np. I am using 12.5mg ED right now and no signs of anything. I may back it down to 10mg ED to see if I can manage that. I'm not very prone to gyno *knock on wood* but I know that a progestin has aggrivated it for me in the past. the aromasin is probably my savior for bloat and gyno....
 
good to hear! I know im a big advocate of aromasin based on paper and studies etc but ive never used it so your feedback is apprieciated. Im definately gonna get some now. Ill probably start at 25mg eod then increase to ed as the esters kick in. I found a cheap source so ill probably just stock up for the future.

sounds like a good plan. aromasin is more attractive to me than arimidex
 
Okay I have my FIRST ISSUE HERE: I have an abscess the size of a golf ball if not bigger in my right ventroglute. This is the first time this has happened. I did my last shot on thursday. My gf did it in my glute as usual. Didnt hurt any more than norm during the inject, but I think I accidentally moved a bit which may have made the needle dig around a little in there.

It flared up this afternoon when I noticed it. Now it hurts to lay on, touch, stretch my legs and glutes. etc. the only difference training wise was that I worked back on thursday after the shot, and started with deadlifts (taxing on glutes).

Is this something about which I should be deeply concerned?
 
I have had it do that twice but it just went away. i have heard about that turning out bad though
 
yea I would like to catch it before it turns bad. I was thinking about going to a doc and trying ot get antibiotics. I dont know how I should explain why I have an issue there. Should I just say that I dont know how it is forming?
 
Okay: went to the local ER today to get this bump checked out. I told the doctor everything I was doing. He didnt react in a negative way. He greeted me, "hey man" He said it didnt seem like an abscess and it wasn't worth lancing. He then called for the surgery resident to come down and give it a second look. He came down with needles and Bac water and everything and looked at it and said it was "nothing to worry about" Just a hematoma he thinks. (meaning an entrapment of blood) from hitting a capilary or something. He said to ice it and take 800mg ibuprofen for a few days and it should be fine. NOT an abscess, thank god.

Note: He said I was doing the injections in the right spot and I told him the procedure was sterile. The male nurse came in after and was like "dude get off the steroids...seriously. If you told me that when I asked you if you were taking any medicines, I Would have yelled at ya." He said that in a sort of humorous tone, but he was serious nonetheless.

of course these doctor's arent experts on steroid use, but even as educated medical professionals, they seem not to know much at all except "if he's taking steroids" hes a stereotypical guy who juices, abuses, and whatever." (this is the attitude the nurse seemed to have. I verbally proved some of my knowledge to the doctors and they didn't address the issue like that.

anyway. It should be fine. The doc said I was better off injecting myself in the quad. Fewer nerves and vessels.

I dont hear much about this, but he seemed to express concern about whether I was risking hitting the bone with the needle. I have plenty of muscle on me and not tooo much bf, so 1inch needle does me well. But in delts for example, I dont know how close I am to the bone. He said hitting the bone could result in some medical condition, Cant remember it exactly, but, "osteomatosis" ??

anyone else give this issue any worry when injecting themselves?
 
MORE EXCITING UPDATE:::: week 8 is approaching. I put everything to paper and made all my dosage calculations. I will have just enough gear to do my little 4 week blast with slin and higher dosages, and then taper off until post cycle therapy.

heres how it will look:

week 8:
1000mg Test
750mg EQ

Week 9:
1000mg Test
750mg EQ

Week 10:
1000mg Test
750mg EQ

Week 11:
1000mg Test
750mg EQ

Week 12:
1000 Test
750mg EQ

Week 13:
750mg Test
500mg EQ

Week 14:
500mg Test

Week 15:
500mg Test
OR
250mg Test and start the orals

Week 16:
orals
(epi, trenaplex, furazadrol, or any combo of them.)--[I have a PP clone around in case these compounds aren't strong enough and I start to loose muscle.)

Week 17:
orals



I would rather stop the EQ two weeks before Test, that way theres less worry about its ester clearance.

anyone share opinions about week 15: whether I should use just 500mg Test or use 250mg T and start the orals.

well what I actually did was two things: i did the calculations so that I wouldn't have much if any of the compounds left over, since I had enough to spare, I figured the bump in doses would compliment the cycle and the insulin use well by giving my body a little shock treatment.

i was meaning something totally different....

you know the standard 500mg test cycle will clear after two weeks but when using more test you have to wait longer for test levels to get down to natty levels....youd be looking at longer than 2 weeks clearance time......

Your dosage numbers look fine. Keep week 15 at 500mg of test. I am not really familiar w/ those orals except PP. PP by the way is great to run in mid cycle with testosterone...test seems to really bring out the best in PP as far as strength gains go. I'd save the PP for some other time...it might make recovery a little harder if you use it by itself at the end here.

I like your use of insulin and IGF-1 LR3. I also like to see that you plan on running IGF-1 into the first two weeks of post cycle therapy. You might also consider using slin some in PCT as well. The science indicates that insulin stimulates the pituitary in encouraging gonadotropin release....so even if the effect is minimal it should help get the HPTA functioning. Also insulin will help you keep those gains...creatine and glutamine would be good to take at the time of the slin shot as well.

I am about a week into a very smooth post cycle therapy myself and I believe the IGF-1 & insulin really are responsible...I used no HCG at anytime during the 20 week testosterone cycle and never really felt surpressed, nor any real shrinkage...

** By-the-way I assume you have run insulin before and know how. If not get a glucometer and start the dose low and measure your blood sugar at different times after your shot so you can figure out the curve.




so....

I figure if I do the taper after the higher dosed period I will still be ending on 500mg test. Possibly even 250mg (week 15) if there is in fact a carry-over effect from the higher dosed period.

any thoughts?

P.S:: this is why I will be running shorter esters from now on... much easier to control the hormone levels.
 
i read that before, i would think tapering back down to 500mg for a week or possible two weeks wouldnt balance the see saw with the gram of test youre taking for 5 weeks, no? Did you use the roid calc? I think 2 weeks would still have your test levels above normal but you could still possibly "force" yourself into post cycle therapy with enough SERM, im speculating...not ideal but probably doable.

The roid calc only helps so much. I've been talking with DatbTrue about this. He said that even if the taper doesnt allow my test to be below 10mg, it should still be low enough to start PCT. I may wait another half of a week but wasting a few SERM doses on speculation couldnt hurt. It could probably only help.
 
first shot of slin went well today. I shot 2.5IU into left Delt immediately after drinking 75g dex-malto and 55g whey. I then followed up one hour later with about 15 egg whites and 4 slices ezekiel bread. I feel ok. I may have felt a little weird about 25 mins after the shot. I didnt know if it was placebo or not, so i chewed on a few glucose tabs anyway. The slin should clear pretty soon. people recommend not eating fat until after 4 hours post slin shot. This is also usually with humulin-r (slower onset) and under the assumption it was shot sub-q (slower absorption.) I wonder if it is still going to be an issue if I have some EVOO with my next meal. I doubt it.....2.5IU is minimal, and It should have cleared by then.
 
alright I put 3cc's oil in my right quad yesterday for the first time. IT was the smoothest inject so far. However, today it hurts like a *****. Going up stairs, pressing on the injection spot etc. and not to mention this "hematoma" on my right v-glute. my entire right side is effed. so much for a leg workout today. Ill move my rest day to today and try legs tomorrow. or maybe I will just do back today...idk.

I'm worried about this hematoma....the doctor said if I iced it, rested and took about 800mg ibuprofen per day by monday it should be better. well today is tuesday and its the same. It cannot be seen through the skin, however a very hard dense bump can be felt by touch. If I lay on it it feels like Im, laying on a fist sized ball. Its abotu the size of golf ball but not as round, more ovular and flattened out. It hurts to touch, sit on it wrong, lay on it wrong, flex the glute etc. I'm not so much worried that its an abscess, but the doc said that it was so small he didnt need to drain it. I am beginning to think this thing may not go away on its own. I will give it a few more days, and by Saturday if its not better, I'm going back to the ER.
 
It should go away i had one do that one time and it took 2 weeks for it to start to go away. just keep an eye on it
 
any thoughts as to why I get occasional itchiness outbreaks. Mostly on my back, usually when I'm doing my first few sets in the gym. Its not a typical itch, and since I can hardly scratch my own back I run to a rack and rub my back on it. Its weird. Sometimes I get it on the back of my neck a little too. DHT?
 
my back gets itchy at random times too. i thought it could be acne but i have yet to see anything in the mirror.
 
UPDATE: Hematoma- the pain is subsiding quickly, and so is the bump, so that is good. Also, the pain in my quad from the 3 cc inject is gone.

Cycle- first week with slin is done. I went 2.5IU the first day, then a day off, then 5IU the third day, then 8IU the fourth day, and today I shot 10IU. I progressively increased my protein and carb intake with the shot. Today I had about 120g carbs in a 1 part malto- 2 parts dextrose ratio with about 65g protein. Slin sucks this right UP!!!. (15g creatine too). If I ate that normally PWO I'd be soo bloated and fat within a day. I am taking HCA with the slin and no fat after the slin until I go to sleep. I workout around 5 and shoot around 6:15. So I make sure not to go to sleep until about 12 or 12:30. (just to be safe). I monitor any symptom of hypo, and occasionally I chew on a glucose tab or sip on some Jones Root beer (sweetened with pure cane sugar not HFCS).

I can literally see myself getting slightly bigger and more full by the day.

I have heard that one should not take slin more than 3-4 times per week, and in cycles of about 4 weeks. I am only using 10IU PWO once a day. Would it be safe to shoot it 5 times per week (I train 5 days out of 7) M T Th F S.... so its not like 5 consecutive slin shots. Just wondering...I'd rather take less risk if the one day is going to make that much of a difference.

THe 1g test and 700mg Bold is treating me well. I'm definitely growing at a much faster pace now.

well my mentality is, take weight the beginning, work my ass off, make visual progress, and concern myself with the weight and aesthetics after. that way it's even more to contrast with the initial stats. More of a reward in my opinion. I'm blowing the EFF up tho i can say that in confidence. lol

my hunger issues are pretty effing nuts. I think the higher dosed EQ is giving em to me. I DONT STOP EATING. once in a while I actually wait a WHOLE 2 HOURS between meals. Otherwise I'm just eating meals, and then smaller meals like whey and nuts or whey and ezekiel cereal between meals. and between a meal and a snack, I am munching on something. Its ridiculous and expensive. I love it though

STEROID UPDATE:
I was planning on using Trenaplex during the ester clearance time...however. i do not feel this is the best idea becuase of its progestin -ish activity (if it converts to tren)...I this will only make it harder to recover. I will ben using milder compounds: furazadrol and Epistane together. Hopefully that is strong enough to hold the gains. If not I will sub one out and replace it with a phera clone.

For the Trenaplex. (Its non methylated) I am running it now, durign this little "blast" period.

INSULIN UPDATE:

I've decided to limit insulin usage to 3 times per week at 10IU PWO. I think this is a happy medium as far as benefit to risk ratios are concerned. Slin is treating me well. Its starting to fill me right out.
 
Okay so my last shot was in my left quad to break that one it. It is less sore (the quad at least) but right above my knee cap and a bit off to the left it hurts like hell (to flex at the knee too), and also, its swollen. I wonder if this is normal? I think sfearl mentioned this happened to him in his log, I'll look through it again to see. The swelling got bad after todays back workout where I did bentover barbell rows. (puts pressure on the knee since I incorporate a slight deadlift movement into the row. --maybe irritated the area which was already a little irritated?

when i do deadlifts and set the weight down, i feel horribly out of shape. breathing reaaaaaallllly heavily, huffing and puffing hard! i'm thinking about adding light cardio in towards the tail end of my cycle to help with this. i hate cardio!

as far as the injection soreness/swelling, it sounds like what i experienced. it felt like the oil migrated its way down and settled a lot lower than the injection site itself. it'll go away just give it a few days. my injections have been less sore each time so i imagine it has something to do with breaking the muscles in like you said.

yea thats what it feels like. (the oil moved down to above the knee cap.) its getting better.
 
okay. For my last quad injection I massaged, used a heating pad, and massaged again-3cc's and no pain at all.

Cycle update: I'm sitting at about almost 240lbs, pretty clean weight. I have been eating like a mofo lately. I wanna sqeez every bit of muscle out of this cycle, even if I put on some fat.

I bought trenaplex a while ago to bookend with, but I dont think it's going to be strong enough, and becuase of tren's nature, I think it will only make it harder to recover. I think I will use PP to bookend with (or get a lil crazy and just run superdrol which will probably cut me up a bit).

--I am using the trenaplex now. non 17aa, and supposedly non toxic. I am going to just use it all up. should work well with the Test.

i was 205lbs. I may have increased my bf% by 2-3% but nothing significant. I am going to try to sqeez 250 out of this cycle so I have more to work with when I cut up. (hopefully more net muscle)
 
Dam man, those are some unreal gains. Nice work. Just goes to show what a well planned cycle can do for a person.

I have been gone for thanksgiving and i come back and you have gained another 20 pounds !!!!!!!!!!! wow:thumbsup:
