PA vs ARA

Around how long after starting PA do you notice results

No one can tell you an exact time frame but most notice effects kicking in around week 2 mark.
 
Maybe it was placebo effect.. but i´m taking PA (NOW Lecithin Granules) for two days and today i got some unusual energy during the workout. And two friends told me i was "pumped", even before the workout.

And i notice another thing. Anxiety levels decreased (i suffer a lot with Anxiety) and i´m in a better mod. I hope this isn´t placebo effect.

I can definitely say that I get better pumps with a few tbsp of granules than I do with no PA, or even with 750mg PA from Mediator. My last back workout with granules (I took 1 day out of my PhosphaMuscle log to see how the granules tasted mixed with a pre-workout), I got an incredible pump just doing a bunch of pull ups in my doorway. Quite a few people have said that they've noticed more energy/focus pretty quickely (even on the first workout) with the granules. They're great.
 
Can PA increase appetite? Sometimes during the day i feel the usual appetite but sometimes (especially at night) i feel really hungry and when i woke up in the morning i have the feeling of "weakness" like hipoglicemia. During the day is fine because my natural appetite is low but in the morning is a bit unpleasant. I take 15g of Lecithin Granules at breakfast (on non-workout days) or at 2.30PM before workout.

I am on 4g PA and I am hungry Whole time! No kidding.
Very common with PA actually. And higher dose would increase even more (did for me)
 
Wow, i had already read something about it but i never thought it was so notorious. During the day it´s great because i struggle to meet my total calorie needs, but in the morning it´s a bit annoying because i really wake up "weak" and somehow with hipoglycemia symptons, like a mild nausea.

I´ll try to eat even more before bed but i think it will be not easy since i already eat a good amount of Kcal. Usually i mix Greek Yogurt, Oats, Cashew Butter and Whey.
 
6th day taking NOW Lecithin Granules and second workout (didn´t workout at the weekend and in a holiday) and i can say the workout was amazing! I don´t know if it´s placebo effect but i don´t think so.

I´m really full of energy and strength increase is notorious. And i´m noticing more definition. Today when doing cable crossover, my chest and my neck were really ripped.. Never noticed that before.

If these results are really from PA, i can say it´s the best natty supplement i ever tried. Hope the effects do not disappear :)

Now, i´m waiting for x-gels to arrive to stack them.
 
Placebo? Hard to say for sure this early. Either way, though, if your training is benefiting then run with it I say :)

That's awesome man. It seems a lot of people had great workouts very soon, if not immediately, after starting to take the granules. For me, high doses provide an awesome pump. For others, they get some nice energy/focus from them, but I haven't noticed this much, perhaps because I've never dosed over 1.5g PA, perhaps because I already take a good amount of energy/focus things pre-workout. The choline could be one of the reasons for the energy I'm thinking.

Edit: just to clarify, PA still isn't something you take for acute benefits really, as I'm sure most people are aware now. The benefits come with regular/consistent use, the acute benefits are just a nice bonus really.

I just started SL with X-Gels as well. I think the SL is a better route of emulsification than GMS as well, mostly because of the extra benefits. I generally take preworkouts with high yield glycerol anyway (Katana, HemaVO2, OL Conqu3r DGE).

Anyone have any input into this?

In a purely anecdotal sense, Ive dosed similiar prewo stacks to what you list here (Ive even added in CL gms on top of soyl and a prewo like Hemavol) and noticed no *negative* effects; Id say the pumps I get dosing like this are pretty much the best I could ever get.
 
Are the effects of PA greater than that of ARA? I know they're different.

I think it depends.

Maybe look at it like this, PA can be run as a staple, kind of like creatine or BetaAl; ArA is a very clearly cycled ingredient that you might 'treat' yourself to whenever possible.

The analogy isnt perfect, but might give you an idea as to how difficult it can be to compare and rank the 2 ingredients' efficacy.

Besides, they both go great together :)
 
When stacking ArA have you guys been using original xf or xfa?

Original. Actually only ever run x gels but xf is cool too. Don't want omega 3 in my formula ;)
 
I had an interesting run of ArA. Last I ran it in December/January on a cut at a gram before workouts, did not do anything.

Just recently I finished a 5-week run at a larger dose: 1.5 - 2g depending on body parts trained and if I was taking VasKular with it, 4 workouts a week.

It kicked in after the 3rd week and it wasn't good. It seriously affected my sleep and significantly increased my drowsiness during the day, to the point I felt I was getting sick.

Now the interesting part. It took away my strength on the low rep sets and added it to the TUT sets. It was very weird feeling so weak on the heavy sets and getting only half the reps (or less) it was reasonable to expect while getting stuck under the bar once. And then on the higher-rep slow tempo sets I was getting 30-50% more reps, as if I was on a super beta alanine or something.

Along with that I stopped getting a pump at the gym.

So I cut it short at the end of the 5th week, sleep got better by the 3rd day, along with productivity at work. After a week off the strength on low reps came back, so did the pumps.

I got no DOMS and noticed no change in body composition. Based on the inconvenience/benefit ratio, I see no point running ArA ever again. Good thing we have PA!

I had a similar experience with ArA (my last run).
I felt extremely lethargic,felt sick like having flu or something, didnt felt good on it at all.
Its due to Systemic inflammation .

But after getting my vitamin D levels in check 6 years ago and keeping my intestinal wall healthy by avoiding wheat and taking glutamine, I haven't felt that sick and weak in those 6 years!

HMB FA is a good product and it really helps with strength gains
 
PA always works fine for me, increased hunger and pump during workouts
During a cut it's good for preserving muscles but it really shines when you a out to build muscles for it's mTOR activation ability.

Just now during my reverse diet I'm combining ABE, PA, DAA and some FormXT.
Activation of cAMP, mTOR and StAR while keeping estrogen at bay should get my hormones and metabolism in check faster.
 
^Sorry if my above post has been answered. Just bought the Fearn granules and I thought the fat content here would interfere with ArA
 
If I buy the fearn soy lecithin, wouldn't this interfere with ArA? If not, how would you stack these?

No actually, the SL acts as an emulsifier and would compliment the ArA, in the same manner that GMS, also a fat, acts...
I'd down 3-4 TBS of SL at the time of taking the ArA, preWO...and you'll be set
 
never tried ara but i do so much frequency and volume i dont want any type of inflamation supp

I used ArA quite successfully when I was lifting 6 days/week doing 600-900 total reps per work out.

The type of workout(s) you're doing doesn't matter when using ArA.

so when running ara its better to do 5x10-12 for most exercises instead of my current 5x6-8?

As far as I've seen from anecdotal reports, gains were excellent regardless of the workout volume.
 
is it ok to take RCSS Resurrect-PM while taking X factor Advanced? (X factor Advanced pre Workout, RCSS Resurrect-PM in the evening)

I'm going to be starting xgels + PA+ alphamax xt and am currently bulking. My question is that since alphamax is only ran 4 weeks for each bottle and I only have one, should I buy another bottle to finish off my eight week cycle or buy anabeta and use that for the last four weeks instead?

I'd prefer to run AlphaMax XT for 8 weeks than 4. The same goes for ABE as well. I'd run AlphaMax XT for the 8 weeks this time, and run AnaBeta next time. For anything like AlphaMax XT, ABE, Testify, etc, I'd prefer to give it an 8 week run than 4, as it takes a few weeks to really notice some effects. People often really enjoy the second bottle of these sort of supplements.

Since you're trying to bulk, I would've probably opted for Anabeta for 8 weeks over Alphamax XT cause AB makes you eat like a mofo.


However, Alphamax XT is a great product (have 2 bottles sitting on my shelf) and Id just grab another bottle of Alphamax to run along the XGels.

2 tbsp pre workout is what most do.
Some do 2 post workout as well but not necessary.
