Just a quick update (ive been out of town). I am doing well with the diet. Losing wieght is easy one week, then it slowly packs on the next week. I am fairly certain it is due to building muscle because my muscles are considerably larger. So i am sitting at 248lbs right now. Not much as far as weight, but i am lightyears ahead in progress as far as physique and feeling better. I will post up pictures tonight when i can get on my desktop.

That is all good just remember you put a weight of 240, and that is the goal, so looking better at 241 won't keep you out of a diaper. Focus on the fat loss and don't get distracting with inflating muscles... :)

Oh, I have absolutely no doubts brother, just trying to keep you from getting distracted. I know what it is like when muscle memory kicks in and you see the growth and want to chase it. You are in a good position, and I think 240 is going to look good on you!!!!

Thanks bro! The end goal 6-7 months from now is to get down to 220. However; it is very hard to not want to get huge. Im getting stronger and its now a game of maintaining current strength, but trying to cut down=hard to balance! Lol

I would look into Carb Back Loading by John Keifer many power lifters have done very well cutting down and maintaining, even gaining strength on it. However you have to be careful and remember that even with all the tricks it employs, you still have to follow the golden rule of calories in vs calories out for it to be effective.

Lol i may have gotten mixed up in the stud feed when i was stocking the barn.
Thanks man, but i contribute alot of my natural build to my grandfather. He was known as Mountain Man. 7' 4" one of my earliest memories of him was he always had to turn sideways to get into the doorway. I also remember him throwing a grown man out of his house, one hand by the belt, for cheating a card game. I dont remeber much else of him he was on the other side of the law and was in and out of prison. Running shine, gambling,etc. But a mountain of a man no doubt

I am in a similar boat, I am the generational stout male in my family. We have one each generation that gets the barrel chest and built like a truck. My grandfather was, he used to swim across the Ohio river and back every morning with my Aunt on his back. He could toss a bale of hay overhead with one hand by the lashing Men were made of a different ilk back in those days...

Looking good HGP! DEM DELTS are BOSS!!!! Just for reference do you have a pump in these? Because if you don't then the difference is more than a little noticeable regarding muscle size and fullness. Could also be having some nutrients in your body!

No pump in delts, it was back day. My "new" shoulder exercise is: low pulley - cross over cables, doing partials.

That is a great angle to hit them from. I do these when I go to the gym and can get on one of the free motion cable machines.

Started IF (18:00 - 10:00 fast) this week and dropped a few kilos a lot quicker than I expected. I feel like all the stress from last weekend knocked me around mentally, and, while the scales say I am lighter, I feel flabby and weak. Invalid Link RemovedInvalid Link RemovedInvalid Link Removed

I'm still at 198 and look the same I'd say. I'm bouncing between hungry and maintenance calories through this next week. It's amazing how much better one feels with a few more carbs wow. Lifting hard and jogging 3 miles 2 x week.

Down .4 from last week. Been eating real good, lots of food. Between 2500-3k a day.

I didn't remember to take my pics until Sunday morning after our family breakfast. So I did not weigh myself when I took the pictures. I would guess I am about 210 in the picture as we ate pizza the night before, and then I had some eggs, bacon, and french toast for breakfast right before the pics. So I am guessing 210 as pictured.

I won't claim progress here, more like I probably maintained over the last 2 weeks. Definitely going to need to do more to hit my goals. Oh yeah forgive the weird angle of the shot. I rearranged that room and am going to have to find some where to set up my phone for pictures. I just had the phone propped up on a chair for these and they came out weird looking.

Not likely!!!!

I took these yesterday morning but didn't have a chance to resize it to post it until today.

Here is my progress pic from this weekend, I am down about a pound from the beginning. I was 207 and some change when I started, and was 206.2 yesterday morning.

Again, at an odd angle, pointing up toward the light and that really washed it out so I used the auto correction filter in it. So that is why has a slight filter on it.

That dam tire above my hip drives me insane

Some of it is fat, and some of it is obliques, don't worry about it. If you have well developed obliques they are still going to stick out like that when lean. Mine stick out almost an inch over my hips when I am ripped.

Will hit the gym tonight and then it's time for my Decondition. I will probably cut it down to just 7 days. took me 9 weeks to get through my 8 week program.

LMAO! that is our new mut. Our Mini yorkie passed away a bit back. We ended up with this from a family member. she is cute! but it's been a long time since I had a puppy. She is already a Daddy's girl!

1/2 Chihuahua and daddy is a docksin mute. she is almost 6 months we have had her for 4 months. Damn dog has hops! have a hard time keeping her off the tables if she wants something.
