NP Omega 3 Megadosing and Cholesterol

About the NP Omega 3 caps.
There's a 12mg dose of Cholesterol in each serving, that means that each cap is providing 6mg of Cholesterol.

Megadosing this (45-50 caps/day) gives me about 300mg of Cholesterol a day?!!

Is that really good?

50 caps a day?!?!

Sorry to stray a bit o/t but what benefits do you see when taking over 10 caps a day?
 
Considering a large egg has 211 mg cholesterol (Invalid Link Removed ), and I've eaten 4-6 eggs consistently for the past 8 months and still have impeccable cholesterol levels, I would say it is not a concern unless you already have or predisposed to coronary disease.

Omega-3's have been shown to have cardio-protective functions, so I strongly believe the benefits would outweight any negative effects on the heart.

Thats true, but still, seems alot of other producers "filter" out or lower the cholesterol in their products?
On the other hand isn't cholesterol an steroid?
 
dietary cholesterol doesnt affect serum cholesterol. saturated fats do. dietary cholesterol gets broken down by stomach/liver
 
at the very least, its a healthy caloric source that will help raise your hdl cholesterol while lowering your ldl, and promote healthy skin + joints.

Keep in mind that if you aren't an "intelligent design" believer, evolution had mankind eating quite a different diet up till the last couple thousand years.... So higher omega 3/6/9 intake helps bring you back into evolutionary balance foodwise.
