NTNM - Diet , my un-scientific approach to leanness

I actually managed to only gain 5 ~ 6 lbs throughout all of that (plus the holidays). I kept my diet pretty clean, although there were times I really needed comfort food, and I did give in from time to time. That plus not working out for roughly 2 months, give or take.



Right now just need to wear a neck brace while driving (until mid-week next week). Other than that I am doing 100% better post-surgery than I was before hand. The nerve pain and ROM limitations are more or less completely gone now. Best decision I could have made, getting the surgery. I am only 2 weeks and a couple of days post-op and am already back to light exercising (with the blessings of my surgeon). Some motions present with a tightness in my neck (they go in through the front of the neck to do the operation) and I have a 2" ~ 3" incision on the left lower front side of my neck that is mostly healed (love those peptides :)). But the scar tissue is apparent when I look up too far. That will just take time and is already almost stretched out. I have been doing daily stretching exercises looking in all directions, started the morning after surgery (again, per my surgeon). I did have to stay for over night after surgery as a percentage of patients experience swelling along the incision path that inhibits breathing. I luckily did not experience that.



I think they told me that it was a different metal in the artificial disc. I have my follow up in 3 days and will ask again then. They did say that 1. I should not set off a metal detector (too small of an amount of metal) and 2. I could still get an MRI done, if needed. I was worried that metal in my neck would rule out MRIs for any future diagnostic needs.

glad to see you back brother! also glad to hear the surgery went well. too many horror stories about neck surgery.

Cortisol is already going to be high as hell on this particular diet so the activity should not be stressful in any way just energy consuming. A 30-60 minute walk at a brisk pace, not power walking by any means, but walking like you have somewhere to go would benefit him. If he also used this time to self reflect / mentally process things he can get better recovery, stress reduction and not add to the cortisol from the diet. I find that when I do this regularly during fasting my fat loss increases quite a bit and I feel better. As a matter of fact it is what I am going to be employing to increase fat loss during my recomp process. I like to put some music on and go walk and just let my subconscious mind lead my thoughts where it wants to and process whatever comes to the front of mind. I always feel more recovered both mentally and physically when I do this regularly. I just get lazy and forget how good it makes me feel and end up stopping the practice once I reach my goal...

I agree. Just brisk walk would help. HGP just has to get his a$$ out to do that.

That's from three trees, total 200 trees -but a cold spell was hitting when they were flowering, only 25 have fruits...
After harvesting with all the thorns, my whole body looks like I tried to rape a bear.

I was about to ask from how many trees. I have one tree back at home and we get a few from it. That’s bloody good for a yield from 3 trees.

I get about 40-60kg per tree 12 limes per kg. Trees are 4 years old. I use no pesticides or chemical fertilizers, just horse -and cow shyt.

Yes....later it got worse. One guy put a safety belt on, without being hooked on anything. They are too stupid to piss a hole into snow -but at the same time lucky, everyone survived.

Awesome. I've known a few logging guys over the years. Big on alcohol and strength, not so much on brains. Fun to watch if your not responsible for them though.

Its not funny when you are the employer. They fall down, are paralytic for life and you have to pay. BUT, I called a contractor, I learned my lesson and enjoyed the circus. :)

Agreed! However, I wouldn't let a bit of jungle keep me from taking a dip in the hot springs, I just probably wouldn't drink the water. Nobody wants hair in their mouth.

Ha a hair net!!! ever see those one size fits all net panties from the hospital... reminds me of a conclusion we came too last night if u put a male in some of those ... u know those stress relief squishy things that pop out everywhere when squeeze them... kind of same idea... lol cracks me up diy stress relief in your panties ... male that is
