NTNM - Diet , my un-scientific approach to leanness

There is one thing I can actually tell what unifies me and the beast. We both don't care for workout regimes. We pump until fatigue sets in, every time.
High volume, pumping the sh1t out of it is the way to go, not GVT, 5x5 or whatever they wanna sell you.
Its all about FATIGUE. Right BEAST73 ?
Paired with a good diet its a win!

I decided to take off from the diet for a few days. I felt I'm not losing any weight anymore, now trying to reset, eating 3 times a day but watching cals -while upping on protein.
 
Read through what I could find (besides the link you posted hgp) and it certainly looks like it could be the next "Wonder Drug". Helps with heart disease, diabetes, cancer treatment, even appetite suppression. Which means that the FDA will never approve it.
Well MAYBE if Trump can do what he said he was going to do with the FDA and big pharma that won't be the case. Would like to see some of his positive ideas happen. If he really puts pressure on the FDA to start approving things and lowering costs or we will buy everything from other countries and kill big pharma profit... Then maybe but otherwise you are correct Sir.

Day 48

3 meals a day for a week, to reset metabolism.
I had only 30 min for the gym, as the weather forecast announced heavy rain.

3 meals:
1.oats with milk+honey
2.pasta with beef
3.whole wheat pasta with tuna + pineapple w. cinnamon
 
6 weeks with only 1 meal a day and now 3 full meals. How do you feel? I have tried skipping lunch for 2 weeks and it wasn't pretty getting back at it. I couldn't really eat how much I used to before the break. Took almost a week to adjust and slowly increasing the food intake at lunch.

I feel guilty, LOL. But the extra energy feels good in the gym. I'm aware I have to watch closely what/how much I eat -but honestly, I'm still hungry, LOL!

I may opt for a harsher diet with way less food after this week. I swear I'm gaining muscles on only one meal. Weight goes up but the damn hip tire stays. I may end up 240lbs and still be at 20% BF. It's mysterious.
The day a famine hits, I may be the lonely survivor, living only on 10 peanuts a day and still growing stronger, LMAO!

HG, have you considered that your body is undergoing some sort of inflammatory response in which it’s holding water? Some supplement, food, etc that is bloating you?

Did you gain during those 3 days? I find the more aggressive I get on my diet, the harder my body fights to hold on to the fat and causing inflammatory responses too!

Yes, lately fighting with digestion problems. I'm suddenly intolerant to oats and pasta, bloating up, gas and later heartburn, even with betaine. Why pasta??? I loved it my whole life! Was reading with attention kenpoengineer 's log about his sudden intolerance to whey. For me its pasta and grains. Working on it as we speak, educating me on enzymes and probiotics.

Also, you taking any TUDCA? How much? Would you be able to take 2 g a day for a month or So?

Stopped the insulin use, figuring that it may be the cause I'm not losing enough fat -but interestingly, it kept my muscles full. Will use it again in a bulk someday.
Taking 500mg Tudca atm, as Osta isn't as harsh on the liver. 2gr a day is costly, I mean, really fugging expensive.
I'm eating enough carbs after workouts, no refeed needed. Right now I'm going back to intermittent fasting, this time without slin and watching cals closely... later on I'll introduce Cardarine and some cardio.

Well, tudca should restore leptin and insulin sensitivity...at least according to a couple studies. But these studies have used approx. 1750 mg a day ....

I am wondering if some of the issue is insulin resistance. This obviously seems like a good idea to have fat cells resistant to insulin, but being able to transport into and out of cells is obviously important.

Yes, I agree. It's definitely insulin resistance.The Telmisartan should kick in by now and the Cardarine will help too. I may implement R-ALA later on.

ALA will inhibit PDK which should upregulate carb burning for energy and counter the over expression caused by dieting.

Good. PDK is an enzy.e that switches energy metabolism between fat and carbs. During periods of obesity, PDK becomes elevated which switches on fat burning. PDK also becomes elevated during a caloric deficit. So...my theory is...that being obese screws up your ability to metabolize carbs, and then dieting makes it worse.

So yeah, overall you want to burn fat, but if you cannot burn carbs and can only burn fat, your body will need to store the carbs as fat before the carbs can be burned.
 
Today will be a "pump" day for chest, back and legs.
All about form and maximal blood flow.

Had a scoop of radiate and 10mg cialis. Intra workout 50gr Karbolyn and a huge post workout meal.
I'm back in 2 hours.
 
Gym: "Pump up the limbs"

11 exercises
-3 back
-3 chest
-3 legs
-1 abs
-1 shoulder

Each exercise 3 sets of 21's (partials).

Pump could have been better, maybe the radiate has vasoconstrictor substances, counteracting cialis.

Tren is the devil! I had ALL of the sides, damnit, can't take it. HGH bloats me up like a corpse in warm water -and anavar was my last cycle.

Yes I did. I've been back in the gym for about a year now, but only just recently in the past few weeks started getting back into a groove and feeling good. It still bothers me quite a bit on some movements, but I think that is something I'll just have to deal with forever. Other than that, things are good, slowly getting some size back and looking like I have actually been in a gym before. Lol
 
Stay the diet course as you are looking great HG. That stubborn abdominal fat took years to put on.

-BPC-157 250mcg/d 1 injection/near injury IM mornings (lots of bac water to up volume to penetrate more tissue)
-PEG-MGF 150mcg 1 injection/near injury IM evening (lots of bac water to up volume to penetrate more tissue)
-TB-500 loading phase 0.7mg day subQ, tummy
-Cut out any AI use for awhile AND upping test a bit. I need elevated estrogen to help healing....limp d1ck, here we go

Monday I will test the waters to see what exercises I can/can't do. It seems not as bad as the previous injury. I have free range of motion. Pulling my pants on the sides up, it hits me like being stabbed in my shoulder by a rusty nail, that's on fire, covered in salt and being twisted.

My first BPC injection was terrible. The injury is located where all nerves come together to have an orgy, or something.

Now I'm going to the farm with the family. To relax, I will have 2gr of phenibut, have not used it for months.

It is not as bad as my previous tear, none the less, it is a downer. I feel really depressed. It is so disappointing, especially when you were careful to not injure yourself. It happened out of nowhere, without a reason. No heavy weight, no sudden movement, I was warmed up good, every movement was controlled.

I'm packing, going to have a bonfire and some vodka with coke zero. The phenibut is kicking in too, making me more social.

You need to let go a little of the obsession with being "bigger" - you're pretty big, but who the heck cares if no one can even tell that you lift because it's all hidden? You are looking good and the work is paying off - don't let your brain f#ck this all up on you.

Try 750 mg of Apigenin, split into (3) 250 mg servings/day - you can get a bottle from Swanson and it will cost you about $15 for a week...but I bet you'll be suprised. After 2 weeks, you can cut it down to about half. I'd say the stuff is about 3X as effective as Ibuprofen in my experience...would love to see if you'd have the same experience.

Did you really hurt yourself? Or are you looking for an excuse to end the diet? Because...I see this as all the more reason to double down on the diet. Since you can't be bulking now (hard to bulk and put on muscle if you can't lift all-out) - double down and diet, diet, diet so that you can make progress outside of the gym.

And I am hoping it clears up quickly ...maybe just a pull and it will heal faster than you think.

Nah, I'm not a guy making up excuses, never was. If I quit, I'm a quitter -and I would admit it, no shame here.
To the contrary, I doubled my efforts. Besides a little vodka, I had zero carbs the whole weekend.

The tear is not that bad, until now there is only one specific movement I can't perform -but the pain is a 9 out of 10, I'm not exaggerating. 10 is when you are about to pass out, 9 is the perceived pain of a gout attack -or wiggling a metal hook in a broken tooth.
The shoulder makes noises now, like its unstable in the socket. I'll investigate the damage on Monday in the gym and may start light rehab exercises.
