Hey guys, need help here. I am 5'11 293lbs. I am going to workout/dieting for 1 month and after the month I was thinking of using h-drol. I have never taken that before. The only one i used was halo-test 25. I really want to lose the fat and gain muscle at the same time. Would h-drol do the trick and if so How long should i use it for and what PCT to use and when to use it. thanks guys.

might i suggest you get your BF% down first and then try HD? HD is not going to make you lose BF, well not much anyway. what is you BF%?

about 25%. where should i get my BF% at before i take it?
well there's not an exact number per say. the point is this, diet is key. i cannot stress that enough, ever. diet is something that has to be on your mind 24/7 for it to become a natural force in your life. an example, yesterday my work bought us lunch. upon selecting what i was going to have i needed to ask myself a series of questions. how many carbs have i have today? what dish has the most amount of protein in it and a decent amount of healthy fat too? how many calories does the dish have and how many more do i need for today? this whole process took about 3 seconds to complete. when i started in this lifestyle it took a bit longer because my experience was not what it is now of course. my first question before this lifestyle change and decision would have been, what tastes the best? you can have the best of both worlds sometimes but not always. training is second to diet. without proper diet training will only go so far. without both supplements or in this case PH/ps will only go so far. you need to two "main components" first for the third (and least important) to be effective. head on over to the nutrition section here. post your diet and let us help you with that first. research training and try new things in the gym, theres a lot of train and error, don't worry, that's normal, but with help it can be kept to a minimum.

Well i am going to try my 6 meals a day again. When i was dieting this how my eating habits was.

8am-protien shake added with oat meal, bananas and blueberry blended.

10am-2 whole wheat toast and and egg whites or boiled eggs(4 of it) no yoke

12pm-brown rice, chicken breast and salad

2pm-Fruits

4pm-just protein shake

6pm-brown rice, choice of fish/steak/chicken and some broccli or asapragis or some kind of vegi.

I would take that diet and strip most of the carbs out. Keto + cardio = fatloss. Use a protein minimum with fats as a primary fuel source. You've got way too much carbs in there for a cut, i would never have a bowl of rice as 6pm that's more carbs than I have now.

also i'd space out the meals an additional half hour... 6pm seems pretty early for the last meal but i don't know when you go to sleep.

Meal 1 you can keep your carbs there if you want. Meal 2 no toast just eggs, meal 3 no rice just chicken and salad, meal 4 is a no-no you can't have a meal without protein as a major component so it needs to be redone. Meal 5 is good... i'd do 2 protein shakes a day. Last meal i'd take the rice out.

I'd do another meal at 9PM like some cottage cheese mixed with 1/2 scoop of whey that's what i do, love it.

I wouldn't cut carbs too much right off the bat. You need to start making lifestyle changes that you can live with, that will become habit. If you drop most carbs right out of the gate chances are you will not stick with the program because your mind and body will be miserable. I'd cut down from where you are now slowly and let your body adjust over time. Your process will not happen over night and if you go about it slowly then you have a better chance of your mind and body adjusting and sticking it out. Just my two cents! I hope it all works out for you!

Just to be clear... I'm in no way trying to knock what unrealmachines opinion is on your situation, he is very knowledgeable and has helped me out a bunch of times. That is just my personal opinion on your situation. Just didn't want it to look that way.

I'm just saying how to get the job done fastest... obviously it requires the most mental fortitude but that's a big part of BBing and if you don't have it then ur **** out of luck. I love pushing my body to its limits, love going hardcore with training and diet, it's what I live for, and what separates me from a "casual" lifter.

You want the results, you gotta work for them. If you want to get the job done fast, just go hardcore keto and do cardio everyday. You'll shed fat like crazy. Get down to like 12% bodyfat and then run your Hdrol cycles and recover strength and size and then get bigger.

id say 15% is a good body fat to start a hormone (normal set by the ADA)

gotta be serious and dedicated if you want this to happen. anyone can lose weight by cutting calories but you have to be METHODICAL in your dieting practices to hold onto muscle!!!

So true! I hear you. I'm the same way, love pulling out my tupperware in food places when I'm with my friends and getting strange a** looks because I brought my own food! It's not for everyone, that's for sure...

keto is just very low carb diet. it enables your body to switch from carbs to fats for its energy source.

no it's not a supplement just a type of diet. ketogenic diet. the goal is to put your body into a state called "ketosis" where you burn body fat for energy. you will have to increase your daily fats and protein to more than what you're used to to compensate, but it works very well, at least it did with me. The first week may be tough as your body adjusts you may feel more tired/sluggish. This was never a problem for me since carbs have never given me energy anyways but if you can get past this feeling for a bit then it's smooth sailing and more stable energy levels

Yeah man check it out. I was chubby BF my whole life and this works really well for keeping me pretty low bodyfat. And i've never done really strict keto.

I really dont know if your stat could be correct if ur 295 or whatever at 25% you should be a strong sob that still about 225lb lean body mass so if u were to diet down tolets say 15% u would still be 250 that you would basicaly look like a wwe wreslter so in theroy you should be around a 400 plus pound bencher and 550 or more squater if u are my mistake
