Heard from a co-worker today,..... script is written, and production begins in the spring. This would explain the vids that sprung up months ago about all the training hes still doing.

Rambo 5 Gets the Green Light

Nu Image/Millennium Films has given the green light to the fifth installment in the "Rambo" franchise, with Sylvester Stallone starring and directing, repeating his duties from 2008's Rambo.

Variety says the storyline for the fifth film revolves around Rambo fighting his way through human traffickers and drug lords to rescue a young girl abducted near the U.S.-Mexico border.

The production will start in the spring.

The Expendables is the movie he was working out for but it looks like Rambo 5 is rumored to be in pre-production on imdb.com with a release date of 2011.

Look at the cast of The Expendables. It should be super kickass.

Yea, that looks like it will be awesome as well.
 
Expendables should be good. Looking forward to Rambo 5. The pacing and intensity of Rambo 4 was incredible.
 
They're gonna have to really go out to try and top Rambo 4. Man that sh*t was crazy. Realistic as it gets. Shows what a .50 cal will really do to the human body. Can't wait till 5.
 
Looking forward to both Expandables and Rambo 5. The plot in Rambo sounds promising.. Seems like two great movies in my taste :)

RAMBO! Also The Expendables is supposed to have Arnold in it as well. Sly and Arnold in the same movie = kick ass.
 
Not trying to Hijack the thread but there is also a Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day. Coming out.

Really? I didn't even look for it :paranoid: I just seen the trailer for it today.
 
I heard the new Rambo will also deal with his family, and the girl will be his daughter
