Need help keeping weight at work

Just a few starting stats. I'm 20 y/o, 6' 1" 195 pounds. Two years ago back in high school I was the same height as no but weighing in at 215-220 pounds(lean, less bf% than i do now even) but got lazy and lost about all of it. I am now trying to get back to my old self and have begun lifting again.

Only problem is i'm finding it alot harder to gain weight now working 50 hours a week versus sitting in a classroom all day. I work in a warehouse and do deliveries for Pella Windows. My day consists of moving 100-500 pound windows from pallet to pallet, off of trucks, slinging over my shoulder, carrying them across the warehouse or through construction sites to where they need to go.

You'd think it'd help me get stronger but not so much it seems, instead its just so much work i'm constantly losing weight. Anyone got ideas for how to keep weight on alld ay long? I've ordered some Extend BCAAs with the idea to sip a gallon or so of it throughout the day. I don;t have access to be able to prepare food, need things that are(cheap!) easy to take with me, quick to eat and can keep me from burning through my own body all day long. Thanks!

Also add an extra protein shake or two, keep some nuts on hand. You basically have to out eat the problem. My buddy is a line welder in a plant and is fairly lean and doesn't do much cardio. He typically has a hard time maintaining because of the work load during the day.

some casein helped me while I built houses, made the weight stick, muscle milk or if not casein maybe cyto gainer or Nlarge2, choice is your...calories in-calories burned right....you have no choice but to eat more, i dont like it either but its the nature of the game.....50 hrs a week though you should be rammed with food and protein, good luck either way.

yeah, nuts are good. Also buy some spirulina tabs.

What about making up a bulking shake to carry around in a thermos?

I used to have the following:

1 cup oats
1/2 cup blue berries
1 banana
4 whole eggs
40g protein blend
top up to a litre with skim milk

- - and just have regular serves. Your thermos can bang around in the cab with you

extend is good, but all it will do is preserve muscle (which is still very important). it won't help you bulk. above posters idea of adding in carbs via a gainer shake will help in this aspect. anything you can snack on will help - string cheese works well for me, as does 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. if you have a fridge in the break room, put a gallon of whole milk in there to drink on your breaks.

i might be the only one on this but, natty PB sandwiches. you can eat them in any temp. they do not need to be kept cold........

Thanks for your ideas. I bought some "Naturally More" peanut butter i saw on another topic and was eating tablespoons of it throught the day while at work. Also got a big tub of sunflower seeds to snack on, plus my extend will be here in a few days. Thought perhaps i'd mix a bit of gatorade in it if i can find a mix that tastes good with it(seeign as i drink alot of gatorade and water at work anyways) so i get some bcaa's with my hydration.

Look like a good set-up?

almonds and cashews are a great snack as well.. i always have a pocket full at work...since you really can't prep anyhting at work, other than your lunch meal, shakes are gonna have to get you through..a protein blend, combined with a hefty scoop of weight gainer would work. if you have a micro, or even hot water, you can get those instant flavor packs of oatmeal, mix some protein in and eat that quickly...it's gonna be tough to get the meals in, but where there's a will, there's a way..
