My ears hear death (a good at that), but my eyes see wigger hip hop, complete with gangsta hand gestures. Yeah, they definitely have a more cliche "deathcore" appearance (i.e. flat brims, over-sized clothing, unnecessary hand gestures). However, WOP's music is heavily influenced by legitimate death metal bands such as Nile. I guess I ultimately feel that their mannerisms, and sense of fashion, do not detract from their musical abilities.

I've heard the term deathcore over the past year or so, but wasn't sure what actually defined it.

However, WOP's music is heavily influenced by legitimate death metal bands such as Nile. I guess I ultimately feel that their mannerisms, and sense of fashion, do not detract from their musical abilities.

The music was great, but after seeing them all I can think of is "poseur". JMO.
