Need a protein powder that doesn't wreck my gut

I'll have to give Muscle Feast a shot as well just to maybe mix things up a bit. Any flavor recommendations?

I have tried the Chocolate and Vanilla. Neither is a real sweet flavor. I actually quite enjoy the chocolate. It is a subtle smooth flavor. The vanilla is ok but it is not an overpowering vanilla flavor. I should mention that I have never had them in milk so maybe the flavor is quite different mixed in milk as compared to water.

The one thing I really like is that their powders do not clump and mix easier than any protein I have ever used before.

I will mention also they are a very "light" shake. The do not mix up thick because they lack fillers and thickeners. I have come to really enjoy this as compared to a shake this mixes up thick and sticks to the sides of my shaker cup.

I just checked my email and this weeks sale is 36% off the advertised price of their protein.

You first need to sign up for their newsletter and then you will get setup with a permanent 26% discount and then there is a coupon this week for an extra 10% off.

This sounds exactly like the protein from JBN. I use the Oatmeal Cookie flavor (tastes amazing by itself in water, lol how many other protein powders can you say that about) with fat free milk and peanutbutter and I think I'm having dessert.

No clumps, light flavor, easy to mix with just about anything.

Well, my PES snickerdoodle arrived today and my goodness...this stuff rocks! What doesn't PES make that's not good? LOL!

Oh, I know..NOTHING!

Great job PES crew!

Isoflex (Choc PB is great)
Metabolic Nutrition( PB Cookie and Banana are exceptional)
Beverly (CNC is their best IMO)
PES (SnickerDoodle is ridiculous, went through 2 tubs already)
Oxy Elite (Chocolate tastes like Devils Food Cake)
CL Pronom (Both flavors are great vanilla cake batter and swiss chocolate for their chocolate)

There's plenty of user reviews that would say PES Select protein is the answer to your problems. The flavors are amazing as well. Thank me later. :)

As much as I enjoyed the flavor of Select I got to review I had to stop taking it :( Was great going in but hell coming out

Not sure. I take all my proteins with milk. The farts generated with Select could drop birds out of trees and kill squirrels within a 3 block radius.

Lulz, I'm never too concerned with farts (I'm anosmic, can't smell it). It's the sharts I'm worried about.

Probably diet induced lactose intolerance. Limit shakes and dairy to 1 meal or 2.

Take w grain of salt

Add up the macros that's your serving size. Then add you "sweeteners" that accounts for 3-5g additional for the scoop

So example

100 cals

23 protein
1g carb
.5 fat

25g serving. Scooper size 30cc or 30-32g BC it needs to account for sweeteners

Just saying

Not sure what you're just saying.

Milk would be a bad idea if you have a lactose issue

I don't have a lactose issue. I can drink glasses of milk with no problem. Eat cereal by the boxful without issue. I've even had other protein shakes with milk and nada. :(

Interesting. maybe see if you can contact cooper about lactose amount in the product? Weird it does not settle.

Never had a problem disgesting it. Its hours afterwards/the next day when I hand my wife the gas mask. Lol.

Select has added lactase, and besides, its low carb and processed so the amount of lactose in it anyway would be tiny

My favs: Xtreme Formulations, Beverly, AllMax

Their proteins have always left me very satisfied in terms of taste and digestibility.

Solid recommendations here. I venture out and occasionally try other proteins but always have a couple of tubs of Beverly UMP. Beverly UMP and XF 2.0 Chocolate taste very similar to me.

UMP is one I always see compared to XF UP 2.0 in terms of taste. Still haven't personally tried it.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I left out the milk in the GNC Wheybolic and it seems to not make me as gassy. I didn't think a cup of milk could cause that much of a problem.
