PH Warnings

Why do the prohormone warnings say do not take if you are using anti-depressants? I take a very small dose of an anti-depressant because I have insomnia and it helps me sleep. Is there any harm that it can do to your body by mixing these, or is it strictly mental?
 
I wouldn't do it. Check out threads like "PH and anxiety". I would steer clear of taking if you are on anti-depressant.

I would just add whether you are on anti-depressants or not, you shouldn't take them if you are depressed period...

Hormonal inbalances are one of the root causes of depression. Orals tend to fluctuate blood levels significantly, raise anxiety, and an improper PCT can cause major suicidal ideations.
 
Dude i also take amitryptiline (25mg low dose anit-d) for insomnia. I had no trouble with the depression or anxiety on my hdrol cycle.

This is my experience, i don't know how you will handle the gear.
 
Im only on the trifecta stack which to my knowledge is a more milder ph than say h-drol i do believe, and i have the pct made by lg specifically for methyl 1 d, so i feel as if I should be ok.
 
just be careful most likely you will be fine but the hormonal imbalances for some can be to much... i myself have used while on many antidepressants and the mood swings were crazy..no longer on any of them but when im in PCT im like a moody 13 year old girl..but everyone is different
 
It very much depends on the type of anti-depressant you are taking. You can't just group them all together. It also depends on the age group of the person taking the medications. Plus anti-depressants are used for other problems too, not just people who are clinically depressed.
 
Women have "hormonal" issues every month. This could potentially be you--or even worse. Running PH and SSRI could be a bad one. Just my 2cents...i'm not gonna be the one who says it is okay. good luck.
 
I was taking Zoloft for sever depression and anxiety and did a cycle. I had no problem with it, and I actually believe that the combination of the PH's and meds helped my imbalance in my brain. I actually have not had to take my anit-depressants since that cycle and have been great since then. I'm not saying that it would be the same for you or anyone else, but that was my experience.

It's not as much the "being on" that is the danger...it's the sudden drop in androgen levels.
 
I wish I found this thread before.. All I read up on where the positives thinking I was a healthy person to begin with.
Now 4 weeks into a hdrol cycle, I am struggling big time with depression and elevated blood pressure.
Stopped the Cycle this morning 2 weeks early.. Starting pct today..

No more orals for me, sticking with Sus 250.. Had minimal sides on that...
