Yeah, the more momentum you try to create the more resistance it adds right? At least up to the point that it hits it's top resistance correct?

Nice job getting it done!

Thanks brother, ahh yeah it will respond to speed/impulse to a safe point.. if you are paying the $59 /mo service charge.

Otherwise, Tonal literally acts like a (+/-) 1lbs increment Free motion cable Cross /functional trainer machine, once you turn off the Tonal service. It's dual pulley stack time.

Which actually turns off the annoying (over sensitive) form detection dings too often.. with it off, treat it like cables at the gym.. allows me "hang and stretch" some shoulder and spine and neck> jaw issues to be worked out without dings (basically Physical therapy + lifting). Tap screen + dial-wheel = manual Adjust weights like a dual pulley setup with free arms.

It is really just horrible that the machine can not do the same physical things without the membership... I can understand losing the auto programs and auto logging features but the magnetic resistance being dynamic should not be one of them.

That's okay, it forced me to get good at the strong app and instead of getting my fancy "pyramid per rep" with Tonal dynamic resistance.. strong app has last set and PR tracking feedback on screen, so I know exactly where I was last time I did any exercise.

So Strong app get all the tracking features of Tonal (more in a way since it goes with me to any gym setup) and and I just plan for manual pyramid sets and more volume now and it makes you smarter that way. The higher volume on Test -EQ feeling good too.

Tonal dynamic resistance is their thing I guess so they protect it with the $/mo fee, agree it should be in free mode and still give me "power under the curve" not just lbs and I lose all the coaches and programs.

S'ok it's still a good setup for $3k, that's rolls up when it hails here.

Can't say that about a $7k-$10k Free Motion, my car would be getting golf balled without Tonal fold flat fast in garage lol.

Strong sounds like a good app. I am going to get on the RP Hypertrophy App once it is released on the 23rd. I have been listening to their books and really wanted to dedicate a huge chunk of this year to their methods of progression, autoregulation and grading how effective the exercises were in different characteristics that cause hypertrophy. I just want to nail down some very valuable practices going forward. Make the most out of all of my hard training effort, while not beating my joints to death.

His app is going to ask 3 questions about each exercise on a 1-3 scale tracking the stimulation of target muscle, fatigue, and pump of the sets to help you know when to adjust weights, sets and volume. If any of those or all of those start falling off you know it is time to change something with that exercise or swap it out. Since it will be automated for me to do, it will help me be consistent in tracking those things.

And Today's lunch chest and triceps workout before next meeting.

Wow, gotta say the more I use Strong App to log and use Tonal + dumbbells, now that kids + wife finally out of the house in the day... just crank the music, little FOCUS on breath / contract / full-range / slow when needed.

First really good chest + triceps pump in awhile. Tricep pumps arent' hard to get for me, but chest is so happy with cable + dumbbells and really focus on the contract each rep.

NEXT Mission - before weekend - derust and season large Blackstone griddle. Bulk cook with the family, tend to the veggie garden this weekend.

I might try 1-hr per day 4-5 days per week, to get more body splits in - I mean sh*it the Tonal is in my garage with the weights, just go more often...

If I solve the food _+ time management daily, then more gains and cuts can be had. Got the stevia monkfruit sweetners now to minimize the sugar use.
The blackstone griddles are nice! I do most of my meal prep on it on the weekends makes it a breeze for cooking all the chicken, and it’s delicious.

Awesome, I can't wait. After moving in we did two initial cooks for house warming and I made the classic mistake of letting it sit and rust (didn't clean + season the iron before winter)..so got giant pumice stone work and iron season work and then I'll be back in business lol.

Feel free to post some food P0rn here of your Blackstone for motivation. :)

I haven’t had mine rust by I do take it to bare metal in the spring and re season. I found a grinder and wire wheel to make it faster than the pumice stone.

What dose are you running that at, and how does that 400 test mix feel? Any PIP or anything with all of the esters?

Never had pip from anything of Advanced Pharma, just Running Test E300 and EQ 250. Sundays 1mL each.

The only thing I had pip or minor swelling from was their Test Mix + EQ 600 (400+200) in one mL.. that's too toxic for me, but when I separate and use 2ml as noted from two separate vials of Test and EQ.. to get the job done and changes the oil ratio perfectly fine no pip or any discomfort.

I'll continue the plain oil run here for awhile as I always feel good on Test and EQ.

Got a full bloodwork panel waiting to use mid cycle before the @Msten finisher and transition to non methyl Trenavar and then plan TRt again (a PCT on TRT type days)..

Man been thinking though, enclomiphene on cycle for Testicular volume. I'm lucky enough to have a good sized bat, but the 40% ball shrinking isn't cool.. if your girl/wife/mistress gets horny playing with them, ugh.

Some chicks aren't into that of course, so to stay in shape and worn to get muscles now and keep the big bat swinging.. but then TRT shrinking the marbles is a mixed trade off for sure. I already had the kids, don't care about the sperm side just want them back at regular volume.

Anyone use enclomiphene on cycle to restore testicular volume? I asked my urologist he's been chill with Test Cyp 200 and Cialis 20mg might as well go for the enclomiphene too, he brought it up (probably as alternative to the TRT opens he was noting he could offer)

See I purerawz sells a good bit of this and they have a armistane + enclomiphene blend called gonads, lol.

Oh Okay, I thought you were using the test and eq combo originally. I was planning on getting separate bottles too so I could run the doses I wanted. Plus, I am not big on the idea of test decanoate having such a long half life.

Both are good (the Test Mix 400 and Test E 300) never really worried about the Test D's long half life, overall the Test Mix 400 does work pretty darn well in bloodwork and you feel pretty strong and lean, little more than plain Test C/E perhaps (subjective experience). But with EQ in the mix plain Test is all that is needed.

Nice job working your way out of that pair of dumbbells! That’s always a good sign, needing to buy more weights
Thanks! This inspired me to step up to the Bowflex Selecttech 1090s (got pair 1090's now on sale for $650 + dumbbells stand + tablet holder $149)

And I got a better 90 hyperextension bench from Marcy pro. So been practicing some basic standing poses and I think this sh*t needs to be taught for spinal health and posture. Seriously, if I stand straight pull legs together, tighten abs, vacuum the stomach and then... Squeeze the glutes when standing upright. Jesus I can crack and realign.mlst of my lower spine now, that's friggin amazing my core and lower lumbar and hips were so God awful when I started.

Same deal with upper bicep flex poses and back shoulder stuff, sh*t literally feels good cause it fixes posture and cracks the back (damn computer work).

Staring at this preacher curl bench from ER Kang fitness too, that's next def.

Surprised, honestly I had a pair of 1090s sold to a good buddy of mine, few years back '18 after benzo withdrawal grandmal seizure issues.
shouldn't have given up on myself... It Does prove the Tonal, other functional trainers do work for strength and ROM for lanky and stiff mofos if you lack a PT and yoga + weight lifting coach. I would not have gone back up in strength and flexibility to need Selecttech 1090s without it.

Lebron James powered by Tonal.. so, yeah me too and it's allowing me to get back to the free weights at a respectable range.

You can start doing some deadlifts/RDLs with those 1090s too, and weighted hyper extensions holding them with arms hanging. That will beef your posterior chain up a lot over time. And you can db squat whatever you are able to clean up to your shoulders.

Fortunately a reasonable one, well still need to finalize the ink on that Monday.. should be OK glide path wise. Of course, since I know where all there tech-bones are buried, it's 16-weeks salary plus my 2022 bonus % for severance hush $ deal... Can't say anything bad about them and vica versa.

I'm not going to stop exercising, just going to be sporadic for a bit... and once I clean up house and office and got some new career leads going... I'll be back in the gym to keep at it and balance stress and try to keep the muscles going and spine feeling strong.

Thanks my man, appreciate it! Got some good leads, just a shock to the system when you're a foundational member to a new tech/energy company and I worked for a 'covert narcissist' who upquit on me and slowly drove me out for more of his good ol boys from the past.

Hope all is going well, just checking in.
It's going pretty well, severance package started and so I've been just focusing on putting new career irons in the fire. Hope be have down selected and landed new role after July 4th sometime.

Dropped back to TRT dose, eating lean so I can pickup here this week ideally.. took a break to really clean out mind / office / getting some last house fixes done on the new place. That have been lagging like a year+.

I'm going to PM you about Ultieg too, looks promising, and fortunately have some first round interviews for solid product development/management jobs so it's a good time to hunt now.

Tomorrow start back up in gym I think again after that haitus, gotta keep going. Selecttech 1090s dumbbells and better Marcy pro hyperextension built now and do ready to pressure wash out the garage gym, but I'll probably just leaf air blow it tomorrow to get back it.

Thanks my man.

Well.got the garage gym redone and cleaned up. Marcy pro 90 hyperextension bench totally.worth it.

If I had the $400 extra I'd got the body solid brand of this, but for $100.hard to beat this. I'm sitting at 6'2" and 207lbs at the moment and was able to really get the posterior and spine too snap/crackle/pop and stretch with a slow back and biceps day today.

Which I needed because everytime.i get out of the gym for more.than a couple.weeks it's like I gotta rebuild endurance and get spine/joints all aligned and loose again. Then I can lift at better pace between sets.

Thanks! The Marcy pro is a 90-degree hyperextension bench, so doesn't fold flat, but honestly with my hamstrings and spine I use it with the abs board before most all workouts as a stretch and prep.. no need to put away.

The Titan fitness 45-degree hyper bench was good, folded flat with pin pull.. but couldn't get the same full hanging hamstrings and spine realign I get on a 90-degree hyper bench like this $110 Marcy pro or pricier $400 and nicer Body Solid ones.

Someone got lucky at the central TX goodwill as that's where I sent my extra gym gear, dress clothes and some other good stuff (Merax dumbbells 75lbs) to make room.

Preacher curl bench will be nice next, but just discovered Tonal lying 💪 biceps curls and that also helps isolate and prevents any cheat.

Ahh! Now the spine and shoulders feel better. Did a bunk of wood and jigsaw stuff this weekend and so finally back in rotation on shoulders day with some dead lift and hyperextensions at the front to get the spine right first.

Plan to resume.TestEQ here in a bit, but TRT zone for now...

Also anyone ever Enclomiphene TRT regimen + periodic PED like Msten, etc? Been researching the action how it works and seems like Urologist will put you on daily enclomiphene instead of TRT (your choice) and reading NIH results I'm going to try it.

It also restores testicular volume to normal - important to some (not all) ladies/wives/mistresses lol.

Getting muscled up is good, but she misses my more square jaw.and lean look at 190-195lbs im creeping to 210lbs and have a bit of moon face.

Long overdue to get bloodwork panels and post updated weights and pics...

Nearly secured two good career roles working on my own design, also formed my own consulting engineering LLC for side $ too.

Man you can’t be running EQ or any AAS with enclomiphene; that works by stimulating natural production and it’s not going to work beyond stacking with something like a low dose of Anavar.

Yeah, if you are running gear all the enclomiphine is going to do is increase the volume of your loads but not provide testosterone production in the face of higher androgen levels. So on cycle your test will dip, and it will be like you aren't on TRT. Stick to injections if you plan to make TRT as anabolic as possible. Then if you want to use clomid to increase testes size and load volume then by all mean be Peter North and spray away. Just do it knowing you are only increasing testes and load size.

Muchos gracias Gents. Hard to find that kind of info directly and rationalize a strategy.. @MrKleen73 that's what I was thinking too that the PED would suppress the enclomiphene and it would be a waste, makes perfect sense.

I've seen some clinics note to use enclomiphene for testicular volume (while remaining on TRT) but that was conflicting with my Urologist was saying.go puritan either TRT or enclomiphene...but not both together.

That makes more sense if TRT base + enclomiphene to restore testes volume (the ball size back to full, load shot doesn't need peter north'd lol) if I wish to use any PED still.

Another $10 gym equipment fix here. Crazy how really good, value line gear can lose points for stupid parts.choice, design.

Sure, the Marcy Pro 90-deg hyper bench is only $110...it's not the $400 body solid brand hyper bench... But it's pretty damn good, sans one stupid part choice with an unsafe short spring pin.

Fix = $10 of an Amazon 3x pack of long 15cm x10mm steelbolts use one to replace the stupid /unsafe /too short retractable spring-pin thing for the hip pad angle adjuster. If you goto Lowes or Home Depot or find a spare long 10mm bolt all the same cheaper $1-2 fix.

MroMax M10 Hex Bolt M10-1.5 x 150mm Hex Head Screw Bolts Carbon Steel Fully Threaded Metric Hex Tap Bolts Black 3Pcs https://a.co/d/hkPeSkL

The included bolt is too short and reviews are right, it's unsafe until you do retrofit a.bolt as I did, then it's a great 90-deg hyper extension bench for the $. But Jesus that a design error, spec a longer bolt...

Also check out the dual hook Ez-curl.bar for Tonal.. felt hella good doing upright rows with that.

Titan fitness Preacher curl bench comes with this next. But nice to have the dual hook so can use all 200lbs on upright rows and curls now.

Thanks. Just a (not so) brief update here. I will pause all the Test-EQ use, and TRT even for now. Going to try enclomiphene straight up at first, see what testes volume and production can be restored first.

Still going to lift and log here, going up cardio and purposefully drop down to 190-195lbs (first attempted cut really ever). Might get some MuscleTech Euphoriq preworout and SNS Alpha Yohimbine, to offset the energy loss from TRT. Might break out all the 4-andro and epiandro supps I have too for support when needed.

Long story short, wifey misses the larger balls pre TRT I had.. So now I'm at 210lbs and a bit of fluff anyway. Just making the decision to 1.) Taper off TRT or PED, get low T bloodwork again 2.) Use 50mg enclomiphene citrate and retest bloods in 1-2 months for T-level, LH, FSH, and other markers and track and TV size improvment.

I'm hesitant to try TRT + enclomiphene (as some TRT clinics hint to), as I think it may still suppress the testes volume (TV) restoration - so rather run the trial standalone at first. Although some TRT clinics say it can work with TRT, like HCG has been shown to do..

And it seems looking at photos while my body got in better shape lifting past few years... but I now have undesirable have 'moon face' it seems now that comes from steroids, cortisol, etc. The square jaw I had is gone in photos before hand. Can't say that I like how I look in the pictures face wise now. Just had a night out in Austin at the symphony all dressed up and taking photos, yikes its clear the roundness.

1.) Would I rather have a wife who was more sexually attracted to my previous tall'ish skinniness with big D and nuts, nice squarish jaw - yes.. yet, was I unhappy then with my own musculature (let it lag from athletic in teens', 20's and early 30's), and due to party drugs, a low T state in my mid 30's also, yes. But I didn't know of the enclomiphene path back then either.
2.) And It's a 50:50 gamble whether one gets testicular volume (TV) loss, or shrinkage of nuts to pre-pubescent state over time from TRT. So I didn't get lucky here, damn it. Seemed like TV was fine for first couple years, but as of late they're just offline.
3.) In hindsight, would I rather have really muscle out look, with big D and small nuts? Probably not now. It maybe ok, except when your lady enjoys them for playtime. She kind of fib'd about it before, because she wanted me to be happy and get in shape, but probably not exchanging that side effect...

So it's a hell of a gamble TRT or blast cycles, the tradeoffs. Secondary side effect seems I got "moon face" too with shrunken balls, which sux especially if the wifey liked the face and package. I realize now she always has hand on my jawline during sex, stuff you don't realize until you get into talks later... I get it folks here are already in the pro PED category, as was I freedom and quality of male energy... but with wife and I getting past babies > toddler > young kids phase, secondary sex/romance life trying to come back, there are other factors now. Sure, yeah I'm happy my resting weight is now ~200lbs, not 170lbs at 6'2" body wise..., but not thrilled with the other changes like TV loss and moon face, extra back hair a bit too.

So, today going on enclomiphene instead of TRT, I might just hit the rowing machine, cycle more... shift lifting to more volume at medium weights until I lean up at 190-195lbs zone. And save PEDs for a future time.

Anyway - pausing the TRT and PEDs and try 50mg daily enclomiphene citrate for testes volume and production recovery as urologist noted. And, if that doesn't work, then I'm back on train TRT anyway then and PEDs are back on the menu (cause might as well get hella muscled if the balls volume goes bye-bye for good).

Yet if enclomiphene works as it should, and can be happy at lean 195lbs, kill the moon face, and get the ballz back to size... then might shelve the PED cabinet for a few years and only use TRT periodically and yes some 'risky' orals that work on a short run basis like M-Sten (which can still be recovered from perhaps vs. steady state TRT suppression of nutz).

Anyway, been pretty productive but still having some depression battles with the job-event, so even talking to the docs about SSRI's which apparently improve stamina in bed also, a bonus, since I'm on Tadalafil 20mg too. I didn't like SSRI when I was younger, but now maybe needed.

So quick question, you are as lean as before but have moonface, or you are a little softer and have moon face? I don't think you are quite as lean but could be wrong. If not as lean it could just be the extra weight.

Most people I know of use regular Clomid to get TV on TRT, and many others use HCG. So there are other ways to increase TV. If you feel you are giving up something why not try the avenue that might possibly give both of you what you want first, and then go more severe if you don't get your TV back enough to make the wife happy.

My wife doesn't give 2 craps about my ball size, which is a good thing for me because mine are like prepubescent at this point. LMAO! However it damn sure didn't make my D look smaller. :)

That's a great point I've been debating that in my head try the TRT with clomid and see if that works instead of hard cut over to clomid only.

I guess it can't hurt. Darn I just messaged the urologist, lol. So I like to give doc a consistent story. He's good and super helpful urologist. However, He is usually dealing with cancers so is TRT folks he humors us... but he told me last visits if FDA forces us to visit him every 30 days (currently at every 6-months) he's done with TRT RX work.

Yeah, it seems it would be better to crack down on those giving 300+mg a week TRT out to people with all the fixings then to make it that much harder for everyone to get legally. At 30 a visit that would increase my TRT bill so much I would probably just order black market at that point. Right now I get 15ml every 90 days for $30 with blood work twice a year. So that would be a massive jump, and if she quit doing it for that reason to then it would jump to 50 a month for a specialist.

Back to the moon face thing.. yeah I was reading up on it, a bit seems to be steroid use, or excessive cortisol (Cushing Syndrome).

Could be excess salt, water, but I also used to grind teeth and have lock jaw as it is that I always stretch out along with neck rolling, but I doubt it's facial hypertrophy 😂.

Yeah, I know moonface is a legit thing, but normally when estrogen gets out of check from my understanding. I was just curious if your bodyfat being higher might also be a part of the cause. I am often surprised by how round my face is in pictures when only a little heavier than normal, but then I lose a little weight and it goes away. Also carbs and high sodium make my face puff out too. Right now at 212 my face is a little bloated but I know why. I spilled over and am holding water anywhere it will hold. :)

If you have moonface, your estrogen or bodyfat or cortisol are too high. Stop pushing any extra AAS/PEDs, follow your 100mg per week TRT, take DIM twice a day and if your bloodwork indicates you can lower estrogen further more seriously.

Ashwaganda like in SNS Anxiety & Stress Relief can help balance cortisol to healthy ranges - I’m sure job hunting has been a real stress.

HCG or enclo with your TRT should help TV, and trying that first is much easier on you than getting off test and trying to restore natural production. That will be a VERY high cortisol process.

I’m honestly guessing you’re not realizing the extra bodyfat you’re holding at 210 vs 170s. You didn’t gain 40lbs of lean mass, some of that is bodyfat. Adding muscle does a very good job of lessening the visual impact of bodyfat to a degree, but it won’t hide it in the face. At mid 220s I was 20% bodyfat. By most standards I looked pretty decent, but that’s because I had so much extra muscle. If I was 160lbs at 20% I would have looked terrible.

So I think you should definitely cut, but stay on low TRT, add a cortisol balancing supplement, and try the enclo on top of your test first before discontinuing it. That’s my non-medical 2 cents, if you were interested in any opinions.

Agreed on cut time finally due and Time for bloodwork this week then, private labs...I had Urologist check the estrogen level last time so it was still very low (probably why knees are sore, creaky), despite Test levels being good on TRT.

Probably the fat + cortisol issue with the moon face.. if my estrogen is still tanked. And yes I'm not as lean 210lbs, I was prior few years back.. Cut is overdue anyway, get to 190-195 zone now.. just a foreign concept in practice for a former tall-ish ectomorph athlete who used to be fairly lean until lately..

Took your's and Kleens advice to Taper back to TRT dose and add Enclomiphene (also trying selected Lactobacillus Reuteri probiotic to max out the TV restoration) while on TRT 100mg/week for now. I'll give it a month or two at that and see if TV improves *cross fingers*.

I was think effectiveness of the switch to pure enclomiphene trial would be tougher, but better if works to get me back to 500-700 ng/dL Test level (seems doable via some study results).. then allowing gonads to do natural juice production would make for the best TV recovery case I was thinking (even if it's a low energy, cortisol high month or two to switch).

About urologist.. I had the clomiphene trial on pause in his mind, until I messaged yesterday.. doh! EDIT - ok good, he was OOO, so messaged again I said I'm going to stay on TRT, get the SSRI going for depression + PE Stamina first , then said i would likely switch to enclomiphene once that's done.

In the meantime I'll run the TRT + enclomiphene + L. Reuteri combo, stsrt updated lifting and cardio to a cut and lean out face/body mode. Post updated pics and e-scale / food / supps plan - when I can soon.

New Career hunt and other extraneous life and house items should chill down here and I told wife the overall plan and she likes it too..

I think that’s the way to go since you are already on the TRT, just stack the enclomiphene on top now and if in a few months it’s not revived them sufficiently you can always still stop the shots later and try for a true HPTA restart. Or HCG therapy before that.

Summer is a good time to cut! Just avoid the beer and carbs and junk food and focus on meats and veggies. It doesn’t have to be complicated.
