Party Marty's Workout Log

Some serious size on your arms! Especially with your height its more difficult to develop! Great work, bro!

Wish I could, but Osteoarthritis in my right knee makes it pretty much a no-go. However, now that I'm single (and can pin whatever the hell I want) I've been looking at picking up some BPC-157 and seeing if that helps.

Do it to try -but keep your expectations low, regenerating cartilage is a very slow process BPC is not known for. I would supplement with gelatine and beef collagen. The beef collagen mixes well with whey shakes. Pinning sub-q right above the meniscus is virtually painless.

Thanks. I made my belly pretty big too! Haha. I'm trying to undo that now...

I got the new Strawberry Cheesecake protein by PEScience. I like it a lot. I do admit that the cheesecake flavor kind of hides behind the "strawberry cream" flavor, but it's very good. I will enjoy this tub for sure. Invalid Link RemovedInvalid Link Removed

I made a protein ice cream today using a recipe by kjkitzman. Yum!

Today was just all cardio.

Lunch: LISS Fasted Walking Cardio 30 minutes

Gym: LISS Elliptical Cardio 60 minutes

Tomorrow is a weigh-in day. I think my weight will have gone up due to the weekend, but I still like where I am.

I also baked some keto cinnamon cookies last night. 1g net carb per cookie! Invalid Link Removed

I bought and started using a hand-held fat reader, which is MUCH more accurate. Unfortunately that nixes all of my previous BF% numbers.

Weigh-In:

Today (4/4/2018): 272.1 lbs, 24.0% BF
Last (3/28/2018): 271.5 lbs, N/A% BF

Total change from last week: +0.6 lbs, -N/A% BF
Total weight lost from start (3/11/2018): -16.3 lbs
Total BF% lost from (4/4/2018): -N/A% BF

Gained a little weight from Easter weekend, but I still feel good. I'm ready to get back in the black!

Also, we are going to look at houses this Saturday. Looking forward to it!

Just make sure whatever house you get you both like and feel it out some. It's a sellers market right now. My last house was too big and not enough land. This one has enough land, but the house is a shambles and I have had to update everything and do repairs since we moved in

Yeah, man. I feel you on that. At this point in life, we will have to decide what is most important. Then maybe down the road, we can upgrade to something that has it all.

We will move 1 more time...and I am working so hard to get the wife to move back home to Louisiana. She said I will never go outside in the summer. I tell her like I never go outside in Winter here in Michigan. Lol

Got out of work late again, but I had a decent leg day. I have a slight pain in my left rotator cuff and am hoping that it goes away in the next two days, which are rest days.

Lunch:

LISS Fasted Walking Cardio 60 minutes

Gym:

Barbell Squat 135x1x3, 225x5x3
Leg Press 270x1x15, 360x1x15, 450x2x15
Leg Extensions 130x3x15
Stiff-Legged Deadlifts 185x3x8
Lying Leg Curls 80x3x15

We looked at houses today, found one we liked, put in an offer, got a counteroffer, submitted another offer, and then got accepted. HOLY CRAP! This is real. THIS IS REAL!

Here are some pics. We are very excited. Invalid Link RemovedInvalid Link RemovedInvalid Link RemovedInvalid Link RemovedInvalid Link Removed

Fishy business can still go down. I'm not letting my guard down until May 9, our closing date.

Nice place Marty! And it looks like it's plenty big. For like guests and stuff. You know, like us.

And thanks, everyone. I moved away from my family and my now wife in Jax, FL over 3 years ago for a job opportunity. After being alone for 1.5 years, we got married and Jennifer joined me. Then 1.5 years later, I took a job at the CDC in Atlanta and left the friends I made and the area I loved to a brand new city and group of people and coworkers. We... made a lot of moves that others wouldn't and I feel like it is all finally paying off. There were dark days and believe me, my wife did NOT want to live away from her family and she let me hear it over and over again. I finally am delivering on my promise of a better life than what we would have had in Jax... Man, it feels good. But anyways, I'm still dealing with that rotator cuff thing so I went light today on the chest and arm day, plus I had chores to do, had to get a haircut, and go shopping so the gym day was a bit lacking.

Gym:

Flat Barbell Bench Press (Slow) 135x6x12
Cable Crossover 27.5x6x12
Standing EZ-Bar Curls 80x6x10
Seated DB Skullcrushers 65x6x12

My rotator cuff is still not 100%. I moved my cardio day to today.

FYI......I'm still going to invite myself out for some hiking at some point Marty

Have you tried Helios by C&P?

I have not. I am a huge fan of their Permaswole and Ferox PWOs (I've been taking that stack for months after stocking up). ******** is a beastly GDA as well. How did you like Helios?

I've been tempted to pop my other OL Massacr3 open as it is the only thing on-hand that can help with that sort of thing. My last bottle of Massacr# cleared a lingering elbow pain right up.l

I'm still down. I admittedly haven't been able to hit any trails since my wife has been pregnant, which has been the entire time since being in Atlanta. I know there are a lot of good stuff north, though. A bunch of waterfalls too.

Due to the lingering left rotator cuff issue, I scrapped today's upper body power day for more cardio. Tomorrow, I am going to do shoulders and back, but probably lower weight, high rep to lay off the rotator cuff. Then Thursday will be legs, followed by two rest days. That means my rotator cuff will have 3 days in a row to heal. With all luck, I will be able to have a normal chest and arms day on Sunday. I also decided that at the start of June, I will start running outside on my lunch breaks at work instead of walking because of the 10k coming on July 4th.

Interesting massacre didn’t help me with joint issues haha.
I love helios. Fixing my wrist up quick. Day 3 and it feels wayy better. I’ve used helios before. Downside is u dose it 2 scoops which can be pricey

I will have to keep an eye out for some kind of BOGO on it in C&P's marketing emails. I like the sound of it.

Alright. My rotator cuff was still a little tender, but I did actually do real exercises, although I did keep it fairly light weight. I kept it simple and did 4 exercises, 6 sets each, for a total of 24 sets. In and out, no pain in the rotator cuff at all!

Very sad what happened to you beard. It died and fell off, poor animal. :)

Looking good Marty. Definitely headed the right direction
