NOT HAPPY with Genera Supplements

I placed and order for Epidrol on the October 8th. Their site says delivery within two to five bussiness days. Finally got my order on the 29th after e-mailing and private messaging this board sponser. They said that there was a processing error and they were sorry for the delay. I'm a patient guy and know that mistakes get made so no big deal, we f@$k up sometimes. Plus in Canada orders some times take and bit more time, mabye an extra day or two max to come from the States.

Now here's where I loose it:
Their website says order three bottles and get a fourth bottle free. I placed my order and it even stated that on my "Detailed Receipt" that they e-mailed me. When I finally got my order 21 days later it only had three bottles in it. Even the packing slip/reciept said three bottles plus one free bottle. I e-mailed "genera supplements" (yet again) asking where the fouth bottle was and they replied that that sale was over and the "web master" just hasn't taken it off their site yet!!!!!!!!!!!! So I guess the "web master" also packs the order, prints off the reciept with the sale deal, calls UPS and sends it to me too?!! WHAT A JOKE. I have a packing slip for four bottles, recieved three and they claim it's an advertising flaw.

Epidrol is the same thing as Havoc and Epistane. Just a different band name. I suggest that if considering purchasing this supplement, go with any other brand besides Epidrol. I know I'll never use Genera Supplements again.:wtf:
 
In a case like this, even if the special sale was over, they should have given the customer the benefit of doubt. After all, it was their responsibility to update their website and their offers. A quite unpleasant experience!

Honestly to me it sounds like this web-master held off on shipping your items until this sale was officially "over" even though u had ordered the product prior to the sales end.

Honestly though what exactly can you expect? These "one hit wonder" supplement companies are popping up every single day now.. EVERYONE and their mother wants to be a part of the American Pharmacuetical trends today.. People pop pills when sad, tired, hyperactive-- and when they want to get big as well.

Trust me, aside from the tried and true companies who actually discover these compounds (LegalGear,ALRI,AE, etc) you can practically expect crappy CS from companies such a GeneraSupplements,--Think about it, what is this company after all? They see the money in "Legal Steriods," find two or three compounds that are ALREADY on the market, and combine them to sell as their own product... I'd be willing to bet NO tests were even done on their products (Livertoxicity, actually purity of product, etc) before they hit the market.

As bad as I feel for you, I would never buy a product from a company like this and actually ingest it..

Actually the funny thing here is that Genera Supplements is a spin off brand of USP Labs, not an overnight shady group. You might want to try PM'ing the user USPLabs, and talking to him about it.

This is a false statement. It is not a spin-off. At one point Genera was going to exclusively offer USP bulk powders but that is no longer occurring. Jacob handles online marketing for Genera.
 
Ah ok, then I misunderstood some of what I had read then. Either way, pm'ing USPLabs works (as that is jacob's account) :)

shouldnt he be replaced $52.97 considering that he can't buy a bottle on the website and that's how much it cost on there? If he were to have recieved the bottle it would have been 53x3 for 3 bottles plus the one free. Just looking out for the fellow AM members here. GS sure did make a big booboo.
 
No, jacob took 52.97 * 3 = 158.91 for the 4 bottles he should have gotten. Then divided by 4 that becomes 39.73 real cost per bottle. Seems fair.

I consider the word free as in it doesnt cost you anything, not buy 3 to get a discounted price on all the bottles. Otherwise it would have basically been beneficial to just buy it on internet retailers. 3 bottles + 1 free= 212 dollar value according to the site.free bottle = value of purchased bottle. Way I see it your buying 3, 53x3 and you get your free bottle. Total value should accumulate to 212 bucks. free means it's a gift, not that your paying more to split the cost of each bottle.

I must say I just love threads like this, it's funny how some deal with stuff, but do what you have to, to get noticed I guess. From what I have seen you just have to talk to the right people, so perhaps...

Very true neo, but he had already tried talking to genera directly, and had no luck. He hadn't known about jacob's relationship there, so he really was at that "ratcheting it up" point to try and get some help. I knew jacob would help out :)

I am not sure what you meant by referring to "getting noticed" and talking to "the right people". Reading Cordell's original posting, I was not of the impression he rushed to judgment or name-calling. I just think the company did not play fairly. Period. Luckily the issue appears, thanks to USP Labs intervention, to be on the way to getting resolved.

I have to agree here. Considering the product can be had much cheaper from a place like NP, then the incentive for ordering straight from the website was, indeed, the FREE bottle.

Reducing cost 1/4 of invoice still doesn't bring it cheaper than he would have gotten it ordering from an etailer.

thank you dsade. Well put, I was trying to put up a valid reason yesterday but my mind was pretty blank. you dont buy 3 bottles to reduce the cost to "standard" etailer price, you buy for a free bottle. Why should it be considered part of what you paid for the 3 bottles. It's almost like going into the grocerystore and buying something. When you want to return it they give you half of what you paid for it there.

agreed. a bottle shipped, without charge of shipping would be the best way to go. but if not the 53 bucks is the way to go. :rofl:

Just to clarify a little more. I sent e-mails and got no where. I sent private messages and later got replies. So from there on I sent both. Beleive me I'm not a complainer or a hard guy to please. GS and I have had serveral e-mails back and forth. Even after waiting 20 days (still with no order) I sent an e-mail stating that if my order was just lost, then just say so. If it just takes this long normaly, then just say so. They told me they miss the order by accident and were sorry. That's understandable. I don't mind waiting just as long as I know how long I have to wait, but when you don't get what you ordered, not cool. Beleive me, all I am trying to do is let others know so they don't get the same run-around. I don't even send food back at resturants if they bring me the wrong order lol, drive's the GF crazy.

I fail to see the logic that a free bottle costs 54.95 but anyways, I agree he has been put through much BS. He will get refunded a full bottles price and if he likes some USPlabs products, He has my e-mail.

Thanx USP. I got an e-mail from (I won't mention names) at GS saying that I will get the refund now. Glad to be able to put this to rest.

Yup, I hate to think what a cook does to the food you get the second time around. I left a resturant once because I was afraid of what the waitress might do after two people complained about their coffee not being perfect at our table (Future inlaws, what do ya do.............). We were still waiting for our food for crying out loud. Can't take that risk lol!!!

congrats on the refund. :thumbsup: I personally am SUPER nice to restaurant people. Hiding saliva in food is extremely easy. Just give it a few whirls and it will blend in with anything. No need to be swapping saliva with the dirty chef in the kitchen or waitress. Anyway best of luck with the epidrol. Guessing your stocking up "just in case" I feel you bro. I ordered myself a bottle of epi when I heard another round of PH ban might come.

Please don't take anything I said as a dig or pointing the finger but rather just some good advice being passed along to most that may read. I must add that I have seen the "flinch & scream" type replies from people quite alot, I think any customer is absolutely and utterly entitled to raising your voice and kicking open a few doors if you have already done the above which mr.wiseforumguy suggested.

I really do see both sides of things as I am both the company and the customer. I am also a customer service rep for a large well known credit card company and customer satisfaction is No:1. We aim to be excellent and then cherry top it!

S'all good bro and I hope you truly get what you ordered and more to make you a 'happy consumer' :)
