Keep rocking it out PM. The log is fantastic. Keep up the phenomenal work ethic.Workout #14TrainingA. DE Foam Bench Press - 8x3 @ 225 + ChainsEnergy = 5/5
B. DB Floor Press - 3x10 @ 120's
C. Plate Raise - 3x12 @ 70
D. 1/2 Flies with chains - 2x25
E. Push Ups - 2x50 w/ chains.
Stellar energy today. One of those days were you just don't feel like leaving. Got a great nights sleep last night so I had a good amount of energy to begin with and the Core Zap just made it outrageous. Looking forward to ME squats tomorrow!Focus and Mood = 4/5Felt like a million bucks again, my focus got a little sidetracked between exercises because I am trying to find a good training partner and seen a possible fit for the position so I kind of invested a little to much time chatting between presses and floor presses. Oh Well.Strength = 4/5Everything was feeling smooth today and force on my lifts was incredible. During floor presses I was coming a full pause on the bottom and still exploding up throughout the sets no problem. Got a crazy pump doing the last two exercises, with a routine like mine pumps are few and far between so its inspiring when I do get one.Thermogenisis = 4/5Thanks to Core Zap I have purchased some new lifting clothes so that I am not doing my laundry every few days, just been sweating like crazy. My pants have been fitting better and I have actually lost about 5-6 pounds since starting the log, with out really trying. Strength's going Up, bloat and weights going down, Pmiller's going to be jacked before you know it!
Rochester or Buffalo? If buffalo Im in.we are draggin the sled and pushing silverados in the city tomorrow... you in homie?
RochesterRochester or Buffalo? If buffalo Im in.
The chains are I use are 30lbs per side including the stringer. So about 25lbs gets deloaded on the movement per side.Excellent numbers. How do your hips/hammies feel after that combo? haha
Do you use 20lbs groups of chain?
You know, you gotta do what you gotta do to get free clams. :dance:Continued nice work P, way to adapt on the fly.
Great for definition......Thermogenisis = 4/5...I noticed after the workout my bodytemp seemed to stay elevated for a long time...
Excellent log man!! You're really nailing those weights too! Keep hammering hard! THE THUNDERGOD
nice lifts buddy... keep rockin out! :head:
Thanks Guys, Last couple workouts this week so I am really going to try and kill it.Congrats on the PRs man.
Hey man everyone has those days. I would say you still put in some pretty solid work there. Chalk it up as an off day and move on...you'll kick some ass next time out. Never look back, just push forward and use the disappointment as motivation. Keep rockin it out bud.Workout #21TrainingA. Foam Press - Doubles working up to 345+Chains Missed 365 w/Chains
B. DB JM Press - 4x10 @ 50's Plus 2xMonsterMini Band
C. Incline CG press - 3x15 Chains + 25lbs plates suspended w/ bands in cable handes - 3x3 @ 225 + Chains ( 50 pounds of band suspended plates.)
D. Front Raise - 3x10 @ 70
Energy = 4/5Energy was really steady today. Once I noticed the Zap I did not notice it diminish for a couple hours. Just killed my training and had energy to go into work right after. Sorry If I sound redundant but Core Zap produces clean, sustained energy, Period.Focus and Mood = 5/5I think I was a little too focused on training today. During my rest between sets I was thinking how I could make the next exercise crazier than what I had originally planned. After the sets with the weights suspended with the bands I would get up and couldn't help but laugh after because it was just so out of the ordinary.Strength = 3/5I don't know, just didn't feel like I was hitting the numbers I wanted to on presses today. My strength was there, but the power wasn't on my foam presses. Everything else felt pretty good, but I just was getting that explosiveness today, up until the incline presses. I felt really explosive during those which actually makes them harder lol. I probably should have warmed up better or something.Thermogenisis = 4/5Like always got a great thermogenic response. I did the JM presses on the floor, and after my first set I took my hoodie off and lied down on the floor that was covered with a good dusting of chalk. When I got up it made a perfect chalk angel on the floor because my entire body had sweat to pick up the chalk lol. I moved to a different spot on the floor to preserve my creation.
Yeah, got a lot of bench sessions to go still in my time so I am not going to stress to much, just come back and move some weights next week.Hey man everyone has those days. I would say you still put in some pretty solid work there. Chalk it up as an off day and move on...you'll kick some ass next time out. Never look back, just push forward and use the disappointment as motivation. Keep rockin it out bud.
Cheers!

Honestly that is probably one of the best things that has influenced my training for the better. Having any sort of plan is better than going into a workout with nothing. It helps keep you focused and makes the workouts intense. The talking to yourself is another great tactic too, if you repeat the same phrase throughout your training career it can actually tell your body to get a full force lift. I always mumble under my breath before a big lift, "Light Weight" or during a lift I have one spotter that always yells "Up" and that really helps me out.Not only do I record my workouts that I have completed, I also write out my next workout before hand with the projected weights and reps that I plan to hit. And if I fail to get the weight and reps that I wrote down, I become furious and feed off of the anger!! I start talking smack to myself like, "Come on Thunder, where's the Odin-Force within you?" "Train like the god that resides within you!!":box: Works for me!! THE THUNDERGOD:hammer:
Reminds me of Pavlov's experiment with his dogs!...The talking to yourself is another great tactic too, if you repeat the same phrase throughout your training career it can actually tell your body to get a full force lift...
If you think about it most of our behavior is based around classic conditioning, so why not use it for our own benefits.Reminds me of Pavlov's experiment with his dogs!
