OLYMPUS LABS GETTING JD RIPPED WITH DERMATR3N !!

Mucinex definitely helps!

Thanks guys! Threw in some mucinex too. Gotta get better, got a three day weekend and would like to hit the gym all three days!!

I had one that lasted a little over a month! Started on Father's Day weekend. Fever, body aches & a lot of phlegm. The fever went away after a couple days, but then I dealt with a sore throat the rest of the way through. I probably should have gone to the Dr.

Ya probably !! I had some antibiotics in the cabinet, so hopefully they kick it! A month of this would suck!!

Same sh!t today. Though about going to the gym anyway, but wife convinced me that I have all weekend to take another day of rest :/

My weight has stayed the same since I started the DermaTr3n, although I feel and look tighter. I'd like to drop some belly fat so I am thinking about going no carb for a few weeks. Last time I did I dropped over 10lbs in two weeks and kept all but three of it off. And I think while being on cycle I will hold all my muscle while doing it :D The only hard part it I went hypo bad three days in last time so I will have to watch for that. I think if I could drop 6-8lbs to get my abs showing and keep my size i would be very happy :D
The downside to doing this was last time after about 3 weeks my weight loss stalled. So I have to slowly add carbs back in to keep from gaining it back.

I've been rewriting my diet to get my protiens and fats up. I should be somewhere around the 300 mark on P and around 150 on Fats, with carbs at <20.

Rest up..try a netipod(spelling)..works awesome for clearing up the sinuses..no meds just good ole saline solution to help bring down swelling And dry em out.

Thanks pimp. I've got one so I'll pick up some saline today. I used to use it a lot to help with my allergies, but haven't in awhile.

I agree! Rest! Allow your body to fight it off! Hopefully tomorrow will be better! Good luck with the carb cut! I've been playing with the timing of my carbs but haven't cut them out yet! Don't really want to do that again! Lol

Can I lurk here?

With two avi's like that? How could I say no!! ;)

Made it back to the gym today. I feel better today but not completely over my sickness and I could tell! I was getting short of breath quick and some coughing. Of course it didn't help that I did arms and did tri-sets :)

4 sets 12 x 30lbs

2 sets 8 x 30's
2 sets 8 x 35's ( still should of went heavier)

tri-set

Bent over rope extensions-
4 sets 12 x 110lbs

TRI-SET 2

Barbell curls- with 3 sec neg
4 sets 8 reps with 80lbs

tri-set

Dips- 3 sec neg
4 sets 8 x BW

tri-set

Machine Preacher curl- 1 sec squeeze at top
2 sets 8 x 70lbs
2 sets 8 x 60lbs

All I have to say it the Tren must of kicked in full force while I was sick! Crazy pump and unreal vascularity today! While doing the first set of kickbacks I would use my other arm and hold on to the weight rack to stabilize myself. Looking in the mirror I could see veins starting to pop out, on my stabilization arm!! haha Craziness !! Can't wait to lean out and see how vascular i get :D

I'm working on getting a bottle of Tr3n and Ep15stane and stretching this out for 8 weeks. I want to run the Tren in caps to get away from TD's for awhile and want to see how 8 weeks on this does me ;). I'll know pretty soon wether I can swing it or not.

I like your idea of making it 8 weeks!

It's on! I got a bottle of Tr3n and Ep15stane ordered :D

So this is how it should play out. I plan on having them both next week.
To make this last 8 weeks my cycle will look like this:

(Monday will be 3 weeks on Tren already)

Weeks 1-4: Tren 120mg/day
Weeks 5-8 Tren 90mg/day
Weeks 4-7: Epi 45mg/day
Week 8 : Epi 60mg/day

I am actually ok with dropping the Tren to 90 since this is my first time running it, and now I will be stacking it with Epi. Also although I LOVE me some EPI, I always get bad back pumps at much over 50mg/day, but I still see results. So things should really start to shine within a few weeks :D

I am running LGI's damage control right now, I will either pick up another bottle of it in a week or two or some cycle support.

Something else I have been debating is switching routines. I know I haven't gave meadows much chance yet, and honestly I do like it so far. I am just ready to get back to the basics. I ran Mi40 for my last routine, and Layne Norton's Power/hyper routine before that. I think I am going to jump off this one and go back to a basic routine. Hit a few compound lifts heavy with some lighter high rep auxillary lifts. I could draw one up pretty quick and just print out copies. I honestly like running a routine like that better because I can hit the same compound lifts each week and try to progress. Thoughts?

Nice wo Jd! I'm glad you're feeling better! At least good enough to train a bit! Sounds like you're having some great results too!

Thanks Kat! Didn't feel to bad yesterday, felt ok this morning, then about an hour ago I started feeling crummy again :( Ugh I am ready to get over this!!!

No doubt!! That's no fun!

What did you think of Mi40?

What did you think of Mi40?

I liked it. I learned more on different ways to contract the muscle or keep constant tension than anything.

Thinking maybe a simple 5/3/1 template... Decisions decisions lol

Thanks!

Should man, I was kind of waiting to see if OL chimed in on their thoughts too ;)

Hmm jumping from oral to trans, iv'e got to say i think trans would have been more enjoyable as it seems to be more potent than oral tren. I would have used oral tren to increase the trans dosage.

That could of been a possibility except that would of been another bottle of TD? $$$ :( and I hadn't planned in going 8 weeks.

Logger discount to continue log ;). Shoot me a pm and i'll shoot you over what i can do and you can see as fit, since i really wanna see you blow up the tren dosage.

Looks like I will be a DEMIGOD before it is over with :D

Glad you recovered from the cold and killed it!

Personally, I think you should continue with the Meadows program through the end just to experience it. I think it took a few weeks before I started getting something every week from it, and have seen and felt a great transformation since doing it. I could only imagine my experience if I were on what you were on.

Just my opinion though, and I know you'll kill it on whatever routine you choose.

What constitutes "no carbs"? Like how many grams a day?

While on cycle you may be able to get away with this for a while but be on the lookout for burnout. If you keep increasing weight on the same lift week after week you'll eventually have to switch it up which is no problem. After off cycle (post PCT) I would switch up from week to week either rep schemes or movements or both. This will allow you to continue along with as little stagnation as possible.

It won't let me edit my ****ing post. Anyways, under my quoted OL post I was going to say it's nice to see an owner hooking a logger up that we've already hooked up. That's a pretty stand up guy right there

Also to continue with my comments on switching up the training. It's good that you want to progress, that's the way the body grows as you know. To further what I was saying is if you do decide to switch to a periodized type of training or any training for that matter keep track of your numbers. It shouldn't matter if you bench this week, incline next (different intensity) and go back to bench the following week. What's important is that you simply beat the previous numbers or weights from last flat bench. I find a periodized approach to be much more sustainable in the long run.

Layne Norton ' s PHAT is simply his adaptation of a periodization setup

I understand what you are saying Register. I do think the routine is good, I am just ready to be able to go into the gym, know what exercises I am doing an know exactly what weight I am going to push or try to exceed. Plus I want to add back in things like shrugs and deadlifts that Meadows don't use much.

I hear you on the deads. I'm about to start a different Meadows routine and he seems to do more of them in there.

If I repeat this program I'll add deads in too. I don't like doing them only twice in 12 weeks.

When I say no carbs, I ment no specific carb sources i.e. potatoes, rice, oats. I will still get a few from things such as my veggies, protein, cottage cheese, hell even some from almonds. But they are all negligible. I am rethinking it though considering what i am going to be running the next 5 weeks ;) I may just go with 50g of Karbolyn after my workouts so I am not so low.

I will still add in things such as drop sets, negatives, etc to keep it fairly interesting. Not just straight sets everyday ;)
And yes I do keep track of my weights from week to week, and do what I can to beat them the next. That was something I didn't do well with meadows. I was having to copy everyworkout, everyday, and some of them didn't do the same thing as last week. As my cycle progresses I may add in an extra exercise or another set here and there to keep from getting burnt out.

Yes he done me right! :D And it is nice to deal directly with the owner of a company. He has been very easy to talk with through PM, and is more than willing to help out. Nothing against dealing with any of the reps, hell I was a rep for over 7 years, but it's nice to deal with the big guy sometimes too. Shows that the company cares about their customers.

Keep us updated on the other routine. I will eventually get chains and bands to make sure I can take full advantage of his routines when I do them again.

Will do.

I just saw your comment about tracking progress.

I don't think I would've enjoyed his routine if I didn't have the Jefit app to keep track of the weights used. I would've dropped te routine too.

Today was a pretty sh!tty day. Didn't sleep at all last night. Had to get up early because my nephew wanted me to take him to the gym, and then my dad calls needing a little help before we went. Well his little turned into and hour so it put us way behind.
Finally made it to the gym to do legs!!

Seated Calf raises- 10 reps and then a ten second hold at full contraction
2 plates x 10
3 plates x 10
4 plates x 10
3 plates x 10
2 plates x 20

Extensions (warm up knees)
3 sets 15 x 60lbs

Squats- 8,6,4,2
135 x 15, 225 x 8
275 x 8
315 x 6
365 x 4
Planned on going up to 405 but just didn't feel it.

Leg Press- Feet middle and wide 2 sets, feet high and close 2 sets
10 plates, 4 x 15

Extensions-
4 sets 12 x 140lbs

Was supposed to do lunges also (quad focused) and didn't.

Although I got a good pump and quads were burning,my head just wasn't in it today.

Got called into work early today so I have about an hour and a half to get cleaned up, eat and head to work.

A little good news, I got a call early for an interview to fill an assistant manager position at my job. I've been just working part time at a gas station. Been there a month and the main store manager asked me to apply for this position. Interview is tomorrow so we will see how it goes.

Nice squats again, JD.

Good luck on the interview. Doesn't sound like the day is a complete bust.

Hate you got such a rough start to the day! Still might turn out to be a great day though! Good luck with your interview!

Thanks everyone!
Yes Kat, hopefully the day gets better!!!

I actually went to school to be a Physical Therapist Assistant and have had trouble passing my state boards. Been just kind of hanging out this summer not sure what or where to go. Hopefully God is pointing me in the right direction ;)

At least you are working. I applaud you for that. I see so many that just want to be "taken care of". Stick at it. Fingers crossed you get the position.

Thoughts are that the periodization incorporated in Meadows work is probably going to be far superior to anything you come up with. I am not dissing you in anyway, just telling you the truth. There is a reason he is one of the most respected trainers in the world. I have never had results like when I was doing his program. Specifically the shoulder stuff. I have one I created from his articles on T-Nation and I will email it to you if you want. It has the same exercises each week I just went heavier each week. I ran it about 12 weeks and don't think I ever stagnated.

Logger discount to continue log ;). Shoot me a pm and i'll shoot you over what i can do and you can see as fit, since i really wanna see you blow up the tren dosage.
This is why I am proud to be on this team! Well and obviously high quality products!!!!

I am pretty sure the workout I did had shrugs in it but not dead lifts.

Maybe so! He sees the whole plan and knows what you may need in the meantime! :)

So I guess you all are telling me I should stick with Meadows huh? lol

I'll give it a few more weeks and see if I can get "in to it" a little more than I am ;)
