Nutra's Phenibut

I'm 23 years old, 5'6" 140lbs and in the service with no health problems. Anyways,I tried this stuff only twice (first time I did 1.5g and 2nd time I did 3g). Each time I've gotten that hangover feeling but the 2nd time I did it, I've had a throbbing sensation on the back-left part of my head ever since. Tried ibuprofen for about 2 weeks and it didn't do anything. Went to the emergency room, had a CAT-scan on my head done, everything came back normal.

It's been about 3 weeks now since I've touched the stuff. At first I thought it just might be some kind of withdrawal and I hoped I could just tough it out but the pain is still there and now I'm starting to worry.

What should I do at this point?

Did you post this in another thread?

Are you experiencing anxiety, cold sweats, nervousness?

Are you on any other medications?

Have you changed any other variables in your life within these past 2 weeks?

I don't see how something like Phenibut could have any effect that long-lasting; it would have to be some other underlying medical condition (a bizarre one at that) or something else you're overlooking.

No, I did not post in another thread. I'm not on any other meds. This headache issue alone is starting to cause me to feel anxiety and nervousness since I don't know what's going on with me. Other than that, I'm fine. No cold sweats here.

I've never gotten headaches in my life aside from the times I've come down with a bad fever or 2 as a kid. The only thing I can think of that might have caused this is that the day I did 3g of phenibut, I stayed up all day and drove home 8 hours straight in the evening drinking red bulls to stay awake. I got home past midnight, hit the sack for about 4 hours and forced myself to wake up and go to work, even though I had a very powerful urge to sleep from the phen. Ever since that morning 3 weeks ago, the headache has been there.

Phenibut is not something to take lightly. This from a member who wants to remain nameless:

Hello MrBig,

I 5g off some of the old stuff I had and wow.....holy sh*t.

I slept for a good 18 hours because I couldn't stand. I was f*ucked up baaadd!!!

After I did get up my stomach hurt like crazy and u had a crazy headache. Will I be ok? What damage will be done to my body?

I'd gt off of all supplements, stims, multi's and try to detox yourself. Phenibut passes the brain barrier and you have a chemical imbalance in your brain from the drug. It's going to take some time, some recoup quicker than others

Honestly, I have never heard of any of these conditions from Phenibut, well, at least not anything that would last this long. Though, Phenibut IS a product to take with caution. And, it NOT something that should be taken every day, for it will then deplete naturally produced GABA in your brain, causing a lot of problems for the user.

Phenibut will cause a good hangover, if the person takes too much or too late in the day, and/or not getting enough sleep. It should only be used 3-4 days TOPS, preferably less, with a good 3-4 day wash out. I personally try to only take it when really necessary, like the days that I just can't sleep and/or I am very hyped up and stressed out.

At this point, unless they are licensed professional doctor, I feel that you need better advice and consulting than you will find on this forum. This problem sounds pretty serious and I definitely feel you need to consult with your primary doctor.

I truly hope everything gets better for you soon, as I hate to hear of your very unfortunate experiences! Please keep us posted with any changes or updates.

I just bought some of the new phenibut from NP, and I really hope it is like the old stuff. I bought the Russian pharmaceutical tablets from an online pharmacy, and those worked just as well as the old stuff (too expensive though, like $20 for 5 grams).
