Another epic thread started by none other then our very own MarcuszzZZZzzzzZzzzZzzZzzzzzZ!

How you been bro? Still drinking casein?

im wondering this also

My brother and I both are freaks about whiten our teeth and we talked about this last night. I drink bulk unflavored WPI and I never drink pop or coffee and I still have to whiten my teeth to keep them bleach white. I also rinse with listerine whitening rinse and brush at least twice daily. So just buy more strips

What kind of strips do you use? I always used the listeren strips but can no longer find them. They were dirt cheap and worked better then the 80$ ones!

I think casein does. I don't usually drink it, but if I do it's after I brush my teeth before bed. Can't sleep, starving, etc. So when I do slam down a casein shake I wake up with this build up. If I do it several nights in a row, behind my bottom front teeth has a hardened film that I literally have to scrape off.

The protein shakes i drink are heavy on colouring, I attribute them to my stained teeth. Luckily my health insurance pays 500 dollars a year for dentistry and so I manage to fudge teeth whitening into that as dental cleaning and plaque prevention or something a couple of times a year.

Unless your only food intake is protein shakes, I'm not sure how you came to this conclusion. Just breathing is going to cause yellowing and some people are more prone than others. If it's really that bad, I would recommend saving your money from buying strips over and over and having them professionally done.

Brush after your shake...

A good compromise is to have them professionally done, get them to where you want them, then using the strips for maintenance.

The strips can get you ultimately to the same goal as professional dental peroxides, they simply take longer

Brush your teeth more. It's probably the easiest thing anyone can do to increase their health, too.

Within reason. You can cause gingival recession if you brush too hard/often

Twice a day, 2 minutes. Soft bristled brush. Gentle motions. Definitely the last thing before sleeping

Salivary flow decreases at night which acts as a buffer against acidic erosion. The worst thing you can do is eat after brushing, then go to sleep

Look into oil pulling, it helps with whitening teeth

That looks like snake oil...and I say this after seeing only the first sentence on their website

They even go so far as to claim you can heal malignant tumors by holding oil in your mouth...
