything bad about you guys!

Well, for what its worth, I do it for food and NOT sport. I eat what I shoot, and Im picky as to what I shoot. No babies, no mamas with babies and bucks have to be a good size(i would attach a picture of the big one from this year but dont want to make anyone pissy with me). I bring a lot of it to the fire department and feed my guys on shift. We get to eat VERY lean high protein meat, and it's ridiculously cheap for us. But I don't disrespect someone for not doing it!!
 
Just to be clear, I have zero problems with hunting. My dad and I are pretty much the only men in our family who don't. And I imagine him not hunting played a role in how I turned out, too.

I have no respect for people who kill just to kill and leave them there or worse, wounded. Can't get on board with people who swerve to purposely hit animals (I've got no beef with you if you don't slam the breaks or swerve to miss and risk putting yourself in danger, but going out of your way to kill something just doesn't sit well with me).

But that's why I would suck in an apocalypse. I'd probably resort to cannibalism because I'd have an easier time shooting a hipster than a cute little rabbit lol.
 
Yeah I personally can't kill an animal, my friends hunt and I have no problem cleaning and cutting the meat but I just can't be like "**** you, lights out," and pull the trigger lol

I appreciate the clarification! Lol. For the record... I absolutely refuse to hit an animal with my car, and have been known to stop in the road and wait for them to take their time across! I also will not hunt squirrels, I found out they mate for life and I just cant kill some poor animals husband or wife!

Posted this a month ago...

Driving down the highway to work this morning and I pass some left-over fur from a possum that had been hit several days ago; I see another spot a couple hundred feet up from it in the middle of the road and pull to the right -- until I realize as I pass it that it's a turtle.

Ughhhhh --- start slowing down and find the nearest spot to turn around about a quarter mile up the road. Head back, put my 4-ways on and start slowing down.

Stop right there and put in park; wave my arms and hold up a "one sec" finger to the car rolling up behind me (luckily nothing oncoming -- props for the timing, God) as I run to the turtle that is legitimately on the yellow line and I'm amazed it got out there / hasn't been hit.

Realize it's a snapping turtle (and big; probably should've known with how big it was to begin with).

Great.

No towel to wrap him up with (since we were in the pool yesterday and Ashley sat on the one towel I keep in the trunk and it's at home in the laundry lol), so I think, "Maybe he'll just let me gently carry him to the grass." Nope. Nope. Not one bit.

So now I'm trying to usher this turtle across the road while he hisses and snaps back around at me and I run around him in circles like an idiot slowly getting him to inch in one direction and then rotating between picking him partially up / pushing him and nudging him with my foot.

After about 90 seconds of song and dance, finally got him into the grass. Had a nice line of cars behind me at this point lol. So props to them on their morning commute for letting me save that ungrateful jerk's life (it would've done some serious damage to anyone's car who hit it, too, though).

So that's how my morning started...

I risked fingers trying to take a lure out of a snapping turtle's beak and hand. Terrifying. Use the rim of my net to hold it's scary ass mouth open and the longest pliers I had to get the lure back.
