I personally know the founder/owner of PES, having close involvement with the company when he started PES independently; it is not owned or related to USP Labs. You should never believe everything you "hear".

Who knows wtf is really being injected into your blood.... People want scapegoats I guess but there's certainly much more harmful things out there than USPlabs supps and PES ... We ALL use the stuff..... We're all healthy and alive lol.

Problem is there are many business relationships that can occur between companies that have nothing to do with ownership, so even something like a strategic partnership for sourcing or distribution will be viewed as a smoking gun. Truth is, in a wide variety of industries even mortal enemies have certain arrangements. Samsung makes Iphone's chips, Intel and amd share patents, Big company provides money to little company to share the result then relationship over, etc. None of it remotely equals ownership or sister company.

A couple of things to take away from this thread....

1) Is PES owned/operated by USP Labs? I can't even pretend to care about this.

2) This thread was highly effective, in the sense that it influenced me to no longer purchase products from a company. A company that seemingly LOVES to inject itself into the middle of all things drama related.

--was the point of this thread to imply a PES/USP connection?

--was it to imply aegeline is harmful?

--was it to tie both assumptions together and implicate 2 companies for using the same ingredient?

--has anything been PROVEN beyond making implications?

--should I care about any of this?

Or maybe the whole idea for the thread is to change and debate random topics aimlessly while pointing fingers.

The world loves drama, and has become increasingly effective at creating it.
 
The one thing I find funny about all this is that no one has posted any type of proof to suggest they are affiliated. Both companies have denied it yet its still being questioned. I don't see any new evidence or any evidence period that even remotely connects the two other than PES sourcing Aegiline from USPlabs.

I think mainly because contamination if they use the same sources. Health. Some people also hold pes to a higher standard as well. I personally only care about the ingredients and my health though.

Yes I like these notion for cliff notes:

--why dose noone for USP reply on the questions pesticide concerns leading to wonder deeper profound issues in action is there I honest worry quality issues are all over the place for the third time asking cissus is safe from them since this is one I have supplies in or these pesticides they are in other their product then cissus

A lot of the companies these days BECAUSE of their reps lost my business and many that I know. Stop! Yall are making your companies look Bad! Carry on... We are here for simple truthful answers!

I wish I had an answer for you; this is the first I've heard of cissus being in question for purity. And from what I gather, there is NO evidence of contamination; use as you've been doing. Or look into another product/source of cissus if you're that concerned.

Concern occur when noone addresses issue for their consumers the longer the worse, have been brought up in family business for all my life let me tell you reputation a really good one is everything when speaking to longevity

That's an issue that's been resolved a while back, but certain people love to continue bringing it up.

If you're really looking for answers I would recommend sending a PM to one of the USP labs reps instead of posting your question in a thread that they aren't participating in. I'm sure distilled water, borobulker, breezy, or any other rep would be happy to answer you.
 
I have sent message through reputation to USPlab person about batch on cissus but he no respond so I assume he did not want a bother from individual people

Stay classy. I had no affiliation whatsoever with Driven Sports. I simply asked for "proof" (not from competitors) and once that became available, I ceased use of the product. Carry on.

Idk, he's always been that way though.

I don't know how far back they go, but he's been doing it since I found out fitness forums were a thing. IIRC his other forum handle is "neuron" and he does the same under that name as well.

I honestly don't think they care. I don't support them either, for the same reasons, but the forum population is such a small percentage of total sales that they don't seem to care about it.

They've had tons of Reps act inappropriately in competing company threads that I've seen since I started posting here. (which I know you know as well as I). Which sucks, because there are some really good guys that get thrown in the mix because they rep them too.

Yeah, rep fights always make both parties look foolish and drive customers away from both of them. Nobody wins.

I don't think IF reps anyone, he has the Hightower pharmacology site that I think he owns (or just contributes to?). But, typically I would agree with that. Realistically, no one wins any kind of fight lol.

It wasn't cissus having pesticides per se, but around the time the FDA pointed out their negligence in regards to checking over their COAs, the FDA also warned them about the labeling of super cissus since the labeling and marketing material had made actual health claims (if you make health claims, the product must then be categorized as a pharmaceutical). So the COA issue was not that one of their raws were contaminated but that their raws actually contained traces of pesticides as it clearly warned about this on the COA itself. This showed both QC issues as well as negligence in regards to checking their raws and COAs.
