Smont
Legend
Sorry I meant smont log.
I'm managing to get fatter and smaller since I've been nursing some injuries. I did push the limits last weekend doing a strength event (farmers walk elimination ladder) and though I didn't hurt anything that day, I was hurting like a mother f***** two days later. As of yesterday everything felt good and I was itching to get in the gym so we're back in business.
Still babysitting my right knee and left shoulder but let's go!
First order of buisness, I'm going from TRT 150mg to 200test and 100npp just because I have a little bit left over and I need to make some orders for supplies if you know what I mean. Eventually this will turn into a high testosterone cycle with either primo, mast or EQ along side. But that's not going to happen for probably 5-6 weeks. For now it's trt + I guess.
I'm training with my focus on bench and deadlift and I'm also going to have a lot of work to do on my legs. Because I'm still nursing my shoulder a little bit I'm doing a 20° incline bench because it feels better and safe at that angle.
Yesterday's workout. SS=super set, RP=rest pause
Low incline bench 95x10,145x10,195x5, 235x4, 255x3,3,3 drop back to 195x3x3 with a 3 second pause at the bottom of every rep.
20° DB fly SS close grip bench 30's and 145 for 3 sets of 10 each
Deficit deadlift (3in deficit) with the hex bar
50x5, 100x5, 150x5, 200x5 no pain and easy peazy here.
Plate loaded hack squat, 90x 10,10,10 my knee feels a little weird when I break parallel, it doesn't hurt it just feels unstable and old
this is a exercise I'm going to randomly throw into my workouts in the goal is to always do three sets of 10 with five more pounds than last week.
Bodyweight chins for three sets of 10
Hammer curls SS and pressdowns 30's and working up to the whole stack for 3x10
Incline dumbbell curl SS dumbbell skull crusher 20's for 2 sets. Didn't really count reps on this one and I didn't go to failure but I was just kind of tired and running out of gas at this point.
I had a lot of rest in between my sets the whole workout took almost 2 hours ideally though I can do this workout in about an hour and 15 minutes.
Diet needs a lot of work right now.
I've cut my caffeine intake down from 900mg daily to 150-300mg daily and eventually I'm going to drop caffeine completely for a couple of weeks this is all part of a little experiment for my sleep hygiene.
And I got a couple peptides in my top drawer I'm going to play around with for the next 5 weeks.
As of right now my training schedule is pull focused on Tuesday, push focused on Thursday, a little mix of both on Saturday.
I'm also going to hit the heavy bag and jog twice a week. I occasionally will do extra sets of pull-ups or extra stuff for legs on the days I do heavy bag or jogging. Eventually Sunday is going to turn into leg day once I feel like I can train legs at 100%
