Peptides for bad joints?

Smiley

Member
I have heard a lot random talks about gh helping out connective tissue in people. Any of you guys have personal experience with bad joint/tendon problems being helped out by a peptide cycle?

I'm asking because my father has a TON of bum joints with surgeries on a few of them. He goes to the doctor and gets told to take glucosamine and plan on more surgeries in the future... The guy basically told him that within 20 years his knees will be so bad he will have a lot of trouble just walking. BTW hes early 50's now.

:feedback:

is he overweight? if so the obvious thing is to lose weight. many big people have problems with joints due to all the extra weight the knees have to take.

no ive never done gh/igf peroid. I have heard some say gh is good for joints(some say deca as well...some say its not all that effective though, mildly on the deca)

I haven't heard any big success stories on gh or igf and joints

The best thing for my joints has been GABA 5g ED oral. So along those same lines, If he really wants to inject you could look into GHrp's or cjc. But obviously GABA is the cheaper, easier, more legal route.

Hes not overweight. About 5'9 165 or so. Its also more than just knees.

I've never heard of using GABA for joints future. Reading the profile i can see why though. I was thinking cjc would be a good fit. Its not cheap but dosing prob 100mcg/day wouldnt kill the wallet at all.

Just an FYI guys, increasing hgh whether its exogenous or endogenous through peptides has caused painful joints in many of our researchers....Don't see how hgh can help already aching joints...

Soloutions

The Dr.'s advice is in the right direction if not a little vague. Here's an over-the counter program you can put him on that WILL give him noticeable relief in as little as a week, and will positvely compound as he continues the therapy. Meanwhile youcan research the peps, which do infact have a sublte, but pronounced effect over time. Your SOURCE, is WALMART! Their house brand is called Spring Valley. Buy him 1. Fish oil gels, have him take 6-8 gels ED divided with meals. 2. MSM 1000 mg,have him take 4 caps a day 2AM/2PM. 3. Glucosamine/CSA tablets, have him take 3 right before bed.(this is important, because if taken during the day, the glucosamine is burned as fuel, and not directed to its primary function). I recommend this stack to ANY wieght trainer above the age of 35 as a preventative measure. ALSO in addition to the above mentioned stack, each month ADD one of the more recent developed products, such as CELEDRIN,CISSUS,etc. Rotate these additional specialized formulations, see which are most effective for him...........................And in advance,...YOUR WELCOME.:spam:

Using the Advanced search function, searching only in the IGF-1/GH section, use keyword "joint". That should provide some good reading.

I like gaijiin's homeopathic approach. If I were in your father's position, I'd rather try the OTC (retail) approach first. Peptides can be used later. They're more complicated to use: storage, reconstitution, administration, etc.

DITTO

I concurr with papa. IGF-LR3 while systemic, WILL encourage site specific satellite cell production in both connective and muscle tissue. I personally snuffed out a shoulder injury using this very approach. BUT, peptides are an advanced option, not fot the novice researcher, definitely not LR3! Use my over the counter protocol for at least 90 days first.

Didn't know glucosmaine was burned as fuel during the day. I take animal flex at the moment and Ill start taking it before bed.

I can only report on my experiences.

I agree with the fish oil too.

Futurepilot what do you notice when you take gaba as far as effecting the joints? any feelings of joint ease?

never used it for joints used it for two years for fatloss/muscle building. which i dont think it did much might have done some. it raises gh 5x's normal for only about 30 minutes..and best on a more empty stomach i like to eat something before bed to keep protein synthesis up

My joints for sure are less stiff. It may be due too any number of reasons. GABA being a neuro transmitter it may reduce stress/enhance neural cell reception. It helps with muscle tone, so that may contritbute too strengthened muscles around joints.

I use 5g oral in water before bed.

Yet it does have properties that rebuild connective tissue. I also thought the joint pain started when getting into high muscle building doses?

I just capped a bunch of cissus last week that i will also give him to see if it helps. I was thinking about more of a permanent solution though. I believe all of these otc options will help, but its a lot more than just aches. He has a lot of connective tissue damage and probably scar tissue.

Forget about the issue of difficulty. A subq injection with a 30ga wont be hard enough to stop anything. Strictly speaking about results.

Thanks guys for all the info

Pain,..always bad??

Its is true that a marked increase in GH whether exog/or endog results in "pain" in many researchers. The more important question,"Is the presence of PAIN, an indicator of a negative event, and or damage or increased wear. Think about what many of us went through in our early adolescent years when we experenced our greatest long bone growth! Remember the pain in your legs and knees??!! It was merely the rapid growth taking place. Hence the actions experienced by many researchers of secretagogues and effective GH inducing peps! :18: For a definitive answer to this query,....you might want to PM Dat. He'll give you a complete perspective on this phenomena.:type:
